I recently had an at home spray tan with Dana. This experience was the peak of luxury. I crawled out of bed in my robe, let Dana into my condo, and then was tanned and back in my robe in a matter of 10 minutes. I’ve been a regular at Beauty Commons for years and it’s my go to for tans & brows. This was my first time being tanned by Dana and she is simply a joy to b e around. It’s impossible to be in a bad mood while being spray tanned by Dana so book her the next time you need a pick me up.

Knock knock?! How did I not know this place was hiding above the late-Fox Trot (RIP)??!! Disclaimer: I came here for a spray tan AND a job interview, which spoiler alert, I did get the job… but this could not be a more honest review of my real experience prior to employment. I genuinely discovered this treasure trove of some of the nicest, most talented beauty gurus in Chicago. Seriously, go look at their website/IG. @beauty_commons … one stop shop for tan, makeup, brows, Brazilians, and more!!! And now they just started offering BIPOC solutions for spray tans too and I almost cried when I realized the solution they customized for me actually looked like my natural tan! As someone who is allergic to the sun, it truly is THAT serious. 🥲🥹

I can honestly say Rae is the best in the business at what she does. Her spray tans are always the perfect color and she’s helped me realize the full potential of my eyebrows with tinting and waxing. Rae is talented, but more importantly she has a way of making you feel comfortable when you’re feeling your most vulnerable standing half naked for a tan. She offers a judgement free zone and always has a body positive attitude in her space which is something I value... especially in a postpartum body!!! If you haven’t gone to her yet... run don’t walk!
