I honestly had neglected my hair by putting most others needs before my own & as a mother of 4 boys…that had been quite easy to do! I committed to finding a beautician who specialized in locs & whom was known for caring for the beauty AND the strength of their clients hair! I found that and MORE in Vee! Her location was clean and well set up…and she was absolutely professional & prompt! 🙏🏾 There was no double booking, no distracted service and she was thankfully understanding in terms of allowing my 2 sons to create a little area for themselves to quietly partake in their own activities while I got my hair done (due to the fact that they are homeschooled!) I received a detox, take down and an install of faux locs and on top of all that a soothing oil application and massage! Highly recommend!!!

IMMEDIATELY NO. you have the wrong person. All what you said (about my hair at my appointment - was not me). and I went to you ONCE. That would be absurd of me to go again if I had already tripped about the first visit. Like make it make sense Jesus. But that being said, I did appreciate your time. no doubt you are gifted. just took me by surprise. its all good. -Stef ----- hairstylist is nice but I think she took advantage of me or is she really that expensive? or hell, am I cheap?? I think she saw a Latina w dreads and maybe thought I didn't know any better? I paid $275.00 for an hour and 15 minutes of maintenance, time is not the issue here. I only have 14 locs and they are no longer then the length of my ears, & the sides of my head is SHAVED and I also have an undercut. I hop around alllllll over Austin for my hair appointments, and they all have been priced pretty reasonable for 14 locs and short locs at that. I'm just curious how much would it had been with a head full of hair or w/ really long hair?? My grandma started my loc journey earlier this year, she helps w maintenance too but shes been in the motherland for the last few months. She has given us (grandkids) dreads, theres currently 7 of us w dreads rn, I'm just saying, its not my first dread having rodeo, as I've had dreads once before as as a kid. Anyways, I left the appointment w/ really tight dreads - - which was nice BUT frizzy & loose roots, and overall just flabbergasted, really. Her shop is in a fenced lot with a house and a bunch of vehicles, I drove passed her shop (house) for 15 minutes before realizing, I was sooo annoyed. The lot was a bit sketch but I went in anyway, her salon (livingroom) was cute, spacious and clean, she plays a movie while she's doing hair. All I suggest is the business sign needs to be blown up little bigger and placed visible on the fence not on the floor, so dummies like me won't drive back and forth looking for the place.

My first time going to her shop. She is cool people and know her knowledge about hair. She gave me options on oils and whet I should do. Best experience 10/10

I’m just starting out my dreds I’ve been to a couple of Loctitians and the best service I’ve had has been at beautyvees it was spacious no one sitting right next you I had her undivided attention the whole time she was professional and classy and educated me on the dreadlock process so glad I found her.

Highly recommended. I booked my appointment with the stylist and it was right on schedule. Have done my hair at a salon before and I tried beauty bee’s and was satisfied with the work and I look good and feel good.

My fiancé is half white half Mexican so has straight hair. His hair was about shoulder length when he first got his dreadlocks and she did an amazing job!! he goes every few months for interlocking and she is always professional and friendly! Not to mention VERY clean Salon. I highly recommend Beauty Vee for your Dredlocks or interlocking needs!

This is the place to be for dreads and braids . my husband went to get it dread re twist when he came home I called her immediately and got a appointment for my braids . The Prices are great the service was great. We have found our hair stylist . if you are looking for great service and a great price Beautyvee's is the place .

Great customer service. Great work for a good price. What usually takes 3.5 to 4 hrs only took 3. Got a braided style afterwards and a week later I didn't even feel the braids. She's my new go to.

She does excellent work. I don’t trust anyone with my hair but I know it’s safe in her hands. You’ll get out of her chair confidence of your hair being healthy, having style, and just feeling like a new person. I almost forgot to mention her prices are very good also, but do my best to tip her every time I this “dread doctor”.
