Crystal is awesome! After 2+ years of not getting my hair cut professionally due to a negative experience with a stylist who cut off over a foot of long, curly hair growth, I was super relieved to find Crystal! Crystal addressed all of my concerns and suggested flattering trims that would preserve my length while accounting for hair shrinkage, cut off damage, and flatter my face shape. From the cut to the blow out, all of the work she's done on my hair has garnered compliments! Crystal even gave me bangs last cut, and the compliments keep coming! All in all, finding Crystal has been a dream for someone with wavy-curly hair that has struggled to find a stylist capable of giving me a cut that can be styled both naturally and blown out.

Crystal has been an amazing stylist. She is thorough and knowledgeable about black hair. She had been doing my tape-in extensions for the past 5 months and I could have more please at the results. She installed my extensions perfectly for my bridal stylist in California. Crystal cares about how you feel when in her chair. I am always excited for my next appointment with her.

I had a hard time finding a stylist in the area who specializes in natural-looking sew-ins and promotes healthy hair care, but I’m so glad I found Crystal. She is professional, kind, and thorough, delivering flawless styles every time. My natural hair is healthy and thick, and my sew-in looks exactly as I requested. I’m so grateful to have Crystal as my stylist for the past year! When I first visited her, my hair was heat damaged, but she worked wonders with protective styling, trims, and deep conditioning. I love that my sessions are private and not shared with her juggling multiple clients, so my visits are always within a reasonable time. Thanks to her care, my hair has grown 9 inches and is the healthiest that it's been in 10 years. Crystal truly listens to my ideas and gives perfect advice for trying new styles. The style I received for my wedding did not meet my expectations at all. I was devastated—I cried and cried, but nothing could be done to fix it. I paid $300 for the hair itself, and spent a total of $600 on a sew-in that was a complete failure. The hair was unruly, didn’t blend, and I ended up having to pay again for a wig just to cover my head for my wedding day. Essentially, I paid $600 for a braid-down, and the hair went straight to the trash. It’s clear that the stylist is unskilled in this area, and that’s fine, but it’s unacceptable to take people’s money knowing you can’t provide a style where the hair blends. As soon as the hair got wet, it became completely unmanageable. Lesson learned: if you have any issues with your hair, don’t expect a refund or any attempt to resolve the situation. If you need extensions, this is definitely not the right place. When I tried to discuss the problem, I felt personally attacked instead of supported. Honestly, I’d rather let her keep the money and scam me than deal with such an unprofessional attitude. My biggest regret of my wedding is trusting her with my hair and not feeling beautiful on my special day.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent silk press appointment with Crystal! I arrived early, and she was punctual too, which is a big deal for me since I'm very busy and value my time and others' time. She addressed my concerns with my hair, wasn't judgmental, provided product recommendations, and was very understanding. She was gentle with my natural hair, didn't rip through it when detangling and blow-drying like other stylists I've been to. The vibes in her salon were good, and she made me feel at ease. We discussed my hair goals and how to start a healthy hair journey. When it came to cutting my hair, she showed me where she recommended it be cut, asked me what I was comfortable with in terms of length, and stuck to that. She didn’t just start chopping hair off, which I really appreciated. She explained where there are areas in my hair that needed extra attention, but since I wasn’t comfortable completely cutting it all off, she made sure my cut was the length I wanted it and explained that with regular trims over the next several weeks that we could arrive at an even cut with healthy hair. The final result of my silk press was absolutely stunning. I've been to other stylists in my area, but I've never loved the result as much as I did when I went to her. I have very fine, dry, porous hair that lacks luster. When I left her chair, my hair was bouncy, shiny, healthy-looking, and had good weight to it. I will definitely be coming back!

I took my stepdaughter Sophia to Crystal to get her hair done for her junior prom. I was a little nervous because Sophia has never had her hair done professionally. She has beautiful hair but it was damaged from her bleaching her own hair and not caring for it properly. Then using black dye to cover the bleach. Crystal was professional from beginning to end. She stayed in constant communication and was always very responsive. She explained everything to Sophia and I and got permission before cutting Sophia’s hair. She made Sophia’s first salon experience a positive experience. Her salon suite is intimate and cozy with plenty parking spaces. I appreciate that it is a private space with just enough room for the client so people aren’t listening in on your conversations and seeing you at your most vulnerable moments. I also love the location because I was able to go to Central market and Juiceland while we waited. Sophia’s hair came out beautiful! Crystal understood the assignment and she executed. Sophia could not stop smiling and looking in the mirror on the ride home. Crystal is professional, warm, welcoming and a vibe! Thank you Crystal for this wonderful experience. We will be back sooner then later. I appreciate you.

Had to find an alternative hair stylist and couldn’t be happier. Crystal was immaculate with my hair. Took care of my natural mane doing my silk press. I’m also tender headed and didn’t feel any discomfort. And I mean any. She’s also very professional, great with time, and I felt safe and comfortable energy around her. This place is truly a gem. I have horrible anxiety when it comes to people touching my hair, but I booked this salon for a silk press and in the first 10 mins of arriving, Crystal put me at such ease and I instantly trusted whatever she said and wanted to do. She went over what each product was that she was using in my hair and why, and answered any questions I had about maintaining the health of my hair. From the wash, to the detangling, to the styling, everything felt like such a luxury experience. I am so glad I found her and I will be booking her forever!!

I went to Crystal 3 or 4 times now and I’ll stay loyal :) I m happy every time I leave her salon. For me it’s important that I can really trust my hairstylist and that I can rely on their opinion as a professional instead of me having to know exactly how I want the cut or the styling. Crystal is a person who guides you perfectly through the whole process with being very considerate at the same time :) I also like the calm atmosphere at her salon and that she is very flexible and responds quickly to my appointment requests.

Crystal is a sweet beautiful soul. I moved to a new city and needed a keratin. Crystal made sure to use the keratin my hair was accustomed to and it turned out beautifully. Her hands were so gentle in my head, I had a hard time staying awake. I will definitely book her again.

I have thick wavy hair, and a lot of it, but by the time Crystal was done, it was beautiful sleek with bouncy curls. Crystal is very talented and kind. I’ve had her do my hair on several occasions, including my hair for my wedding. My hair always turns out beautiful. Crystal knows what she is talking about, she is gentle & makes you feel beautiful. You can tell that she takes her craft serious. The photo was taken at the end of the night of my wedding after 5 hours of dancing, mingling & a wardrobe change. Crystal is Amazing. She is professional and knowledgeable. She educates you on maintaining your hair in between appointments and recommends the best products for your hair needs. I received the best partial highlights and silk press. My hair has never felt so smooth and healthy! 10/10 recommend!
