Best cut color and blow out I’ve had in recent memory. Natalya completely transformed my hair with a full balayage that took about 4 hours. She was flexible and tireless, continually revising her vision as she went along and got to know me and my hair better. Equal parts technician and artist, Natalya has both the experience and the love of craft to make her a truly standout stylist.

Lovely place. I got a skin fade and am very happy with the way it turned out. The whole vibe is as warm. So is the shaving foam that Natalie applied (there was an extra machine just to warm shaving foam!!). Very friendly, got served a hot tea to warm me up from the cold outside. I will be back. Thanks!

I love this place! Alla did my hair, and she was amazing. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted, especially when I wasn’t sure about the exact color to go with. She has a great eye for detail and helped find something that suited me perfectly. She also gave me the perfect cut - I was so nervous about trimming my hair since I’ve been growing it out, but she made sure I was comfortable with every step. The result was truly beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Highly recommend!

It was a heartwarming, beautiful experience! I was on my way to a job interview when I decided to walk in. Natalie and her kind, efficient colleague who took care of me on Friday morning simply won my heart. They know how to handle black West African hair! I was pleasantly surprised. I felt right at home, I felt encouraged. The tea from London was delicious. The haircut very inspiring. An experience to remember and repeat!

Mi experiencia en este salón fue súper excelente! Hoy, tenía otra cita en otro salón, no me gustó el sitio y no conecté con la chica! Comencé a caminar y conseguí este salón, me encantó xq es muy iluminado, es muy bonito y lo más importante para mí es el trato al público y es increíble! Me encantó el baby light y el corte. A mi hijo le cortaron su cabello y fué excelente. Mi hijo salió fascinado con su corte y él es súper exigente, siempre q voy a cortar su cabello es un sufrimiento 🤭. Aquí fué feliz!😍 Felicito a todo el equipo, su trabajo es impecable! Sin duda alguna, volveré!

Very happy with my cut! I didn't have an appointment but they were able to accommodate me and were very warm and welcoming. Renee cut my hair and I’m thrilled with the blow out. I’m excited to go back!

As other reviewers have said, the staff at Beauty House are extremely welcoming and kind. I received a beautiful haircut and blowout from Natalie, and she couldn't have been gentler or more considerate. My only regret is not having come here sooner! Beauty House has been in Park Slope for four years, and is just a short walk from my house. I'll definitely be back!

Recently got my roots dyed here. They did an AMAZING job. They match my color perfectly. They also did a hair mask treatment at the end which cost an additional $30, but it was WELL WORTH IT. My hair looks incredible. I will definitely be back.

The haircuts we got were good but they charged me $272 for two children’s haircuts. I was shocked, as their menu says kids’ cuts are $50. But they charged me another $50 per child to blow dry, and then more for a condition “treatment” which they didn’t ask me if we wanted. They also charged me more for my kids’ long hair, but didn’t say anything about the extra charge until it was time to pay up. Unbelievable. Customers need to be made aware of extra charges beforehand. Also, when I called the next day to discuss the issue, she hung up on me. We won’t be going back here.

This is the best brow lamination I have EVER had!!! I’ve been so many places all over New York City and no one has made my brows look as amazing as Marina. She was so careful and had such attention to detail when shaping my brows. This was my first time getting a lash lift and I was so amazed by those results too. I live over in midtown Manhattan and I come all the way back here to Park Slope to get my brows down now. Thank you!!!!

A good place for men’s haircuts. My barber, Ala, very gentle and recommend a style that looks good on me. She also gave me one of the best head massages when she shampooed my hair. Their prices are also really good.

A fabulous staff. On top of everything that’s been going on, it’s been refreshing to see Natalie take all precautions during COVID as far as infection control protocols , etc. Supremely talented stylists - have been always fully happy with my results here. Have been seeing Natalie during last few months and always have been grateful for her care and attentiveness. Support small businesses!

Excellent service and staff. Went for my first cut since March of 2020, and I was the only person in the salon other than my stylist, Natalie. She was so sweet and gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in years. She wore a mask and did just fine even though I was wearing two masks (I work in a hospital, so I wanted to feel extra safe for both of us). I have very wavy hair and prefer a maintenance-free 'do. Natalie listened and delivered. We were both so excited, we took photos right away. I'll be sending my boyfriend here to fix his quarantine cuts by yours truly and wish the salon all the best during this reopening. Prices are really fair too, especially for Park Slope. Thanks, Natalie!

I started going to Beauty House at the suggestion of my husband, who knows the owner, Natalia, because she used to cut his hair when she worked for a barber in the neighborhood. When she opened her own place he followed her because she's a wonderful barber and stylist. He was totally correct, she's fabulous -- also extremely friendly, good-natured, welcoming, and has an extremely gentle touch. I've had about 4 haircuts and colorings, and a couple of manicures, too, all of which have been super. She even got me to stop biting my nails by giving me my first gel manicure. It worked! The staff who works with her are all marvelous as well, particularly Yentl, who specializes in blow-outs, and is a miracle worker with a hair dryer and brush. Natalie, herself, is a miracle worker with cut and color -- I get many compliments on my hair from friends and neighbors. And yes, the price is reasonable for Park Slope, the salon is very clean, Natalie offers tea, coffee, and cold water with lemon -- in short, it's like a vacation to spend a couple of hours there, getting pampered. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

Was able to get a same day appointment and loved the results! First haircut post quarantine so I was in serious need. They are adhering to cleaning/disinfecting/distancing and mask wearing protocols. I felt very safe there even getting my hair washed. They are very friendly and do great work! Glad to find them in the neighborhood.

I can’t say good enough things about Natalie and the rest of the crew! I come in for my weekly blowouts because their service is unbeatable. Always with a smile and they know exactly how to do my hair ( thick and curly so it ain’t easy)— So happy to have find her and have been with them since the very beginning.
