Amelia is awesome! She’s always so professional, pleasant, understanding and supportive. I am a regular customer and I suffer from Hidradenitis Supprativa (HS). Waxing has helped me eliminate hair in that area which contributes to flare ups in HS. Since I’ve added consistent waxes to my regimen , I’ve seen so much improvement in my condition which has helped improve my overall quality of life. When I do experience flare ups Amelia is always so supportive of my skin needs and understanding of my need to be flexible at times, which means everything ! Not only is she aware of the condition and how it can effect people she has the desire to learn more and seek new information to pass on to her other clients who also suffer from HS. For all these reasons, I will always recommend!

Amelia's place is really super nice. It's a good sized second floor space right above a salon on 16th Street. This is a one woman show and Amelia really knows her stuff. I came here after months of avoiding body waxing even though I used to go regularly before I moved to Indy. The first place I tried in town was decent but left me with bits of wax still glued to me here and there. Not fun. When I was finally ready, I decided to conduct my search on vagaro and found Beauty Alchemist there. Amelia has tons of 5 star ratings on there and now I know why. I felt super comfortable and at ease with Amelia. She did a fantastic job and I left feeling super clean and relaxed and knowing this is now my new go to spot for eyebrow maintenance and body waxing. Her vajacial services sound really good too and I'm curious to try some time in the future. Go to Amelia at Beauty Alchemist. You'll be very well taken care of.

Where do I start about this place? I love Amelia so much. I see her once a month for a Brazilian and vajacial and man oh man I will honestly never shave again. She ensures that you are comfortable and for me this was the cherry on top! As a plus size women it is hard sometimes to put yourself in a vulnerable position like getting waxed, but Amelia made me feel as cool as a cucumber.
