1 hour foot massage was just fine. It looks nice and clean in there but the actual massage was mediocre- I’d save your money and go to 8th st in manhattan instead. On top of it being just fine my husband still tipped 50% for each of us and then the person ringing him up short changed him (I assume by accident) and when my husband asked about it someone else working there rudely yelled at him saying he was wrong. What a crappy experience for what should have been a relaxing time.

I trust this place to give me a good massage every time and they never let me down. I have so many aches and pains due to stress, travel, sleeping in awkward positions, Being on my feet a lot… Female or male, it always hits the spot. No frills, no hiss, no fuss. They alleviate a lot of pain in between my life stylings. They keep me coming back. I fix widdem ;)

Massage was fine. But when I paid them $100 for a $90 dollar treatment they refused to give me the $10 in change. When I politely told them they had probably made a mistake, they insisted they had given me the $10 (which was an inaccurate). Not the best way to end an otherwise relaxing hour. Don’t go here. There are much better options in the area that will treat their customers with more respect. Update: notice the comment from the owner below. Clearly an unsatisfactory response. I would have preferred to hear: “our apologies we will credit you the $10 to a future treatment.” But again that’s not how the owner manages this business. Go to a different spa. There are many better options a with better treatments that are more well managed.

YOU MUST GO! 30 minute back massage is not only affordable but extremely thorough. They really know their stuff and it isn’t just a standard back rub. I’ve been multiple times and every massage is the best money I’ve ever spent. Joy in particular is great but all the masseuses are fantastic. Update: Just got a back massage from Gary and it was the back massage I’ve ever had! Will definitely be requesting him in the future. Lisa is also great! She gave a wonderful back massage on the chair!

Amazing work done by the staff at this location. I have had too many massages to count from here at this point. No need for conversation they will find the areas that cause pain and treat it quickly. Love this place. You will be happy you visited if you are in physical pain and need relief.

I don’t understand all these positive reviews. I was very excited to try this place out but my full body massage was ordinary at best. The lady spent 45 minutes on my back and the last 10 minutes on my legs. Then the guy at the front told me I should have mentioned my problem areas? I thought I was paying for a full body massage, not a back massage. I guess you get what you pay for. Edit: See here we go again, based on the response, how is it a “preference” to get a full body massage when that’s what I paid for.

The bold guy was not not good, was super rushed, like he didn’t want to be there. Wasn’t properly focusing on the process and felt like he was doing it quickly just to get it over with. Bone on bone no technique my grandma gives a better massage. Does not compare to other massages you get in NYC do not recommend and will not go back.

The lady that did my massage was amazing. I had a 60 min foot massage and 90 min prenatal massage. She was gentle and displayed patience as i was 9 month pregnant. BUT the guy at the front desk was disgusting!!!!!! By far nasty and unprofessional! I had to tell him about himself for sure!!!! Definitely brought down my rating.

A friend and I decided to go here on a whim since we passed by. We got a 30 min back massage and I wasn’t expecting much since I’m use to at least 60 min full body massages. Well my guy really utilized those 30 minutes!! He was able to recognize how many knots I had and where to pay more attention to just by paying attention to my body. I have chronic knots and pinched nerves so it takes a lot for me to feel relief. Definitely coming back here for a fuller experience

Let’s start with the good: I was running late for my appointment and Bergen spa was nice enough to accommodate shifting me to a later & convenient time. For the bad: My massage was just okay. I was on a national tour for 3 years and would get massages bi-weekly since it’s a lot on the body, so I know the difference between a knowledgeable massage therapist who knows how to realign your body vs someone who gives you an oily rubbed down, and this was the latter. When the massage was done another worker stood in front of my room and stared at me through the curtains, then allowed herself into my room (without asking) to reiterate the massage was over. I asked her to please leave. After a massage I usually take 1 minute before getting up so I don’t get lightheaded, because a lot of fluids in your body has just been shifted. This worker was very intrusive. On top of that, it took a moment for me to check out because I had another client ahead of me and was ordering an Uber, and I noticed my massage therapist stood by the whole time and didn’t leave until after I paid. I felt racially profiled, because the other client was non-Black and her therapist didn’t stick around for her check out. I’ve also always had my therapists stick around for a moment after an appointment to ask “how was everything?” or “any questions?” (Which he didn’t do), but never stick around until after my bill was paid. I will not be returning to Bergen Spa for a mediocre massage or to feel unwelcomed.

My masseuse was wonderful. The space was clean and calm. The only reason I do t give it 5 stars was because the man at the front desk is consistently abrupt and seemingly intolerant to speak to anyone including customers and I notice he doesn’t speak kindly to staff.

Massage was very rough and felt very rushed. We had a 90 mins couple massage and they never slowed down and it felt like they needed to be somewhere. Even after I said its a little rough it didn't change. Our room was right next to the toilet so you could hear constant toilet flushing and people coming and going. We are disappointed and won't return and don't recommend for a longer massage.

The men masseuse give the best massages IMO. I give 4 stars because sometimes they don't give full timed massages. I purposely check my phone before they start and check when they end. Last time I got back and foot combo and it ended 15 mins earlier than it was suppose to. Otherwise from that you really can't beat the prices. I recommend anyone to give this place a try. If you want somewhere with all the frills and fake customer service than go somewhere that will charge you $200 for a 50 min massage... you can't beat the prices of this place. I like a very deep massage and they've always done a wonderful job with that

A nice place and prices are very reasonable. Have been a few times. Walking in is actually better than rezzies, IMO. Last week I booked a foot massage for 2 at 3pm over text. They text at 2:45 that they need 15 more mins and to go to their other location. That's fine. Get to the other place at 3:15 and they're full and have no idea who I am. Fun. I recommend avoiding for appointments....this really soured me and I won't return, which is a shame because there aren't many places like this in the area. But why even accept appmts if you don't honor them? I don't get it....

I sent my husband here today for his birthday he said he enjoyed it very much that everyone was very respectful very welcoming and peaceful also the prices are very affordable he will be a returning customer thank you guys for making him feel very relaxed and pain free
