First time here, and it was a pleasure. I was initially dreading to sit in a salon for hours amongst other reasons but, Mrs. Jackie didn’t make me wait and was very sweet and attentive to my concerns, she made sure I was taken care of and honest with her recommendations. She made me feel heard and that’s very important with clientele. Her advice seemed genuine and that goes a long way. Loved that treatment and specially her scalp massage was a bonus!

Well, this was my first time visiting and it will be my last. The lady who did my hair essentially heated my hair to exhaustion in most parts. When I told her a method to untangle my hair (use a pick and start from the ends and continue to the roots) while blow drying it, she said "okay" and still did the opposite (started at the roots to the end with a comb with small teeth), damaging my hair in the process. The way she blow dried my hair felt very wrong. She combed a part of my strands, and placed the dryer on that part for almost a minute, and then went to a further section of those same strands. This went on for my entire hair. And that blow dryer felt extremely hot; it burnt my ear the instant it blown on it. On top of that, while she's blow drying my hair, I wasn't feeling very comfortable at all while her child was pestering her, grabbing hold of my chair. I'm getting burnt on the ear and scalp while this was all happening. I literally had to tell her that i don't feel comfortable, because she just thought this was okay to let happen. Overall, I just felt horrible that such a place would do that to s costumer. My hair only looked okay for a day, but the damages became clear as day within a few hours. This was the worst

Belgica and Kenya have been my go for a while, and I always get such an amazing service. I always get my relaxer, color, wash/ set, and a haircut. A complementary coffee while drying, the best!. I do highly recommend it, and the price is $$ it's worthwhile!

I arrived as a Walk-in. I waited about 1 hour and maybe 20min to get a wash. The lady that was washing my hair has extremely long nails and was scraping my scalp. I had to ask her not to use her nails so roughly since I have a sensitive scalp. Then I waited another 15-20min for one of the ladies to begin on my hair. All I was asked for was to blow-dry my hair. The lady was nice but she was using way too much heat on certain areas and my scalp was extra sensitive from the harsh wash. I did bring my own products although you don't have to. Overall, my hair was done nice. It's also pricier than my NY spot.

Kenya did such an amazing job. I received a wash & set and of course she finished with a flat iron/blow dry. I also got a haircut. There was no yanking my head, burning my scalp and she was extremely gentle. We had a great conversation too while she was doing my hair. I will come back and see her again. I have 3C/4A hair and it’s held up in the humidity and light rain with no issues. Thanks kenya!

I came in for a silk press and got a Dominican Blowout! OMG! My hair was so silky and full of body. I had heard....but there is nothing like seeing it for yourself. The owner did my hair and had tons of suggestions and great advice for taking my look to the next level all within my budget! I'm a customer for life!

I have natural hair and been going here for 3-4yrs and never had a problem with them doing a simple deep condition until recently after I got my hair done I realized after my appointment was finished the lady that did my hair put relaxer in it and now half my head is straight 😤🤬 if she’s not able to cater to all hair types she could’ve just simply said that instead of taking the lazy way out by relaxing my hair to make it more manageable especially when I wasn’t even aware of it. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend if you have natural kinky hair 💯

My first time visiting the salon. Looking for a salon thru Google. Reviews were l mostly good. Got there asked for Belgica (owner) waited for her to get there. Very pleasant. Place is nice n clean. Was offered coffee. Showed her a picture from Pinterest, a short hair style. And she did what I asked. Very friendly. Recommend highly. Will be returning.

I gave this salon 2 stars because they Do know how to do hair BUT NEVER EVER EVER on time sometimes wait up to 2 to 3 hrs because she doesn't do appointments. It's frustrating. I can't rely on a time she does tell me too come because I will sit for hours until being seen. If you have all day to do nothing but WAIT just for a haircut, this is the place for you. Tiday, I waited for over 2 hours and had to leave. Ended up a waste of time, even though She told me too be there by 1030am (which I was). Even though love them here as far as cuts but I will have to find another salon more reliable and considerate with time.

Is my first time here. Loved the lady that did my hair. My bad I forgot to ask her name. But she is the lady next to the hair dryers. She was all the time concerned of my comfort and I really liked that. Es mi primera vez aquí. Me encantó, la señora que seco mi pelo. Una pena olvidé preguntarle su nombre, pero es la que está justo al lado de las secadoras de pelo. Estuvo todo el tiempo pendiente de mi comodidad(está el agua muy fría? Te estoy quemando?) y eso me gusto mucho.
