I love this place! I have been going monthly for a year. 1 - the atmosphere is beautiful. it's easy to relax and take time for myself when everywhere I look is gorgeous and thoughtful. 2 - Janine is a wonder with my eyebrows. As a full-brow girlie, I will no longer trust my eyebrows with anyone else. Additionally, she is lovely to speak with and so kind and gentle with the wax! 3 - Kalina is the nail tech I usually get and she is always up for the funky nail art I want to do. My gels last so long and I always get compliments! 4 - You can order a drink! I'm hooked on the Orangecicle (alcohol free) 5 - the clothing and accessories available to buy is so cute! I've gotten quite a few items that I love.

Shawna is amazing! I used to get my eyelash extensions done on a regular basis for several years. Every time I would get them done I would find myself in the mirror an hour later pulling them out one by one because I did not like how they looked or how they felt. Because of this I finally decided to stop getting them done as I felt it was a waste of money and I could never find someone who did it how I liked. I waited for about 4 years before trying again and this time I went to Shawna at the Tejon beauty bar. She spent 2 hours making sure they were perfect and boy are they ever!! They look and feel so good. I can't even feel that they are on there. I only know by looking in the mirror and seeing how perfect they are. I am absolutely going to be a life long client of Shawna's that's for sure!!

Went in for a dip manicure and got a weird “gel dip” instead of a standard dip. It peeled off every nail in less than a week. I went back in and they gave me a standard dip manicure, which chipped two days later. I went back in a third time and they fixed the nails that were chipped. Since then, nearly every single nail has chipped with the exception of the few they fixed. Has to be the worst manicure/dip I’ve ever received. I’ve asked for a refund or voucher multiple times now and keep being told “the manager will contact me” but have yet to speak to them. Do not come here for any nail service. I came here since it was close to my house and I’m going to give birth any day now and didn’t want to travel far. It has not been worth the stress, time and money. If you want your nails to be done right the first time, this is not for you. Unfortunately, I’m probably going to go into labor with jacked up nails. So much for my last pampering session pre-baby! Nails do not last. Products they use are sub par. Customer service is lacking.

Absolutely the worse dip nails I have ever had . They are bumpy and the shape is awful . She broke one of my nails taking off my old dip and rather than putting on a tip and keeping my nails the same length she shaped it into a small almond shape . My nails definitely do not look like a nail technician did them .

Just moved from mass to Colorado Springs and this is First time into the Beauty Bar. Got my nails and toes done today with Lizzy and couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Highly recommend Beauty Bar and Lizzy !!!

Great experience, went with my wife for her birthday. Linzy and Penelope were just fantastic, it was a relaxing and enjoyable evening. They have a small bar with tasty cocktails and a friendly bartender, will definitely go again.

I made an appointment for this place and I LOVE IT. But the day I arrived at the time i scheduled the appointment, they wouldn’t take me and my sisters in until later on in the day. Very upsetting and I told them I had made an appointment and they still would not let us come in.

I went to the beauty bar downtown on a Saturday to get a haircut, the wash was super relaxing but when I got back to the chair the stylist asked me what kind of cut I wanted and I asked her to cut off the unhealthy part, which we both agreed was 2 inches. She showed me the length that she was going to cut and we both agreed. We also agreed on long layers, which I already had. By the time I was done, she had cut off 10 inches, along with layers up to my chin, choppy, uneven and my beautiful long hair was gone. I think at that point I was in shock. I called the salon and explained what happened, they offered to "fix" it. Went back in the second time with another hair dresser, leaving with my hair short on one side and long on the other with weird layers and not fixed. I didn't realize what my hair looked like until I took a shower and let it dry naturally. I have been in tears ever since this happened, I call the manager, explain what happened and tell her my hair is uneven and just looks terrible she tells me that she doesn't want to cut anymore off but will have her lead stylist determine if my haircut is acceptable and if not they would refund me. What happend instead was a third haircut to fix the second haircut and no mention of a refund. Now I am out 85 dollars, with a haircut that was devastating. There is really not much they can do to give my hair back but the least they could do is refund my money.

I wouldn't recommend going to Calina for your nails. She was quite rude to me. When I showed her a picture of the nail design I wanted, she seemed offended and said, "I know how to do a French tip." However, later on, she asked me to show her the picture again while she was working on my toes. Since there are many different styles of French tips, I just wanted to make sure she understood my preference. At the end of the day, I'm the one paying for the service. On the other hand, the bartender (I can't remember his name) was very friendly and personable. He made me a delicious alcoholic beverage and even offered to put money in my parking meter, although I already had enough. I really, REALLY wish I had chosen a different nail technician. Next time, I'll ask for Latonya or someone more professional and skilled.

Had a great experience with my pedicure. We went for a work function and we all had a good time and we were all pleased with our pedicures and manicures. Very nice and friendly staff!

I made a same day appointment for 3:45 PM. I showed up at 3:40. I still hadn’t been called at 4:00. I went up to talk to the front and she was kind and apologetic, looked and quickly said “she’s just finishing a top coat.” I waited an additional 20 minutes. They had nothing to offer me besides a dr. Pepper. Pretty poor.

This place is a joke and the products they use for nails are cheap. I went in 2 weeks ago for a dip “manicure” manicure was not included. No water or cuticle treatment. She cut my nails way too short. What happened to comparing your nails to the other hand and shaping based on that? My nails started to chip the next day. They got me on a couple days later for a free repair. And that started chipping the next day. I’ve always done dip because it normally lasts a long time and I have NEVER experienced chipping even after a month. Because of how terribly awful my nails came out, they’ve chipped and I’ve had to file them down myself. Now I have to start over with tips and acrylic after growing my nails out. This “manicure” dip was definitely not worth $69 and I will never ever go back to this place.

Kenna was absolutely incredible! She listened and offered ideas for curly hair and didn't just round brush my hair to death. I have been trying to find a hairstylist that listens and isn't pushy. Will definitely be booking again. On top of that the facility was clean and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was busy for a Friday afternoon but still great and friendly care.

We went in to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I got the ultimate mani/pedi and was not disappointed. I haven't gotten a pedicure in so long because I deal with ingrown toenails and had always previously felt like it was waste of money since I would always have to go back and cut them myself. Needless to say, this was the best experience I've ever had for a pedicure and I booked my next appointment before leaving. Calina is absolutely wonderful and helped with my ingrown toenails. She will also be helping me maintain them in the future as she is educated about them. No pain with her addressing them or after! and I FEEL like my toes/feet look great and no discomfort from my ingrown nails. Thank you so much Calina and Beauty Bar for having such great people. The bar is an added plus and the drinks were wonderful. Thank you Beauty Bar! Best experience ever!

3 of us girls walked in and We didn’t get acknowledged at all no welcome in or a hi or maybe even a sorry we’re busy or appointments only no eye contact we eventually just walked back out after 10 minutes with a not so pleasant experience unfortunately

This was my first time getting my nails done, and I was pretty nervous. But everyone there was super nice and welcoming, I got a delicious drink at the bar beforehand, and Lizzie did an absolutely incredible job on my nails! I'm so happy with them, and they match my hair perfectly, which is exactly what I wanted! I can't recommend this place enough! If you go, please ask for Lizzie, she's super sweet and does an amazing job!

I called to schedule a haircut with J.J., but she is no longer there, so McKenna(spelling?) was recommended. My hair was all one length and asked if she could give me something so it didn't make my face look so long. She gave me short layers, my haircut was so uneven and choppy, it looked like had a mullet. I called and was set up with Katie to fix my hair. Even though she evened it out, it was still choppy and I had to wear my hair in a ponytail until I could get an appointment elsewhere. Both girls were nice and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I would not recommend anyone I know to go for a haircut here. In response to management, this was my first time at your location. I was referred to J.J. by word of mouth and McKenna was recommended as her replacement by reception. McKenna must be a new stylist, so I do not trust the staff here and will not be back. It's going to take a long time to grow out the bowl haircut I got and I'm out the money I spent there.

Today was my first time at the beauty bar. I was absolutely amazed by the vibe the atmosphere and the employees especially the bartender Kylie she was amazing had great conversation with her super friendly and she made my waiting time seem like a breeze. Mariah did my nails and I am absolutely happy with them. I got the gel x full set long stilleto with design she did the damn thing. Huge shout out to these 2 ladies. I will absolutely come back again and recommend this place. I hope you know you have amazing employees. I have attached photos of my nails I would love for them to be posted because I am very proud of them. Thanks for the amazing experience.

I’ve been seeing Calina for over a year now and her expertise in bringing my ingrown toenail issues to complete resolution has been miraculous for me! As someone who walks everyday, I was suffering great pain from my ingrown toenails before I came to see Calina. She is an amazing Certified Master Pedicurist who has great knowledge and I’m so grateful to be a recipient of her talent & skill. I love being a customer here at Beauty Bar!

Beauty Bar is the best salon in the springs. Their service is great, and drinks are delicious. My daughter especially loves the gummy bears. I always get the seasonal pedicure and leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.

I booked a girls mani/pedi day for my niece’s 18th birthday. I don’t live in Colorado Springs so I’m not familiar with the nails places in the Springs. Unfortunately, choosing the Beauty Bar on Tejon was not the right choice. I opted to have a gel manicure because I was told the gel would last longer - well that same evening the gel started to peel off on three of my nails. By the third day every single nail had peeled off. I have attempted to contact a manager a couple times and the receptionist just tells me that the manager will call me back. It’s been a week and a manager still has not contacted me. Poor customer service, in my opinion. I will not be returning back nor will I recommend this place to family or friends.

I had high hopes since this place has received silver in "Best of the Springs" for nail service, but ... started with uncomfortable seating and the list goes on topped off with "creative math". Overpriced for mediocre service at best.

I made an appointment for an acrylic overlay. After coming in, I waited for thirty minutes past my appointment time. No staff made any apology for the wait or told me how soon I would be seen or seemed to have any kind of urgency that a customer was waiting this long. Finally, a technician who had been working on someone else came over. After explaining what service I needed, she told me she didn’t do acrylic and that I had been put down for a hard gel, which is not what I asked for when I made the appointment. I was told I could wait even longer for another technician who could do acrylic, so I left after spending forty minutes there for nothing. I don’t blame the technician at all, she didn’t make the appointment and was working on someone else that whole time. But the business side of this establishment has some serious improvements to make.

Mediocre! My technician had absurdly long nails, so much she could NOT perform accurately and efficiently. Removing gel is a NUISANCE. They will scrape instead of polish it off. Not pleased at all, you're better off going to another spot, especially for what they charge. The gel on my manicure de-bonded that same night.

I was fitted for Halo extensions at this salon and the service I received is almost laughable. I am a dark eyes dark hair tan skin brunette. I sometimes get caramel highlights and had some during this particular visit. At first they matched me with a color that was brown with some caramel.highlights and I was very happy with it. Once I paid and left the store, they called me and told.me that Halo no longer sells that color of extension and so I had to return to get rematched. They matched me with a platinum blonde color that did not at all match me. I was assured that they would "tone it down" and no cost and that it would match great. I am not experienced with hair and am very low maintenance so I trusted the stylist. Well when I received my peice and took it to them to get toned down, it was returned to me looking exactly the same. I spent over 600 on my peice and I do not wear it because it doesn't match me. My hair stylist who I normally go to to cut and highlight my hair won't touch it because it is too bright and she's afraid of changing the color and charging me and it still not match me. I called Halo and they told me that the salon should have matched me and that I should return to the salon. SO I return to the salon with my peice and explain mysituation. I am told to please wait while she goes to "speak with the manager". She then comes back to say that the manager says I would be charged 170 to recolor my peice and that there is nothing I can do. Sooooo do NOT go there for hair/hair extensions. They took total.advantage of the fact that I was not experienced with this stuff and now I'm out over 600 bucks with extensions that I can't wear. I will be following up with Halo as well on the matter and hope to atleast have them investigate further. Overall I would say this place is predatorial and I received HORRIBLE hair service and customer service Do not go here.

Katie is an amazing stylist. She is new there but has done hair for 6 years. She made my highlights look amazing. The manager Arianna is also amazing and makes sure all clients are taken care of. Plus I had the most amazing cherry limeade!

My regular stylist moved out of town. I've been very nervous to find a new one. I took a leap of faith and made an appointment with Rachel B. She was fantastic! My consultation was on point, we made a plan that I'm happy with. Her attention to detail was comforting. I left with a great haircut and a new style.
