Shanell is absolutely blessed with those hands of hers! I scheduled a hair cut and style appt as it’s been a year and she gave me the most absolutely PERFECT cut. My hair is bouncy, has flow, feels super healthy all while still keeping as much length as possible. I will gladly drive the 45mins to come see her! She is the goat! She is the sweetest and gives 110% to her clients! Will be the only person in this life I will ever let touch my hair. I trust her and she’s absolutely amazing at her job! Thank you shanell for making me feel absolutely beautiful today! Especially on my birthday 🤍🫶🏻

The salon is so cute and clean. I got my hair toned with the owner shanelle and she did amazing. The color was on point and the wash was so relaxing. There’s plenty of parking and food places near by if you get hungry during your appointment! I truly recommend this place!

I always like to give a new place a try for more than 6 months before giving a review. With that being said, I love coming to this Salon because of Alan. He’s amazing and he’s the only one that can control my full thick hair in San Diego. He’s super talented and his customer service is 10/10. The only issue with this Salon, is the location. It’s not in the best area and lately every time I’ve gone, there’s a group of guys always smoking cannabis, drinking out front and fighting. I understand Canabis is legal in California but as a girl and having to walk past a group of 4-5 guys who are high/drunk just to get my hair done doesn’t necessarily make me feel safe. The last time I got my hair done, it took over 8 hours since Alan is actually allergic to cannabis and had to take multiple breaks. He mentioned that the walls are pretty thin and the canabis smell/ smoke can come through pretty easily and affect his work. Which I could actually smell every time I go inside. I truly feel so sad for Alan and Beautiful You Sis Salon as their business is being affected. This wasn’t an issue before and like I’ve said, I’ve been coming here since early this year. I hope they can get this figured out before they start losing customers as most of us are women. I have an appointment coming up and will update my post in case I see a change.

My experience here was 10/10, Destiny did an amazing job with my super thick hair and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during the entire process🥰. The salon is also in an easy to find area with lots of parking in the front or back. I’ll definitely be back soon ❤️

This place is very friendly and inviting place. It's was my first time at this salon and was very nervous but with how friendly my hair styles was i had a great time and she exceeded my expectations. I am in love with my new hair style and will return.

Made an appointment with Annia for a partial highlight. She was very thorough with the consultation. My hair came out just as I wanted. The salon itself is so cute. All of the staff were very friendly. Parking was easy too. If you’re considering going blonde or need a refresh I would 10/10 recommend Annia.

Annia is amazing at what she does, she’s the only person I let work on my hair! At times I’m pretty indecisive on what I want done and Annia always works her magic to give me beautiful, stylish hair. I highly recommend Alan and Beautiful You Salon! He is the best professionally and all around. He really takes his time to explain different techniques of treatments and styling based on your hair type. Alan listens to what you're needs as the customer and walks you through the process. The salon makes it easy to set up appointments, has reasonable pricing, is always clean and plays good music to chill out with. There is ample parking in the back parking structure and Alan always accommodates me with my work schedule which not everywhere always can. Schedule Alan or anyone and you will be a satisfied client just like me 😊

Shanell is the best k-tip instructor in San Diego, I am very bless to have been able to take her K-tip extention course. Shanell is extremely knowledgeable and really takes her time to teach and explain everything step by step. I had my hair done by Alan @getatmebeauty_ on instagram & I’ve had such a lovely experience! The entrance to the salon is so modern and everything is so clean and well lit. Also, Alan offered me water as we checked in for my appointment making me feel super comfortable. I’ve previously had my hair bleached and I’ve expressed to Alan on how I really just wanted to grow my natural hair out and keep cutting the bleached ends. We spoke about how I really wanted to keep my length, keep my hair layered and also style it for this session. He referenced Farrah Fawcett and the Victoria secret 90s hair look for the styling and I was 100% on board. I appreciate the time he took to listen to me and to cater to what I was looking for. I’ll be coming back again to this salon as it was by far the best salon experience I’ve had thus far. Eternally grateful; thank u <3

I had such an amazing experience here! Everyone working there was so welcoming and nice! I got my extensions done by Alan and he did such an amazing job doing my hair. He revived my dead hair and communicated everything that was being done to my hair which was highly appreciated! He made my hair look exactly how i pictured it and he listened to everything i wanted with my hair and gave me advice on how to make it look better 💓 I’ve had my extensions for a month now and i’ve had no problems whatsoever, it still looks super good and it looks like it’s my natural hair! He did an amazing job with this installation! I’m so grateful for alan for being able to make my dream come true by giving me long beautiful hair!🤍

I’m am so happy to have stumbled upon this high quality salon. The staff was so sweet and personable. My girl, Shanell, made me feel so good and I’m soooo happy I got my hair done by her. She installed 24in k-tips and I’ve never felt so gorgeous. My hair is full and it’s all thanks to this woman’s work. I HIGHLY recommend coming here. In my opinion, Shanell is one of the most talented hairstylist in San Diego. I’ve been to so many hairstylist over the years and I’ve never felt as comfortable as I do with her doing my hair.
