I had scheduled an appointment with Crystal after reading the amazing reviews about her. I was not disappointed. Not only did she correct my very messed up shag haircut but was very patient with me as I was extremely anxious going into the appointment. I have another appointment scheduled with her next week for color and I am beyond excited. 100/10

Colby is amazing! I have been looking for a great stylist that knows how to cut curly hair for years! I am happy to report that I’ve finally found her. Colby is not only kind and caring but she is very knowledgeable as well. I am very thankful for the beautiful cut I was given, I will be coming back to see Colby when I am due for a trim. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

They have always been friendly and laid back. I had to get a new stylist and landed on Sean. He was very friendly and personable. Super easy to talk to and really did a phenomenal service on my hair

Colby was amazing! I went in wanting to do something different with my hair, but not knowing exactly what I wanted; Colby was so patient, went over various different options and explaining everything in great detail. Throughout the whole process she was very friendly and super fun to talk to! I was very satisfied with my new haircut and color! Even my husband complimented it as soon as I got home. Colby, you’re wonderful!

I was a very last minute walk-in last Sunday, before a reunion with friends. Colby gave me a wash, blow out and eyebrow arch and she was terrific! Professional and knowledgeable, for sure, but also really personable! It was the best hour I spent all weekend. For a change, I left the salon looking like I had been to a salon. (That hasn't been a common occurrence lately.) Thanks Colby, I'll be back. 😉

Sunny, Colby, Sean, and Crystal were so kind and accommodating as I waited until 2 weeks before my daughter’s wedding to make appointments for bridal hairstyles for my 2 daughters, the maid of honor, and myself. They made us feel so welcomed and cared for and the hairstyles turned out so beautiful! I can’t say enough about them and highly recommend them!

Recently, my daughter, and I both had our hair done, and once again, the experience was nothing short of amazing. I took my daughter here and we didn't know how to care for her curly hair and our stylist educated us on her hair the whole time we were there. This has got to be the best experience we have ever had. Will definitely be returning.

Sunny is the best hairstylist in the world 🩷 I've been going here for probably a little over a year, and every time I leave, she makes sure I feel like a princess. She has such an eye for what looks best on people and has helped me go from my natural brunette hair to a bold blonde halo to now all-over, icy blonde. She's never afraid to try something new and always does a great job! She does my boyfriend's hair as well and is the best stylist he's also ever had because she listens and collaborates with him every appointment. She's also just so fun to be around and always has good conversation! The prices for the salon overall are very reasonable for the amazing product you get in the end.

UPDATE: Ali is now at Cutting Edge Salon off Tanque Verde :) Ali did a color correction, fantasy color and haircut on my hair recently and she was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and friendly. It took longer than expected, but she was amazing and still got it done the right way. Highly recommend going to see her! Everyone at the salon was friendly and the atmosphere was great.

I have gone to multiple hair salons and nobody has ever been able to give me the haircut I’ve wanted. Crystal, the owner was able to look at my inspo pictures and give me exactly what I wanted on top of that dyed my hair the perfect color. I was started in a very timely fashion, all the stylists were very friendly and helpful etc. 10/10 experience will be back soon for my touch up !

I will start by saying the salon is clean and cute. My hairdresser was very kind but that's where it all ends. I went in looking to get my hair cut, I came in with a picture I wanted and we discussed that I wanted to keep as much length as possible. My hair to begin with was passed my breasts. She cut the unhealthy part off and showed me which was a 1.5 inch part. She then told me my hair was a little thin so layers by my face would look better. I told her some layers are okay but I have naturally curly hair and my hair will spring right up. Fast forward to the end of the service she cut easily another 5-6 inches off my hair and I look like Farrah Fawcett and Billy Ray Cyrus had a baby. I have a freaking mullet. And to top it off it's not even. It looks absolutely nothing like the photos. I literally cried for a week. My husband is currently deployed so I used this moment as a special treat and I feel so ugly now to the point my hair has been up every day since. And I just had to spend extra on hair extensions to fill the missing gaps. Now having my husband come home from deployment has made me so self-conscious and just utterly ugly. Needless to say my daughter and I both won't be returning.

Jennifer Hollis is a miracle worker! I came to her with the hopes that she could fix someone else’s failed attempt to match a picture. She was thoughtful in her questions making sure we were both on the same page. Throughout the whole process she explained every step which made me feel confident that I would get the end result we discussed. The results matched the inspiration picture exactly! Can’t recommend her enough, she is amazing - thank you Jennifer!

It's taking me a few weeks to write this.. I was going to let it go but I can't. I've been here in the last 2 months for 2 separate appts. One for myself and one for my son. My appt went OK enough, except that my hair was cut about several inches shorter than I asked and the layers are messy. I get I could have said something sooner but once it's cut short..how do you fix that without going shorter? My 2nd appt was bringing my son for a haircut. He had been growing his hair out and had a hair cut picked he was wanting. One when you look at the picture shouldn't have been hard to cut. Well he goes back gets his hair washed and cut and about 15 mins later comes back out with the stylist and she said they were done. She also tells me that they dont have the correct equipment ie. Clippers or razors to do the cut for my son. she said " I did what i could and I think you should just go see someone else or a barber" Well we pay and we leave. But I'm confused. I have seen men getting haircuts in the past in salon and didn't think I was choosing a place unable to cut my sons hair. When we get to the car I look at my sons hair. The back was so unevenly cut, not straight and different lengths and that's.just the back of his head. The front was so uneven and so botched that when we went to a barber to just clean it up it couldn't be done. My son ended up doing a buzz cut on his hair pretty short just to get his hair even and fix up the cut. We were devastated by the experience. If the stylist had said at first she was unable to do a men's haircut I would have understood.. we would have left found someone else and even paid a cancelation fee for her time rather than her doing this awful haircut on my son that couldn't even be saved. **edit** speaking with the owner we had a great conversation and she took ownership of everything that happened. It was nice to have an owner so invested and involved to making sure clients are taken care of. Even though we can't change the haircuts she did everything else to ensure we're were as happy as we could be now. Thank you Crystal.

Tammy gave me a perfect perm!! She’s very gentle as well as courteous. When my perm needs a refresh I will definitely go back! The whole staff are professional and friendly too.

Awesome salon that took care of my girls on a moments notice. My daughter had double dyed her hair and ruined it, but Colby and crystal lept into action like some kind of marvel superhero and got it back to normal in an hour or so. Miracle workers, the lot of them. Highly recommend

I had a wonderful experience with Jennifer. The atmosphere in the Salon was wonderful. Beautiful décor with friendly staff. After years of bad experiences over and over again at other salons, I am happy to have finally found an AMAZING Salon. **Editing after 2 years of continued service. Jennifer continues to be my go-to. Now, my young daughters have also fallen in love with Jennifer and ask to get their hair washed and cut so they can feel like a "princess".

The salon is clean and lovely with long white drappy curtains, looped over the rod, and a beautiful crystal chandelier hanging in the entry way. My hair dresser said she could highlight and lowlight my hair, no problem. Previously, I had gone to three other beauty salons, and they said, it could not be done. I had to have several reconstruction appointments first, before they could begin to think about coloring my hair. Crystal is an expert colorist. I had complete confidence in her when she said she could do it, no problem. She did the whole thing in three hours. She had to bleach the purple color out first, then she added three colors to blend naturally, two different shades of brown and blonde then the toner. When I was done, she said you are not going to kiss me, are you? I laughed, and said no, maybe I'd hug you. She was fun, because during the last stage of the rinse process, she told me it was pink in the back. I thought that's okay, I had too much red pigment from burgundy and purple hair in the past, We'll fix the pink the next time. She wouldn't let me look at it until she was done. She turned my chair sideways, as the anticipated hair color design and hair do crescendoed, it was finally done, and she turned my chair forwards, There wasn't any pink, just the brown and blonde, like I had asked for. It was really beautiful. I almost cried. She turned my dried out old purple hair into silky blonde and brown locks. I was shocked when I looked in the mirror. Beauty and the Beast is a wonderful salon with highly trained professionals. As I watched all the hair dressers as my color set, I witnessed nothing other than success after success. Beautiful after beautiful new hair styles were created for everyone at the salon today. I can't rave about this place enough! Beauty and the Beast is amazing!! Crystal is an awesome expert stylist, and colorist. I also love the cut as well. I feel like I hit the trifecta today. I can't wait to go back for my next visit for a retouch in a few months. Thank you Crystal for your expert color correction, and my stunning new hair color, cut, and styled creation!!!! Thank you again, I can't thank you enough. You Rock!!! I couldn't be happier!!
