Beauty Personified changed my life. I’ve searched for a trichologist for years and Quintana answered the call. Her technique is amazing. I went to St. Croix and I could swim, let mr hair blow in the wind and it was perfect after a wash coming out of the ocean. I HIGHLY recommend Beauty Personified to everyone looking to change their life and finally get the right hair treatments by skilled professional. Recently relocated and went back to Tina driving over 2 hours to get my hair done. I highly recommend having Tina do you hair, I promise you’ll love it.

Finally found what I have searched for , for many years. If you have any questions at all as to whether or not to give Tina a try, I dare you to do it. You will not regret it. Tina is an amazing stylist. She is professional and patient as she answered every question , she inquired about issues that I’ve had in the past and addressed each and every one of them. She knows her stuff and is highly educated in her field. At first, I was very skeptical and concerned. Dealing with hair loss or struggles with our hair can be extremely emotional and exhausting. She put all of that to ease and the end results are amazing. My detachable sew in unit is beautiful. My self-confidence has improved and I like the person I see in that mirror. When you look better you feel better…. She has been a God send… and I look forward to having her in my corner on my hair re-growth journey.

Tina was so fantastic! I am getting a wig made from my and my sister's hair before I start chemo and had no idea about the process. She explained everything well and was able to determine the best type of wig for what I will need. Super friendly and knowledgeable. We had fun while she cut out hair for the wig and made my mold, just telling stories and laughing. 10/10 recommend 😁

When anyone is new to the Louisville area, I always recommend Beauty Personified for satisfactory service. Tina has done my hair for years. She is professional, consistent, and caring! Her salon is always clean, refreshing. peaceful, and calm. Life is busy, crazy, and fast. It's nice to sit back and relax while Tina takes care of your crown. I have been going to Tina for a little over a year and I am very pleased with her services. She custom designed a unit in the style that I requested AND on the date promised. Since my very first visit she has given me individualized attention. She has also worked around my hectic schedule to fit me in as needed. When I sit in her chair I never have to tell her what needs to be done. She just knows and goes to work doing what she does best. When she's finished I ALWAYS leave the shop looking well coiffured and confident.

In December 2014, I had all of my hair cut off in anticipation of losing it to chemo. Even after chemo and radiation, I CHOSE to remain bald. But, when the choice is taken away (due to illness, alopecia), hair loss can be quite devastating. Granted, some would say, “it’s just hair,” however, we as Black women consider our hair our “crown.” It’s one of the many things that make us unique. I’ve been a client of Tina’s for 2+ years, and thanks to her knowledge and expertise, my “crown” is always straight. I’ve literally shed tears of joy while sitting in her chair- that’s how special she makes me feel and I’m pretty certain I’m not her only client she makes feel that way.

I did a Hair Rejuvenation system in salon laser Treatments. My scalp was really dry and my hair was brittle. I had some thinning going on in the top. Within 2 weeks my scalp was not dry and my hair was not brittle. Actually I notice a big difference in my hair in all. Tina was really good in explaining the treatment and also telling you how to maintain and take care of your hair before and after treatment. I recommend this treatment if you have any of the conditions I had. I do have to say that it is a process. Thanks Tina.

I went to Tina Love because of hair loss issues. Not only was she knowledgeable but was very professional and punctual. She listened to everything I had to say, without interruptions and was very attentive. She provided pictures to show me exactly what my issues were and had several good suggestions to get my hair back to being healthy, strong and natural. I ended up getting a wig made to help while my hair is transitioning back to being natural. She did an excellent job and I love my wig and so did many others, they didn’t even realize it was a wig. I have been a client of Tina since day one, I have watched her gain knowledge and critique her craft in order to better serve her clientele. Whenever she does my hair I have always been satisfied because she is good at what she does. Over the years I have had weaves perms wigs made etc.. Most recently she customized me a lace front wig and I love it! First of all it looks so natural everyone thinks it's my hair. Every time I go to Tina love I am very pleased with my experience. My first sew in at Beauty Personified was the best!! The sew in looked very natural and I got so many compliments on it. I appreciate that she takes the time to tell me about maintenance of my scalp and to make sure I come back to take care of my real hair. I also appreciate the professionalism and I could tell she knew what she was doing from the very beginning. From my 1st visit she has been the only person I would go to whenever I need my hair professionally done. She just recently did my color and it was beautiful!! Overall, I am highly disappointed with my experience here. I spoke with Quintina over the phone to set up my appointment. It went smoothly enough. I decided to buy the hair that was advertised on Love's website requesting it to be black, 16 in and straight. The day of my appointment, which was almost a month later, she calls me to say that my weave isn't here yet and we might have to reschedule. That is simply ridiculous. I gave her the money to buy the hair well in advance. I call back later when I left work to see if the weave came in yet. It had, but it wasn't straight but a body wave.....whatever I needed to get my hair done asap so I decided to go for it. While I was on the phone with her, I decided to confirm my appointment time, she said she had to push it back 30 min. When I got to the salon she was still only halfway done with someone's head. I decided to go run some errands for an hour and she still wasn't done when I got back. When I was finally seen she braided up my hair quickly and painlessly which was nice. However, she didn't take into account my baby hair which wasn't a big deal since I can do that easily myself. Another problem rose when she started sewing my hair and I saw my weave. It was not black but a mixture of somewhat 1b and a much lighter brown. When I asked her about the color, she told me that the weave brand she buys from doesn't carry black.....I have never heard of a weave brand not carrying such a popular color as black, and even if they didn't why didn't you tell me weeks ago when I bought the weave from you. I was upset and looking back, I should of walked out right then and there. The actual sew in was nothing spectacular but it was way too much money. I've gone to quick sew in places and received the same quality, if not better for a fraction of the price. After wearing the weave for one day I knew this hair would not last for a full year that she spouts on her website. The weave shed A LOT and not just a little strand here and there but like clumps. It also was thin, had inconsistent coloring, and I noticed split ends on the second day. I spent about $300 just for the hair. I feel absolutely cheated. The women on her website have their hair together and I honestly thought I could trust Ms. Love to do the same to me. I'm just left in disbelief.
