TLDR: Elizabeth butchered my hair, it cost way too much, and I would not come here if you have very long hair. I've gotten a few haircuts here - the first was good, the second was okay, and the third was incredibly subpar. The stylists have all been very kind, but I have very long hair and I feel that with my two most recent cuts, the stylists didn't really know how to work with my length. In particular, my most recent stylist (Elizabeth) was not realistic with what she could do for me. This most recent cut butchered my hair, I could even tell SHE didn't like the result when she was done, she was almost even apologetic because she knew it looked nothing like what I asked for. My resulting cut did not look well blended at all, there was a very blunt divide in my layers which was not at all what I asked for. I wish she had the foresight to know that would happen with my length and what I had asked for. That's what I come to the salon for - stylist expertise. The cuts are very pricey - I come here because I love supporting a Latina business but I think they have missed the mark when it comes to cutting and styling my hip length, straight hair. Additionally, when I got my most recent cut, I called and *specifically* asked for someone that could work with very long hair. I chatted with Elizabeth and specified the type of cut I wanted. At my appointment, she makes a comment about being "afraid to cut long hair" (which I understand, people with long hair tend to care about their length a lot) - but why did I specifically ask for a stylist who is skilled with long hair and have my stylist essentially saying she's not very confident with long hair? I'm incredibly disappointed. My hair was butchered and I'm so upset I paid $140 for something worse than I've gotten at supercuts. Elizabeth absolutely missed the mark with my cut. Aside from it just looking bad, she was like 20 minutes late to my appointment and was rushing me at the end to squeeze in last minute nail appointment (I overheard, it's not a big salon lol) At the end of my cut, Elizabeth did offer to adjust anything I didn't like if I came back but I'm seriously afraid to let her touch my hair again. I will not be coming back here, and if you also have very long hair, I would urge you to go elsewhere.

Elizabeth was fantastic- I had an outdoor wedding on a warm humid fall day (in 2022) and our hair and makeup held up fabulously throughout the entire event. She worked some serious magic! Thank you to her and the entire Beauty Box team (who help schedule us 3 ladies and were very sweet while we were there)!

As always, the salon was clean and staff were super friendly, especially Ben who greeted me and offered me snacks during my long service. He also provided great consultation with honest recommendations. I went in for a men's haircut. Ben recommended a men's natural volume perm because I have really straight hair that tends to go flat at the top and sticks outwards at the sides. Which has always been a concern of mine when wanting to try a different hair style. He also felt that it'll be a great look for me and he sure was right! I wanted to try something different heading into the new year and I got my wish through the help of Beauty Box!

I had driven by Beauty Box a hundred times before calling to get an appointment for a haircut. I’m so happy I finally did! Érica was great, to say the least. She heard exactly what I wanted and went straight to work and boy was I satisfied. So much so that I scheduled to color treat my hair next week. I can’t wait to see how she transforms my lol yet again!

I went to this salon with beautiful long, hair with a silver ombre, asked for a little touch up, and left with short, yellowish-orange hair that looked horrible and has taken months to restore......... biggest mistake ever. Also extremely overpriced!!!!

I am in LA as a tourist and they gave me an appointment the same day I called. The store is very nice and clean. Dina who did my nails was very friendly and she did an awesome job! The Shellac nails are totally perfect. So 5 Stars :)

Beauty Box has the best customer service. I've had really bad experiences at other salons, but my friend recommended this salon. All the girls are amazingly talented. I highly recommended this business.

Beauty Box was recommended to me by my friend who's really obsessed with make up. Ha! Since I needed someone to fix my icky eyebrows, I didn't hesitate to give them a try. I was so amazed how Dena changed my eyebrow's shape. But before she started fixing my eyebrows, she told me first what she was going to do with them and what shape my eyebrows would be. I was nervous at first while looking at her shaving them but after few minutes, I already enjoyed watching her transforming my eyebrows. I really love the result and I even got compliments from my friends. Dena also helped me with my lashes. She gave me a beautiful set of lashes and helped me applied it perfectly. I am going to recommend beauty box to my friends. That's for sure because of the excellent quality of service I received here.
