Amazing salon and service! Coming from an LA based Japanese hair salon, I needed to find a salon in Seattle that could handle Asian hair and who also had the best training. Yuka was my stylist and she was great. Very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. Her training and knowledge of hair is of the highest level. Thank you for a great experience!!

Even though my stylist was about 45 minutes late in seeing me for my first visit ever here, I feel like this is still the place to go for a high-quality haircut with stylists who know how to cut thick Asian hair. There's something to be said to having the same hair type and knowing how to deal with it. I've been to too many salons and stylists who just end up giving me an odd candy-corned shaped hairdo, and I end up having to go back to get it reshaped. I'm just going to get it right the first time and come here instead. :)

Maybe this place is only good at girls' hair... I had my hair cut there and was a bit disappointed, especially compare to the price. Good service attitude (earned one star), but bad result. I showed my previous hair cut picture, but the outcome was totally diffierent. I may wear a hat for a while... sad...

A reservation is like a joke in this place. Here's the story. I was on the waiting list for a hair cut on Sunday. Yuka reached out and said someone cancelled an appointment and asked me whether I'd like to take it. I said yes, and I got the confirmation of the reservation. Few hours later, Yuka reached out again and said that the customer who had cancelled the appointment wanted to take it back, and basically TOLD me that the reservation was no longer valid. It was a WOW moment for me and I asked how they could run business this way. The answer I got was basically that customer was a long-time customer. So what Yuka was saying was that "a reservation at this place is a best-effort thing - if there is a long-time customer wants that same time spot, you will be kicked out." Isn't that a joke? Berry Berry owners, if you see this, you should seriously re-think about how to treat all customers equally and how to respect the most basic rules in the business world. If you REALLY mean that old customers have the privedge to override an existing reservation, write it down and make it your own rule. It may still sound ridiculous, but new customers would reset their expectations when they book an appointment. If that is NOT what you want, which I hope that's the case, you should stick to the most basic rules and value in business, even if that sometimes means you sacrifice some short-term gains for your business.
