I usually don’t write bad reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience. My daughter went to Beauty Nails near Preston and Mud Lane for a basic pedicure and gel manicure, paying $100. While her pedicure was fine, her nails were poorly done and looked terrible. The black gel was not doubled up as it looked like one coat - very gray and transparent for black gel polish. While there my daughter provided feedback to the nail tech on critique to correct her nails several times. Even asking if he could just paint them all black because the French tip was a challenge for him. His response was, “That will be extra money. “ She called me upset, and I met her at the salon before their 5 PM closing time—we arrived at 4:56. However, the doors were already locked. We seen them inside. When we called, they answered but said they had shut everything down for the day. They told us she could return on Tuesday because the nail technician spent a long time on her nails. I explained he may have taken a long time but he did a very poor service. I explained that my daughter has a busy schedule—she’s a military service member and a student at UK—and wouldn’t be able to return as she would be leaving Louisville today. I requested a refund, but they refused. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I would not recommend Beauty Nail Salon based on their lack of professionalism and poor customer service. After reviewing this business has excessive complaints regarding poor quality work and unprofessionalism toward customers. The business was not listed on BBB (Better Business Bureau.) However, I have officially added the business and filed a complaint in the event others would like the opportunity to file a complaint as well. When a customer spends their hard earned money it is expected that a quality service will be performed and that the customer will not be met with hostility.

I Love this place they definitely have mastered customer service! I can walk in 30min before they close and still get the best service they can give as if it were the start of the day. They always tell me they can give me whatever I want. If you haven’t been here you have to try this nail salon. It’s one if the BEST IN THE CITY!

First time here. Last time here. Literally the worst acrylic white tips ever. They look like toe nails. I cried the whole and they acted like it was my fault after begging throughout the process to fix them. Staff is super rude and refused to fix them. I would rather where press ons then what they did. Never ever go there. By the other ratings...I'm not the first.

The first red flag was when they used a nail extension to pop off my broken nail….very damaged from improper removal. There are missed spots with the acrylic overlay that look bumpy or cratered. Gel paint is average, doesn’t look how I would expect from getting them professionally done. Not really somewhere I would want to go back again.

Not very happy with them they was just very rude and hateful when i called i had 2 nails chip and called to ask if they could fix them. Absolutely no more of my business. I've been there 4 times wished there were a negative rating that's what they deserve

Came into the salon for a pedicure and was not disappointed. Linda is amazing. I got the $50 pedi and it included a great massage and paraffin dip. Very relaxing, will be back soon!

Great experience! Very friendly atmosphere and when I asked to have my toenails trimmed extra short Tie (spelling?)not only trimmed them short but did an excellent job. Perfect! Plus, he was a very nice man. Very friendly. The price was reasonable and I will definitely be back in again!

I have recently started coming here because my first visit was a good experience. However it has gone drastically downhill from there. I came in for a fill in and waited 30 minutes. Once they saw what I wanted they kept telling me very high prices which I think was to get me to leave. Their boss did my nails last time and he was not there. I was told they couldn't do the design I wanted so I happily changed it to something that would work. After all of this and over 30 minutes later already sitting in the booth with the nail tech they tell me that he has an appointment coming in 10 minutes and now won't have time to do mine until after that appointment. The lady also says she has an appointment coming too and that she cannot do my nails either. I have never been treated so rude and unprofessional! They acted very different with the manager gone compared to past visits. I will NOT ever be going back! LaAmour Nails just down the street gave me great service! I would highly recommend anyone to go there instead!

If I could give one star I would. I got my nails done yesterday they chipped and broke came in today to get fixed they denied me service and had the nerve to charge me full price for full set. They’re supposed to be professionals and make those calls about nails what’s the best choice. They suck here badly I gave a good tip with my manicure just to become a unsatisfied customer. I’d never come back!!!!!!!

LINDA is so AWESOME 😊🤩 Salon atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed as well. All the nail techs were super nice and worked together really well. I got my Nails done by Linda(I previously went to her old salon and finally found her again 😊) and Pedicure by Mr. T. Both were beyond my expectations. I love that Linda is willing to try new designs and make them something awesome. She also is the only person I know that will give me a coffins shape with short nails. Mr. T was very attentive asking if the water was fine or if the paraffin wax was too warm and adjusted to what I asked. The gel polish used was good quality as there is no lifting or peeling on my nails or toes. Overall super happy to have found this place 🤩🤩

This is literally one of my favorite places. Not nail places, but places period. Great facility, people, vibes, and I always LOVE LOVE LOVE my nails. I always leave with a happy heart along with hands and feet. Sometimes I laugh until I cry. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Absolute amazing atmosphere. Friendliest staff, Lambo and his wife were very helpful and friendly.. They have Created the cleanest, most welcoming environment in any nail salon that I have ever been in. Was an amazing experience, every client the entire time I was there was smiling and laughing!!! This is the type of environment all businesses providing a service should have!!!!! Excellent experience. Stellar customer service!! Terrific nail art!!!! Love my Halloween nails!!! Loved the entire appointment!! Definitely recommend highly

How unprofessional this business was, is simply uncalled for. I went to this nail salon to simply get a polish change. Yes, I normally go somewhere else but this was close to my home and it was a simply polish change. On the board, it simply states $18, the lady that did my nails charged me $32. I asked why, she said because it took her thrifty minutes to get my original gel polish off. She then calls me "rude, get out, don't ever come back in here." I was always willing to pay this amount, I just wanted clarification on the prize. To be this rude about a simple question, is uncalled for and completely unprofessional. Unfortunately I was unable to get the employee name but she does sit next to the checkout register. I would never go here again and I encourage anyone else to not go either.

I came into this solan today to get a nail take off from a bad experience I had at expert nails solan & spa. I asked for a nail take off & they told me it would be 15 or I can get a gel manicure for 45 . I let them know I had a big crack in the middle of my pinky that I wanted to heal up before I did anything else with my nails so I wanted to wait for the gel manicure and just get my nails taken off . Well when I was done they told me it was 30 dollars , 15 dollars for take off at 15 dollars for a clean up which I never asked them for. You would think with the bad experience I had told them about at the other nail solan about them over charging & the bad quality of work they would have been better sadly they did the same thing the other nail solan did . Which was charge me for things I didn’t ask for . I was planning to return after my nail healed up but I will never go back. People are just grimy, they wouldn’t wanna be overcharged or paying for things they didn’t ask for when they get their nails done so why would you do that to other people? I just really have to be a bad person doing things like this. Not to mention how horrible my nails look .

I love my nails. Both guy that serviced my pedi and mani were so very nice. They did over the top of what i expected. Other salons left me in pain and disappoint. I would recommend this place to anyone. Ill be back. The halloween nail art was on point.

Overpriced, I had a what they called a deluxe pedicure but my feet are still rough and I religiously have them done every month so i came here cause it’s convenient but I will not come back I don’t care I will drive out the way first and far as the acrylic design they have zero although it states on the door they do I asked about one I had picked out like I always do but they said no can’t do so I picked out a simple one still no they can’t do . So this was lace definitely needs a overhaul of friendliness and staying up to date with current looks.

Very sad how these people try and take your money. They are not one bit Interested in customer satisfaction. We had a nail salon for 18 years trust me when I say I don’t recommend this place. This is my second time visiting them because I wanted to give them a chance and now for sure I’ll never go back.

Went to have a pedicure today 5/28/2022 I got a regular pedicure with shellac. My friend also got a regular pedicure with regular polish. We left and had to come back bc one of my toes was missing the shellac polish and 2 of her big toes got messed up when we left. Knowing accidents occur with regular polish and sometimes gel polish we came back to have them fixed as I just spent $51 and she $34. We were shamed and lectured in front of the entire business by Trina (owner). She stated they don’t have to fix regular polish only shellac. While consistently shaming and lecturing us for a good 10 minutes on you have to be careful with regular polish. In addition she would speak in her language (obviously about us) to the other employees. She also kept saying it’s not her fault. She was never blamed for it, accidents with polish happen all the time. It was embarrassing for us to be treated like little kids who did something bad. I used to love this Salon and now I’ll never be back. In addition my friends pedicure was rushed. They lack communication and politeness.

Went today as usually with a friend we loved the place. I got regular and friend got gel. Was rush quickly not done well but look good. Sat there an hr at lease letting friend get done. We Both left went next door to tan. Notice both big toes were mess up mind u I tan ever time after never issue. Friend notice gel missing on toe. Went back was spoken to rudely ask come Back later when we couldn’t we We’re basically shamed out loud in front of a full place. Trina talking in her language to workers y looking at us. Trina tried saying my fault usually don’t fix it since it’s regular. She yelled at the girl that did friends toes. We explained accidents happen and she kept on. Waited 30 mins still being talk to like it was our fault. My friend paid way extra to have certain pattern done. Lady next to me was asking Trina not to cut no shorter and be carful she’s tickles. Got mad when she jerk. Lady across from me was cut very bad and told her ur fault ur skin thin. Still while lecturing us.

Worst experience I’ve had in my entire 20 years of life. I asked her to do an evil eye on my finger, she said she didn’t know how. I asked her to do a flier she said she didn’t know how. I asked her to do a number she said she didn’t know how. What do you know? I asked for a square shape on my nails and she gave me coffin. I ended up getting blue French tips because I was just so annoyed at this point. So she paints the blue tips, but never adds a base color?? You could see straight through my nail, down to my natural nail. So I told her to take it off, add a bass color, and then add the blue tips and she said she was gonna charge me extra for taking off the paint, started complaining to her coworkers about how she just spent an hour doing my nails and how I’m being ungrateful. (She didn’t know I could understand her language). Worst nail salon ever and on top of all this, she charged me 150! And destroyed my cuticles! They’re completely inflamed right now and it’s been a week and a half since this incident, I now only have 3 nails left on my hand. Not to mention the acrylic layout was lumpy, thick and just flat out not right. Don’t even waste your time or money here.

I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS! but this place is horrible nails fall off in a week over priced not even a week and my nail fell off every time I went I’ve been going for the past three months and same experience every time will not be going back I took my two-year-old with me to get her nails painted and they peeled off by the time we got home when she wash your hands I would not waste your money on this salon do not recommend they do not even earn one star but that’s all it would let me give

Went to get my nails popped off 20 mins before closing time and they turned me away saying they were closed. So I stood outside the business, while they had their open sign on, and popped them off myself (took 5 mins) and threw them in front of there door.. I will never go back.

While the staff was somewhat friendly my experience with my nail tech was less than desirable. The color I picked out was not the color she tried to use on me. I had to argue with her about it. The clear coat they put on my nails started coming off 2 days later. They are way over priced and I will not return.
