Fantastic skilled stylists in a fun and beautiful atmosphere. Went there for over a decade. Some stylists book up couple months in advance, because they are excellent and well worth it! However since ownership changed, BEWARE the front desk. They ask for favors in scheduling, which I happily accommodated twice with flexibility, but in both cases the booking time they told me was not what they scheduled with the stylist. And they said I was late or early.. They do not even stick to their own 30 minute reply policy on response times for booking off the waitlist. Front desk is all about servicing themselves, not clients, at worst. Or cannot do the math needed to manage time blocks in schedulimg at best.

Cierra has cut my hair three times and it has always been PERFECT! My most recent haircut she made a suggestion to go a bit shorter than the reference photos and I trusted her and I’m so thrilled with the results! This is hands down one of the best haircuts of my life!!! Also the salon is gorgeous and spacious and has very relaxing vibes.

I had Melina and she did a great job. I went in for partial highlights and a haircut. I am not a frequent patron of salons so I was unfamiliar with a lot of the stuff I was asking for beyond what picture I was using as reference. She talked me through it and made sure I was getting what I wanted. Will definitely be going back.

I've received two haircuts from Cierra and they were both phenomenal! As someone with curly hair, and a string of bad hair salon experiences, its always exciting to meet a hairdresser who knows what they are doing. Cierra reviewed my reference pictures in detail, asked me if I preferred a dry cut or wet cut, and explained her process before beginning. I like to sport a short haircut most of the time, which is a risk with curly hair. Each haircut was perfectly executed and I always left the salon feeling confident and happy. Cierra really understands how to shape and style curly hair. I definitely recommend getting a curly cut from her!

I’m picky and my Hair was not cut to compliment the way it lays. Only experienced hairdressers do it right. Still searching for my good fit since I lost my hairdresser of 15 years. This is a great place for new cosmetologist to get their training. They only sell Aveda products. If you’re not picky, it’s a great place.

Love this salon. Definitely recommend. My hair is not easy to work with (fine hair but lots of it, wavy curls..). I have only found a few stylists over the years that can make it look great without any product and two of them are at Beehive (Cierra and Amy). I have also had color/highlights done by both of them and these were also amazing. So grateful that I found such a great salon right here in West Seattle!

The salon is a beautiful, light-filled space that is airy and inviting. The offers of water or tea upon entering is a nice touch. The professionals who work there are friendly but focused. Cierra, who cuts my hair is the best stylist I’ve ever worked with. She really listens to me and is able to implement what I have in mind. She doesn’t try to impose her ideas on me but she makes gentle suggestions for my consideration before she begins cutting. I highly recommend the salon and Cierra in particular.

Amy was amazing! I went there to get a hair cut and treatment for my deeply damaged hair. She was so nice and made me feel comfortable the entire time. It was nice to get to know her and I look forward to coming back in the future to a nice place that offers Aveda products which I love! Thanks again Amy!❤

I love getting my hair cut by Clarize at Beehive West Seattle! She listens to me, understands the texture of my hair, helps me make informed decisions (like do I want bangs in the summer time? Consider XYZ), and doesn’t make me feel embarrassed or ashamed about my low-maintenance attitude toward beauty. She makes me feel welcome, and I walk out of there looking pretty. Highly recommend her and the salon overall, which is pleasant and in a great location near The Junction.

It was my first time at Beehive but most definitely not the last! Cierra did a wonderful job on my hair. I really appreciate how gently she treated my thin hair and sensitive scalp. Love the pampering and the services at Beehive Salon - I have been going here for over 5 years. Since they use Aveda products, you know the products are safe. I get so many compliments on my hair cut on my color. I love going to get my hair cut, it is a special treat and during non Covid - the tea that you get with your hair cut is amazing!

Ciara (spelling?) did my hair. She did a fantastic job too. She listened to what I told her I wanted, was very thoughtful in her approach and did not disappoint! Can’t wait to go back in 7 weeks but you should get in while you can. She will be impossible to book in no time, I can tell.

Lauren Little does an amazing job as a colorist and stylist. She’s experienced and very good at understanding what you want and if you’re open to it, suggesting color & styles that would work best for you. I trust her 100% with my hair. The salon is cute and spacious. They take extra care with cleaning and sanitizing. Everyone wears a mask and they limit the number of people. Great place with great professionals.
