I got my hair done with Katie Mai after spending a very long time looking for someone who would do my hair the way I wanted it done so I could stick with one person! I’ve finally found her! Claire A. is truly the best!! Every time she does my color I'm in awe of how great it looks not only when we're done but how it stays looking great for months. She TRULY knows what she's doing!! She always keeps in mind your hair health and always manages to make the vision a reality!! I can NOT recommend her enough!! Even if I move I'd come back to her--I don't trust anyone else with my hair!! Ask for Claire!!

The service at Beauty Brands was great. Tessy did my cut and color, and, as always, she did a wonderful job. I have been utilizing her services for several months now and I will definitely continue to go back to her. I like going to Beauty Brands because I usually can expect a similar experience across all the stores. My only issue is its difficult to know what level stylist to pick because of how they label each category. If you have a complicated style or haircut or expect a lot then I suggest going with a Master Stylist who is a little older since they will have more experience over time. But as with any trade, it depends, and masters cost more. It's worth it tho imo. Am happy with my cut even tho the senior stylist didn't point cut or use the thinning shears, my cut still looks good. She is a senior stylist which is mid level under a master so I kept that in mind. She also forgot to show me the back of my head, which I didn't realize until later at home. Sometimes people forget and I was probably her last client of the day and she was tired. The back looks great so no issues. Would return but probably go to a master next time and hope/ask for some point cutting.

I get my hair done by Jessica Smith she always does an amazing job! Her insta is hairjesser_ I highly recommend her! My brother also got his hair cut and she did an amazing job and his cut was a lit cheaper than the last place he went to and she did a lot better job!

This location (Barry Rd) has been doing downhill for years! I stopped going to this location about 3 years ago when I booked 3 children's haircuts and not until AFTER the haircuts were done did tell tell me two of my girls were too old for children's prices. Not a big deal had they told me before they took my girls back. Cut to this week, I called Monday to try and make three appts again, but was hung up two times within 3 seconds of saying hello. I was having phone issues but I couldn't even fix it before Josie hung up on me. When I finally got through and she could hear me, she was quite rude about it. When I asked to speak to someone else to make appts and a manager, she said she was the ONLY person I could talk with and she was the manager. I will NEVER go back to this location for any services. Which is too bad because Lucy (esthetician) is fantastic! If Josie is truly a manager, she needs customer service training. I'm also a manager and we also have issues with our phones, so I wait and say "if you can hear me, I can't hear you" and even ask them to call back before I hang up.
