Samantha is absolutely the best. I get my haircut by her every two weeks and it’s always done perfect. She also does an amazing job with my 8 year old daughter’s hair. Awesome job with a beautiful soul and attitude.

First, I waited 20 minutes after appointment time. I had previously sent Samantha a pic of what I wanted and she said it was something she could do. At appointment, I showed her the pic again and she said it was simple and not far off from what I already had. It was a chocolate, caramel and blonde color and I already had auburn and blonde hair. Well, the lighting at the studio was odd and it was night so I couldn't really see the color she let me walk with after $270. When I got home, my husband asked me why I went grey. Yes...grey. I went to the bathroom and I actually saw green as well. It was horrific! When I reached out to Samantha the following day, she advised me to wash my hair with dish soap. WHAT??? After Googling this, many stylists are on the internet begging people to NOT do this. I told I didn't feel comfortable. She said she was booked all day and that she would "try" to fit me in. After I told her I wouldn't wash my hair with dish soap, she didn't respond again. I asked her for a partial refund seeing that now I would have to pay for someone to fix the disaster and she responded the following day claiming that she didn't offer refunds, but that I could come in and she would attempt to fix it. Seriously?? You didn't know what you were doing in the first place and you think you can fix it?? Um...no. I am not interested in a worse outcome. She still refuses to offer any sort of refund. The first pic is what she said she could achieve for me. The second and third are what I walked out with and she acted as if it was perfect. So unprofessional in every way.

I love the hairhouse! I have been going to Samantha for about a year now and he is kind and friendly and doens't push products or services on you and this is a big win in my book! She is talented and does a great job. The space is clean and she is always on time/ not behind!

Samantha is very professional. She responded to my call right away and my appointment was made easily. During my first appointment, Samantha went over what she thought would look good on me after looking over my hair type, shape of my face, etc. She listened to my ideas too! I was very happy with the finished look and it is easy to maintain. The Salon is bright and clean. She even offered to go over the hair products I typically use and decide if they are correct for my hair type and my new hairstyle. I highly recommend Samantha and the Best Little Hair House.

Samantha is a hidden gem here in SW Charlotte. She has a natural hack for understanding hair, and from cut to color I trust her judgement completely! Plus her studio is so nice, much more personalized than a salon.
