I had my first experience at Beauty Junkie since my hairdresser moved there recently, and it was great. I have mobility issues and it was extremely easy to navigate in the salon, very very clean, beautifully decorated, and felt like an early morning escape while I got something I really needed done. (A wash/cut/style) They also have no surprises pricing which was I felt very refreshing. Everything about it is very low pressure and easy going and as per usual, Taylor Grey hit the mark with my multiple issues hair, and then I was on my way. Already booked and ready for March. You won’t be sorry if you book with them.

So happy I'm local to Beauty Junkie! I need to prioritize taking care of my hair more and this place motivates me too! The hairdressers are so positive and fun and are clearly passionate about what they do. Complete professionals with an impressive ability to execute on what's requested of them. I had the pleasure of working with Taylor who is a marvelous artist with a down to earth and humourous personality. She took great care of my hair and set clear expectations throughout. The environment they work in is also very cool and cozy 💚 I would highly recommend 🤗

This was my first visit to Beauty Junkie but not my first with my stylist Taylor Gray. I loved the vibe in the shop. It was so relaxed and inviting! I have been seeing Taylor for over a year now and absolutely love her talent and personality. I cannot recommend Taylor enough! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcome and completely at ease. She truly listened to every detail I shared about what I wanted and took the time to ensure she understood my vision. Her precision and creativity are unmatched, and the end result was absolutely perfect. Not only did she give me a fantastic haircut/style, but she also made me feel confident and positive throughout the entire experience. Taylor was amazing and so sweet, she is so fun to talk to. This salon was perfectly cleaned and nice and let me mention beautiful inside. It was very laid back, no hustle and bustle just straight me time. I love the payment process they have, you will always know what you are paying so there is no hidden fees and tips. This was my first time in a salon and it was an amazing first experience! Krys went over what I wanted one last time before starting, and then checked with me throughout and took in my input during the process while also making sure I understood what she was doing and why. I was very comfortable and able to get along well in the atmosphere. Very excited to come by again!

Krys was my hairstylist and she did an amazing job. I had a pretty tight schedule but she managed to work with me anyway thankfully. My hair looked so vibrant and felt so soft. If you ever come here, please book with her because she cares so much and takes time to make sure you’re happy when you leave the studio :D I got so many compliments on my hair thanks to her

Seems like a really nice group of people! Pretty salon, really fun vibe and a comfortable place for all with no judgement. Unfortunately, my daughter’s hair turned green a couple of days after her appointment. We have a water softener and use sulfate free shampoo, etc. while I expected the pink to fade quickly, black turning green within a couple of days was a big let down. The concept of by the hour services appeared to slow down the service significantly. I’ve been getting my hair done for years with complicated root coverage, highlights, cut, blow out. It took far longer for a very slight haircut to short hair and solid colors for most of the head and a few strands of bleached hair. They did reach out to offer to fix it, which I appreciate, but I won’t be returning. I hope it is just a one-off experience and this salon has great results going forward. It appears many people are very happy!

Wow Grace! Not only was the glossing well done but let's talk about the styling. For the first time in years, my hair actually retained the style and curl overnight! No bonnet needed. And I went to work today with my hair looking as great as it did yesterday leaving my appointment.. You are a star! Susan is extremely talented and I absolutely love my hair again. I woke up this morning and my hair looked as good as it did yesterday after Susan styled my hair. Susan will take her time to ensure you leave happy. No staking up appointments as she gives you her undivided attention. As soon as you walk into the salon you feel the love and kindness!

I am so happy to have found Beauty Junkie and Kenzie! She totally transformed my hair. I walked in with a hot mess of hair and walked out feeling like a new person! She was so sweet and personable and talented. I also very much like the way the salon has it's fees structured by paying flat fees for the time it takes instead of an ala cart menu that can really add up and leave you with sticker shock at the end. I cannot wait to book my next appointment and get into some fun colors!!!

Susan is an expert artist at her craft & all around good human! I wanted something that few others (and none in JAX) have ever been able to give me- effortless hair that fits my lifestyle. Having spent time behind the chair as a stylist myself, I knew that what I wanted would take experience and skill. She broke all the “hairdressing rules” in the perfect way cutting my wet curls with a razor; but the truth is, I stalked her work for a good year before I booked an appointment, so I knew I could trust her. I’m so glad that I did! She gave me exactly what I wanted & even threw in bonus undercutting that frames my face beautifully when it’s pulled back. Not only does she have experience and skill, but also vision. Grateful to have found this studio and Susan!
