We had a fantastic experience at Beauty By Ashley! Shaliah, Jenna and Ashley were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment Nanny and I walked in. Shaliah is very meticulous and took the time to ensure I was happy with the design, style and length of my acrylic set. Nanny was celebrating her 93rd birthday with a mani and Jenna treated her like royalty! The salon itself was clean and inviting. They even have outdoor seating to enjoy if you happen to arrive early. We left feeling relaxed and absolutely loving our nails. I made sure to schedule my next appointment with Shaliah, right away.

Spoken to Ashley (not the receptionist) on 12-11 to book in appointment for my nails. She gave me a 12 o’clock appointment on 12-16. Only to cancel on me 1 hour before, “saying she does not do mani or pedi”. Nor do she accept new clients.

First visit here for a basic pedicure. Yahaira was my tech and was fantastic. Facility was clean and very busy. Obviously lots of happy customers. I’ll be back!

I wanted this to be the place that worked for me. However after a few visits I realized that’s not the case. Each time I would wait at least 15 minutes for my appointment with the owner Ashley. One time she asked me to come 30 mins early so I did, then I sat and waited until AFTER my previous appt time. Another time I sat in the chair waiting for her to finish doing inventory in the back. The last straw was when she reprimanded ME for not choosing additional time for my service online when I booked, which I didn’t even see an option for. I assumed time to remove previous nail gel was already added into the slotted time?? Well it wasn’t and she was so mad at me. She was very rude to me in front of other guests and her staff. She made me feel horrible. I said I’ll just go somewhere else then, I didn’t even want to be there anymore. She ended up finishing my nails in silence, didn’t seem like it was an inconvenience at all in the end. Just someone on a power trip. There are better places folks so I would suggest going elsewhere. It’s a shame she can’t take her ego down a few notches.

*** Update****after coming to this place for months ignoring the red flags and wasting our money we realized the problem stems from lack of leadership and the poor quality products. The owner reprimands staff in front of customers and a gel manicure doesn’t last even a week. Below is how we felt on the first visit, the good technician doesn’t even work there anymore. This was our first time, we picked the place based on reviews and how close it is to home. The prices are comparable to other salons. The place itself is nice and clean, a little small, feels very crowded when there are multiple customers, and the waiting area is a small two-people sofa, but overall feels nice and cozy. Now for the experience, it is clear it depends on who you get. Leaney was absolutely fantastic, professional, charismatic, friendly, she did a great job, was very gentle, constantly checked for our satisfaction and feedback. My husband had Marta, complete opposite experience, no customer service skills, very rough with the tools, and unfriendly demeanor. My husband was booked with her for pedicure and manicure. When she was done with the pedicure, she moved on to the next customer and left him sitting there without any explanation, good bye or anything. My technician, Leaney, noticed, confirmed if my husband had another pending service, went and spoke to Marta, who said: “Opppss I didn’t see that”, she was already working with someone else and didn’t care. Leaney took my husband and did his nails while soaking mine. At that point I told Marta that the least she could do was apologize, she instead decided to give attitude and say she doesn’t speak English, I was talking to her in Spanish, and she saw me talking to my husband in Spanish too. This has nothing to do with a language barrier, it is lack of caring. We loved Leaney, but we were not sure if we were coming back until we heard back from the owner, Ashley. She took complete ownership, apologized, and told us the coaching provided to the technician. Because of her quick response and actions, we know she will do the right thing to train all technicians to offer the same kind of service Leaney offered, and we will definitely come back and continue supporting them.

Good work, but unfortunately when making an appointment for a specific time I would have to wait at least 15-20 minutes after my time to begin service. If I picked a specific tech for my appointment another tech would do my nails. Owner or boss reprimands employees in front of guests. Done with this place.

We have been supporting this business since the beginning of the year, even though there were red flags from the beginning. Most of the ladies who work there are amazing, however, the quality of products used is below average; gel manicures should not peel off, first time, we were told it was because blacks and whites do that (black is one of our favorite colors, we get it all the time and in previous salons, we only had to get a manicure done again because of nail growth). They fixed the chipping and issues every time, which is why we kept going back, as they took ownership, however, five times in a week is ridiculous. Then, the owner Ashley reprimanding her employees in front of customers because they didn’t clean the polishes according to her expectations, that was just uncomfortable and unprofessional. Create a system and follow-up, if coaching is needed, do it in private. If the behavior continues, start a corrective action process. We wanted to support them, but if we can’t get at least a week out of a gel manicure, and we have to be uncomfortable while we are there, then it is not worth it. The 4 of us will be going somewhere else.

This salon does such a nice job. Alayna did great with my pedicure, giving the best calf and foot massage I’ve had in a long time at a nail salon. The place is clean and has such friendly staff. The pedicure chairs are superior. Love this place 😊

I do not like to leave negative reviews but honestly- Such a disappointment Scheduled an appointment for my daughter and me. I got a call from the nail technician saying the appointment had booked under one technician but that she would take care of it so we could do our appointment together (my daughter is young) We drove 30 mins for our appointment only to find out that she did not get the appointments together. She never called to communicate. We waited for 20 mins after our appointment was suppose to start before anyone told us the problem. Due to the lack of communication and service - we had to leave without getting our nails done. Disappointed little girl on the 30 minute drive home.

Had an amazing experience here! I haven’t gotten my nails done in months since moving to Fort Myers. It’s hard to find a place that cares about the health of your nails and that also does a precise job. Beauty by Ashley checked every box for me and then some! Her salon is beautiful. My nail technician Leaney was so sweet and did an excellent job on my gel pedicure and manicure. I loved the view of the lake and nature while getting my toes done. All the ladies who were getting their nails done next to me were so sweet. I will definitely be back!

Everyone was super friendly, the salon was clean, and my appointment was on time. Leaney was my nail technician and she KILLED IT. She is very detail oriented, and she cleaned up my cuticles well. On top of that, she’s such a sweetheart <3

I have Jenna as my nail tech. She is absolutely a artist at nails. I can literally dream up a set of nails and she delivers. The owner is friendly and sweet. Everytime I go in there the environment is friendly, clean and just overall inviting. I would recommend this place to everyone. I went to the same nail salon for 10 years. I found this one and Jenna and she showed me I can go above and beyond in my nail game. 10 out 10 recommend. I would give more stars if that was an option

I have given this salon 4 chances because it is convenient to my house and all the positive reviews but have been disappointed with 3 of the 4 visits. I had made an appointment on line for gel manicure and regular polish pedicure. My pedicure nails were cut so short that my big toe was bleeding and then she continued to file down more, extremely painful. The tech then started my manicure but never pulled out a blue light for the gel. I kept saying I wanted gel but she did not speak any English. I finally decided to just let her do a normal manicure and not say anything but not come back. The tech then led me to the dryer and two of my fingers had already smeared halfway off. I spoke up and told the girl checking me out that I had made an appointment for gel and that the polish was already messed up. The owners son checked my appointment and said it was supposed to be gel. I was asked to sit back down and someone else would fix them. Another tech removed the old and painted the gel in about 5-10 minutes. You can see through half of the nail polish because it was rushed. Very disappointed, was never given an apology or even an acknowledgement.

I have known Ashley since 2018 and she is a remarkable person with such a big heart. She started her salon in a small space, due to her passion and love of her career, it has grown into the beautiful salon it is today with an outstanding team that love what they do. She is also a great teacher, I have watched as she coached newer team members to become successful. Do yourself a favor... visit this salon and come up with your own opinion as you won't be disappointed! Don't be surprised if you walk away with a few new friends.

Recently went here to get a pedicure and it was such a great experience! The techs were all very nice and welcoming and the shop was cute and clean. Overall a great and relaxing experience with a great view of the water. What I also really love is they are Spanish speaking! The staff are so, so sweet- words cannot explain how nice they are; Kind and pleasant to conversation with. I also came back recently for full set acrylics with my sister and they came out PERFECT! I was worried at first with a lot of bad experiences, I’m also really nitpicky so wasn’t sure but I was so impressed! We were sooooo happy! Kat did my nails perfect, literally! She a real nail tech- Will be coming back for sure!

Super convenient since it’s close to home and they do a great job on nails. However, the times I leave I’m always super disappointed in the lack of service when it comes to time. Multiple times I have been left waiting 20 minutes even close to an hour! My last visit was frustrating since I’m a new mom and wanted some time to myself but only have limited time.. I booked my time for 4:40 and waited until 520 for them to take me in. I’m not sure if I’ll be back anymore.

The best nail salon. EVER. 5 stars every single time!! I've enjoyed every single spa day and look forward to the next! Super happy to have finally found a great spa that now truly feels like family!! This place is a gem! I hardly have time to get a pedicure, and really I have given up at finding a place that doesn't just race through it just to get you out the door. We are visiting from out of town, and walked in for a pedi for me and nails for my neice. They helped us right away and I can honestly say that it's the best pedicure I have ever had. Yahaira did my toes and she was so friendly, conversative, and even though I could tell that she may be somewhat new, she took the time to do a very detailed job cleaning/grooming my feet! I would be back over and over if we lived here!
