I've been seeing Marley Fields for several years to cut my hair for donation. She does a great job with my type 2b/c and I am so grateful to have found her. The salon has a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. I can't recommend Marley and Belle Epoque enough!

Marley Fields saved my hair. I came in because a Matt had formed in my hair. I was embarrassed and a little scared of having it fixed. Marley was so kind and focused on finding a solution that worked for me. We ended up deciding to cut it all off and give me a whole new look. Marley is an amazing stylist, and has giving me a new look that I love and gives me my confidence back. She truly is the Best in KC!

As a extremely particular person about my hair, My hairstylist Hannah really took the time to let me show my reference photos, explained to me my length of hair and how it could be shaped, made suggestions based on my own hair texture against my ideal cut and how it would look after, and overall just handled the process very well. I haven't been this pleased with a haircut in a long time. If your looking for a good stylist that cares about what you want, this is your gal.

Hand's down an amazing place. The gentleman at the front desk is the kindest soul I have met. It's always a pleasure interacting with him. Also, the whole place it just pleasant. How I found Belle Epoque: My friend and I were trying to get haircuts together on a whim without any expectation that it would happen. So many places didn't even answer our call. Belle Epoque not only answered the call, they somehow managed to get us in! We had the the total fortune of getting Hannah for our stylist. She is intuitive, careful, gentle, and talented. I recommend her to all my friends.

I just got Keratin treatment done with Chel and she never fails to amaze me every time I see her. I feel like my hair is in safe hands when with her and I leave the place only with a lot of gratitude. Chel is very detail oriented and really invests in your hair goals and makes sure you are happy. I would totally recommend giving her a chance and I am sure you would never look back, which is what I did! I’m super happy with the service, thank you Chel.

Adrienne is my hairstylist and she is incredible at what she does! I have very thick wavy hair that is not easy to tame. Adrienne always walks me through every step of the process and educates me on proper care and product. The salon itself is beautiful in a great location downtown and has a wonderful vibe! This is one of the best salons in Kansas City!

The stylist didn't listen to anything I told her. I told her I DIDN'T want a stacked Bob..I told her I wanted my hair just above shoulder length. I'm so frustrated I just want to cry! I'm going on vacation in two weeks and all my photos are just ruined! She took me to a hairstyle I had 10 plus years ago that doesn't fit my style anymore and I specifically said I do not want! This was the first time I've used a new stylist in 18 years any only did because I moved.. uggh at this point I wish I would've drove 3 hours for a hair cut! I tried to like it at the salon but now that I've had a chance to do my hair myself I can truly see how short it is and it makes me sick. How could she get it so wrong? Before pic is on the left after is on the right. She cut a good 4 inches off my hair when I wanted no more than 2!

Rusty is hands down the best hairstylist I have ever had. He goes out of his way to create a hairstyle that works best for your hair. He takes his time and makes sure the cut and color are perfect. Luther has amazing customer service. Every time I go I am offered a variety of beverages and candy. The only think I could want is that they were closer to home.

If you go here, Katie Bobbitt did the most amazing job on my hair that I’ve ever had done! I had highlights and a trim done but I also tried doing balayage for the first time. She really takes her time and is very detailed about every piece of hair! I was her only client which I’m not used to when I go to get my hair done. I’m used to being squeezed in around other customers. Sitting off to the side while my highlights process while the hair stylist might squeeze in a few cuts. Not with Katie though. I was pampered and given delicious coffee and she makes a real good cup of coffee! She spent so much time on me and it ended up looking so perfect! She has quite an artistic eye and will help you understand what could make it look it’s best between the way it gets cut or colored. She is very knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone!

Adrienne is a true genius when it comes to everything related to hair! Very personable and listens to what her clients want then makes it come true. I have had several stylists here and every single one is amazing! This salon is like that perfect pair of blue jeans - once you experience Belle Epoque, you won't want to go anywhere else.

Great experience. First timer at Belle Époque and the entire staff was so welcoming. I was greeted by Luther who was friendly and accommodating. Rusty handled my perm — also a first for me — and I knew right away I was in great hands. They also offer beverages and chocolates to make the experience even more relaxing. Highly recommend!

I called at 7:05pm (they close at 8pm) on the off chance that they might be able to help a girl out with a dire situation. I am only in town for the week and needed a blow out badly before some big work meetings tomorrow. They got me in straight away! On top of that, they were all so friendly. Luther was extremely pleasant and welcoming, and Jamie - my stylist - was a blast to chat with. She was quick, efficient, and got the job done before they closed. But she didn’t skimp. Some stylists don’t wash the back/under side of your hair at the shampoo bowl- but Jamie was super thorough and got me nice and clean, and then took her time blowing my hair out properly. I would definitely recommend this place and if I come back to town I’ll be booking with Jamie again!

Jami is fantastic. Really listened and sought to understand what I wanted, then kept checking in with me with her thoughts as she worked on my idea to really alter my style. I went to an assymetric bob with an undercut after having had a sheer side fade style for almost a year! I really love it. Thanks much!

I have been searching for a hairdresser to establish as my "go-to" person, and after multiple attempts at various shops around the city, I have finally found the right fit. Everyone at Belle Epoque is super personable and professional. I never feel rushed and always come out feeling like my wishes have been granted. Katie has transformed my long thick hair with beautiful balayage highlights. She has given me the color I've been longing for while taking steps to ensure my hair stays healthy.
