Man I had such an upsetting experience here. I went in for a simple lash lift, and a few days prior to my appointment they sent me a consent form + medical questionnaire, which I didn’t feel comfortable filling out so I skipped the medical portion. When I arrived to my appointment I was urged to fill out the medical portion again, so I filled it out there on the spot. I was then subjected to being grilled by my lash tech about why I was taking the medications I take. The lash tech had all sorts of misconceptions about my medication, and I really don’t know why it was any of her business that I’m on SSRI’s, nor why she felt it was appropriate to dig further into my reasoning for needing that medication. She should have just provided a list of contraindicated medications if she’s so worried. I left the appointment feeling hugely violated, and my lash lift looked like garbage. It was really horrible actually, literally only one side curled I had to have another lash tech at another salon fix it the next week. Anyway, I hope you take advice and change your practices to respect peoples’ privacy.

I've been getting my hair and lashes done by Tamara at Beauty Theory for years, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The precision and attention to detail demonstrated during the cut, color, and styling were outstanding. My hair has never looked better! Not only did I leave with a fantastic new look, but I also left feeling confident and rejuvenated. The salon's ambiance was delightful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Erin Schloff is amazing! I’ve been seeing her for over a year, and she has taken my hair from a challenging cut to maintain (short and edgy) to something feminine, flowing, easy, and grows out beautifully. I’ve had a challenging wave in my hair for a long time and never knew how to deal with it or what products to use until Erin. She taught me how to take my hair from frizzy and problematic cow-lick waves to stunning curls and waves. AND my hair takes less time and effort to do now than it ever has before! The maintenance has gone way down, yet it looks better than ever. She’s easy to work with, friendly, and does fantastic work. The shop is clean, bright, and has a great vibe. Highly suggest her for any of your seattle haircut needs. I travel from west seattle “island” to come to her, because the 40+ minute commute is absolutely worth it.

Tamara is amazing! Her cut and colors are the best! Besides that, her salon is exquisite. She has amazing jewelry and other accessories. She will make you feel right at home. I highly recommend.

Tamara has transformed my life! Not only is she amazing and professional; she is an extremely kind person. I have seen Tamara for many years. The quality she provides and the skills she possesses with her lash technique (and hair) should not be ignored. Tamara has used a blend of mink and synthetic on my lashes. No matter what she does I always look better walking out of the salon than I did walking in. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Tamara!
