Dianne truly unlocked my hair’s most beautiful state. Knowledgeable, caring, and attentive are just some of the words to describe her during my touch up relaxer service. Finding Dianne was such a blessing! Her professionalism put me at ease as she made suggestions on hair treatments and styles that would be realistic for my lifestyle. Throughout my entire appointment I asked so many questions since I know very little about caring for my own hair and have struggled my entire life. I went to se Dianne for a virgin relaxer and I could not be HAPPIER. Dianne is very hospitable and skilled at what she does! She made me feel so comfortable and welcomed! I was so nervous about my first relaxer but she made the process so fun! I am so glad I found her and will continue to book with her. My only regret is that I didn't go to her sooner! Her hair game is unmatched; If your on the fence about booking her, let this be a sign and DO IT! Her hair game skill is on a thousand!!!

My family and I travel full time. So, it is sometimes a challenge to find quality hair stylists.Who are knowledgeable about hair growth and hair care. I brought in a photo of the style and cut I wanted. I am extremely pleased with my results. I previously wore braids as a protective style for 1 year due traveling. So my hair needed a lot of TLC. I am so happy with my results. I would definitely recommend Dianne to anyone looking for a quality hair stylist. Who provides an awesome service in a friendly, professional and relaxing environment. I am absolutely, so glad that I found Dianne! I have been going to her for a year now, with 3c natural hair and she has really taken great care of my hair. It is more healthier now than ever. I have been getting coloring, treatment, and silk press services. She is the only stylist that has only used flat irons on my hair during a a silk press, whereas I have had issues and damage from others using more heating and straightening methods and tools! She is the only one I allow to touch my hair now, she's very knowledgeable, and cares about the health of your hair first. Today, I recieved a relaxer from being natural for over 6 years and with bleached color all over and it turned out AMAZING!! No damage or shedding!! She prepped me and my hair beforehand, adding treatment and schooling me on the risks. I trusted her and her work and she definitely came through!!! Thank you so much Dianne!!

I have been to Dianne twice now. Once for a silk press/cut and the second time for a virgin relaxer. She has been wonderful!!! She did an amazing job on the silk press but realized I needed a more permanent solution. Left the salon today feeling brand new. My hair had a nice sheen, movement and layers just to suit my taste. If you're considering, the consultation was a huge help in making my decision to move forward. Thanks again Dianne!!!!

I reached out to Dianne in dire need of getting my hair done while in San Diego for an event; I am visiting from out of town. After letting her know I was looking for a silk press, she was able to work me into her schedule. I am used to getting Dominican blowouts, but I decided to go with the silk press after seeing the pictures posted. I was highly impressed with the magic she worked on my hair. My hair not only came out lightweight and soft, but it looks so much better than when I get a blowout. I absolutely love my hair. As one who was in the military and was stationed all over, finding the right hair stylist was always an issue. If you are military and looking for a hair home, I highly recommend Dianne’s BeautyTyme Hair Studio. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in the right place. Aside from being very down to earth and friendly, I could tell right away that she takes a lot of pride in her work. I am so glad I found her, especially since I am an an out of town visitor.

I was worried the hairstyle wasn’t going to fit my face, at the end of it though she managed to match the picture in my brain to a T. My silk press always comes out so soft every time I come visit Dianne! If you never had a silk press before you need to book her. She takes her time no rushing and informs my on how to take care of my hair according to my hair type too. Always a great time seeing her and enjoy her company. :)

I love Diane Todman! She is the best hairstylist in San Diego…hands down. She really cares about the health of my natural hair. Today I received a two process hair that is fabulous! Diane started our first appointment with the end in mind. She asked me my hair goals and I explained that I wanted my hair colored, eventually. So she evaluated my hair and treated it the past couple of months to get me today. My hair is healthy, strong, and has beautiful depth of color.

I came for a relaxer retouch and had a very pleasant experience. Dianne was very knowledgeable about haircare, gave me great tips on what products to use and practices to incorporate into my routine (and what to stop doing or cut down on) if I want to keep my hair healthy and flourishing, and used great high quality products. The atmosphere was wonderful and they take COVID-19 safety measures VERY seriously. I felt very safe secure and at ease while I was there and left with a beautiful, flowing, shiny hair (I also got a cut that gave my hair so much movement I couldn't stop looking at it). The relaxer didn't leave my head tender like I usually am and I highly recommend going to Dianne for any haircare service.

I have to start off by saying that I have never been to a hair salon my whole life, but I finally had to go somewhere because my hair was so damaged. I spent months trying to find the right stylist for my textured hair. I came across her business and let me just say she does not disappoint. Ms. Dianne took her time with my consultation explaining the damage that been done, but with her optimistic attitude she quickly made me believe my hair had a real chance. She took my hair dull to life! She did treatment, a hair mask, shampoo and conditioner and also styled it. I have NEVER seen my hair so good before. I can honestly say that she makes wonders happen. She literally is so talented with 20years under her belt of experience, she is so kind and makes you feel so welcomed and her attitude is so uplifting you seriously walk out of there wanting to live your best life. I have to say when a stylist can do all that and still have more in store for you she is definitely a keeper. Look no further, this is the place to go!

I was very satisfied with our service here with Ms. Dianne. She did a great job on my girls hair. The response and set up time for appointment was quick and easy. I was very grateful as it's been hard to communicate with some places during this time. She responded and was able to determine our needs over the phone. Her studio was easy to find, clean and peaceful. She took time to explain some good care techniques to my girls who are early teens and learning to be more independent in their hair care. She did a relaxer and trim, and a treatment and cut on the other and bothb looked amazing and were very happy ladies after. We'll be back again!
