$50 dollars to destroy my daughters hair. We have to go some where else now to pay more to have it fixed. I do not recommend this place. Terrible customer service. She was bashing my daughter's hair the whole time. She kept saying how it was too long.

Been going to Tina for over 5 years now and have never been disappointed with her services. Hair always comes out looking fabulous, whether it’s hair cut/perm or coloring. People always complement me afterwards. She’s a true gem who knows what she’s doing!

Highly highly highly recommend Beauty Secret Hair Salon! My girlfriend and I went to get a haircut plus balayage/highlights for my girlfriend. Tina did an amazing work and took great care of us. She also made sure that my girlfriend was 100% happy with her new hairstyle and color every single step of the way. My girlfriend and I had such a great experience and LOVED how everything turned out! Can’t wait for our next appointment with Tina!

Tina is great! Been her customer for over 5 years and always left happy and satisfied with my haircuts, be it a haircut, a perm or color change. My friends and family always complimented how nice my hair looks, and that’s because of Tina! Takes cash and Venmo.

Excellent service and incredible deftness and skill. Listen, I haven't had a haircut in 6 years. Shaved the Mohawk once upon a time ago in a tragic clipper incident and have grown out the mop since then. I was a veritable Cousin It, and Tina hooked me up good. I booked a same day appointment with David, will was courteous and directed me to the free parking. I was greeted warmly and even got in earlier than expected! Tina helped coach me through the lengths that I wanted, discussed layers, where we should cut, and got verification from me before cutting further than we had agreed upon. I will trust this woman with every haircut I get in Los Angeles. Bet, I'm a customer here indefinitely. I'll update with loose hair pictures later. Tina put my hair back into a better braid than I came in with and I refuse to take it out until tonight. 🤘

Terrible she did me dirty she basically ruined my hair and I had to pay her 50 bucks even though she cut my hair bad and she kept complaining about how my hair is too long too much and kept laughing and then she made me stand so she could Supposedly cut my hair right because if I standing whatever and she was a little too close to my chest and would make me uncomfortable trust me when I say she did a bad job and the salon looks very different than the pictures show just don't go

Found this place online after calling all around town and getting no response or return calls. David who answered was nice and courteous and went into detail to see what it was I was looking for, and to see if it would be a right fit for me to visit their salon. He made a next day appointment with me ( which accommodated my schedule) so they could view my hair length etc. I am so glad I made that appointment as they discussed everything pertaining to what I was looking for, and they did my hair the same day. I enjoyed their professionalism and was impressed they were so knowledgeable and thorough with after care instructions. They made me feel so welcome and that I was not just another customer coming through. I definitely will be back to visit their salon for all my hair care needs!! My hair is amazing and I love it. Happy hair here!!!

I got my hair cut here and I must admit I really didn't think this was a good choice BUT, ! I got the Best Cut and Style Ever ! I LOVE IT ! ❤ REALLY ! IT CAME OUT FANTASTIC ! ( P.S. I VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT MY HAIR. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS.

Tina gave me a great haircut. We discussed the cut, layering, and length in depth and she made sure she followed my directions carefully (she cut a half or quarter inch at a time to make sure if I wanted it shorter, etc). She showed me pictures of what the cut would look like, the length, thickness of layers, etc - to ensure she understood what I was conveying (I had a picture as well of the style I wanted). I'm happy with the cut and it was far cheaper than the pricier salons. The place doesn't look fancy, but you will get a good haircut. A definite recommend.

I called Tina, the owner of the salon to ask if it was okay to film my haircut and she whole heartedly agreed. Thence I arrived after getting cash because she doesn't accept credit cards. After arriving Tina asked me to film and told me that she would help me get subscribers for my YouTube channel. She boasted about her 20 years experience and looked into the camera to show off her skills and proceeded to teach how she cuts hair using scissors vs. cutter etc... I sat there patiently listening to her go on and on and how marijuana was a dangerous drug and that she doesn't smoke or drink, However as I sat next to her I could see her tobacco stained teeth and smell of tobacco. Me being an ex smoker made me cringe on how someone can blatantly lie and especially on camera. After my so-so haircut of $25, I was nice to give her a $10 tip. So I spent $35 total. By the way I didn't notice her cosmetology license posted anywhere. After I left she called me to harass me about removing the video of my haircut which I did. I learned never to go again to this terrible lady and even if she consented to being filmed on the phone and on camera. Her excuse was that her husband didn't like it, what a surprise because she told me that she had gone on a blind date with a crazy guy. My first haircut experience from hell!!! Don't go unless you want to hear Tina brag and talk about herself!

I love Tina! She gives a full service grooming experience. As a man, I'm used to just the basics, but Tina does it all; shaves my unibrow, trims my eye brows, cleans my beard up, and then goes back and washes my hair. She's definitely a perfectionist. And the price is a real steal for what you get.

Love the services and Tina’s attention. Called today to have my hair flat iron during my lunch break, and they were waiting and ready to start with me! Wash, blow dry and flat iron in 30 minutes and I loves it! She even trim my ends at no additional cost. Strongly recommended ❤️❤️

Don't ever trust this hair salon. The pictures on their site is a misleading advertisement. I made an appointment with the owner of the hair salon on Saturday 10/21/2017. I wanted to have a hairstyle as shown on one of the pictures posted on the secret hair salon site, but keep the same length. The owner of Secret Hair Salon told me that she could make my hair style look even better than the picture. That she would make my hair fuller with volume, and give me layers, but instead she began by parting my hair then started chopping close from the root to the end, which made it look uneven when she finished. I was surprised of how awful it turned out. It was a horrible cutting technique she used on my hair. My hair looks thin on the end now not fuller. I feel very disappointed. I requested her to make my hair tail looks thicker. Instead of trimming my ends, she chopped my hair straight flat. I feel like she used my hair to practice and not a professional and no experience. I felt so sad now since It took me so long for my hairs to grow. I have to spend almost $400 for a fake long hairs now I feel deceive since what is advertised is totally different from what she did. It is not only her weak technical skills but also the way I was fooled from the advertisement. I can assume that those 20 ( 2 bad reviews including me) five star reviews were from her family members or from her closed friends not really from customers. Since I cannot post photo of my new hair here, please check the photos of my new hair on my profile and compare with the sample picture on the Secret Hair Salon that I requested to have my hair in the same style. Please aware my original hair were very smooth, straight and in a very good shape Also, aware that all most photos that are displayed on Secret Hair Salon are not from their work but from other websites.

Really nice person but my hair was cut much shorter than I wanted and my bangs are terrible!! They are always in my eyes & there's way too much bangs. I even needed a bobby pin to pay her because my hair kept falling in my eyes. It was a really bad cut and I left feeling quite sad. I agree with the previous person, I felt like there was poor technique & very rushed.
