On my first visit for a facial, I unexpectedly received the Hifu Facial, which is a 60-minute treatment performed by Hailey. Her professionalism and kindness were evident throughout the session. She provided me with comprehensive information about the facial and its effects on my skin. So happy and delighted with the outcome.

Awesome experience, and great service. It started with Xia who did an excellent job with my facial, and recommended nurse Raizal for other treatments, who I loved from the very beginning. She is super-sweet, and extremely professional. Appreciated how gentle and skilled she is, truly the best!

Better Med Spa is truly the best spas in Chicago and K-beauty is the way to go! I’ve had several different treatments since they first opened last year, and the results on my skin are visible and amazing! Everyone of their staff is very knowledgeable and skilled - Jacqueline always answers all my questions patiently and provides very helpful advice. My microneedling sessions with Xiya are so effective, as she is always very thorough. Highly recommend!

I tried Tixel at Better Med Spa in January and had a great experience, so I chose them again for Botox. I've been getting Botox for five years but recently noticed it's less effective. I discussed this with my doctor and, based on their advice, chose Xeomin this time. Today is the second day after my Xeomin injection, and the results are already noticeable! With Botox, it usually took five days to see the effects.

My skin is very sensitive. I chose Rejuran to regulate the inflammation of my skin.I had two treatments when I lived in Korea. After coming to Chicago, I consulted many places and finally chose Better Med Spa & Wellness. They were very professional and explained their operation process. It was the same as what I did in Korea, which made me feel at ease.

Originally I was scheduled with Jessica but then a day before or so I got rescheduled with Erica. I did read the other review about her and figured she’s not much of a talker but the facial itself may not be a problem. I got there to do my Visia analysis that was scheduled for 30 minutes and it took about 15 minutes. Keep in mind I got there like 30 minutes early because I drove from the suburbs. I did not learn much from the analysis and Erica talked fast and just really seemed like she was not interested in building a customer relationship or was in a hurry I don’t know. Maybe she did not think that I was a worthy customer because I didn’t doll up for the appointment and wore very simple clothes. Anyway, I got the Korean glass skin facial. Online it says it takes 60 minutes it was 40 minutes tops. The facial massage was nice and the hydration did last after the facial. I did get a breakout after the facial tho. Erica kept insisting she is not a product pusher but she did try to push the products. I did get the oxygen ceuticals serum that I enjoy using for sure even thought it does have fragrances, so it may not be for everyone. Either for the moisturizer or serum I don’t remember now I asked her if it has fragrances. She smelled it and gave it to me to smell it and said it doesn’t seem like it. (That’s not how fragrances work in skincare!). Again I don’t know if she thought I was not worthy as a client and that I lack skin care knowledge or Erica genuinely doesn’t know that fragrance in skincare does not necessarily have to have a strong smell. Also, there was a small area on the counter to put personal things away, my things that was near the sink got wet during the facial. There was no other area to put my things away. I think Instagram made this experience seem very cool and overhyped. I feel like with a different person it may have been a better experience. I do wanna try some of their other services but will probably cancel if I get rescheduled with Erica again.

After a consultation, they provided me with a Hair Restoration PRP + Rejuran plan tailored to my hairline and postpartum hair loss. I found both my consultant and doctor to be very professional.

I rarely leave reviews on Google, but this time my procedure was very effective I made an appointment on their website. There was no waiting when I arrived there. They first communicated with me my needs and check my lips. They explained the principle of the treatment to me, which was very helpful. It relieved my anxiety. Did lips a week ago, and they told me that if I am not satisfied with the effect, I can contact them for botox TOUCH UP. So far it seems to be working very well! No need to supplement botox at all!!!!

Disappointing overall. I booked a personalized K beauty facial with the Vitamin C boost (brightening booster or whatever) and was scheduled with Erika. First of all, the room I was in only had a curtain, not an actual door so I could hear the music playing from the lobby (there was no music inside the room) and hearing Taylor Swift and other pop songs did not promote a relaxing or soothing environment and I could not "tune" out. Additionally, this wasn't my first facial, and with every facial I've gotten, the esthetician turns on the super bright light, takes a look at my skin then tells me what they observe and what they'll be doing that day. Erika just started and never turned on the light to take a good look at my skin, that was a concerning and felt elementary. I have been putting off getting a facial because of the economy and everything being so pricey but I decided to splurge and treat myself. Now I wish I hadn't - my skin isn't glowy like after previous experiences elsewhere, it's actually quite dull and I didn't even really enjoy myself although it felt nice. I won't be returning unfortunately. I was hoping to love it.

Xiya did an amazing job! I came in and was greeted with water and tea. The spa was clean and nice. I had a skin analysis and it was very thorough. I learned a lot about my face and they gave me recommendations on what I can do to improve my areas of concern. After, I had an oxygen dome facial. The facial left my face glowing and glassy! I could visibly see that my face had lifted a bit too! I would definitely come back again!

I had a bad experience today as i went in for consultation and once my consultation was done she used their brightening serum and then i started experiencing itchiness and allergy she tried washing it nothing worked still the same itchiness and slight redness started and she suggested me to go to emergency if redness continues and any active breakouts. I also mentioned i was sensitive to lemon and some products. Check ingredients also while they are using any product so you guys dont have to face this

I was seeing great skin results from my best friend who recommended me to Better Med Spa. I decided to give it a try and got my skin consultation. It’s a bit hard to find street parking at times and I will be late but they were really understanding about it. I was greeted by Priscilla who is very nice and friendly and I got my skin consultation by Jessica. Jessica is lovely to be around and she’s gentle with your skin, I highly recommend her! I’ve got two Tixel treatments done so far and I’m happy with the outcome.

I was looking forward to trying this place I heard so many good things and after reading the reviews I was more excited for it. I booked a consultation, a facial and a LED add on to my facial, they didn’t do my consultation and they didn’t do my LED add on either, honestly I was pretty disappointed my facial felt rush. I would not be going back the whole experience was just a big no for me. I would not recommend this place.

I booked a Korean Glass Skin facial here for my birthday last month based on a TikTok I saw. The service itself was just okay. Front desk staff was friendly, the space itself is very “aesthetic”. I didn’t find the facial to be significantly impressive or inherently Korean about it. My regular esthetician offers the same quality of service for half the cost. I drove down from Milwaukee for this appointment and specifically chose this spa because they offer skin analysis/x-ray but was disappointed to be notified that the person who does this service was out for the day even though I made note of this request months in advance when I initially booked the appointment. I actually had to remind the staff of this before they looked into it. I arrived about 30 mins early for the appointment and was okay with waiting but my appointment time rolled around and I was not seen on time. In fact, my appointment started 15 mins late. The esthetician who serviced me didn’t go into detail about what was being done or the products being used and my extractions were way too rough then at the end I was being sold a product which came out of the blue. I didn’t know what it was for except that it’s a best seller at the spa. I didn’t get the spa like experience I was looking for. I’m glad I tried something new but I’m not sure I would return.

I came across this spa by chance while I was looking for places that would help me with my acne scarring. I set up a free consultation and they gave me so much insight on my skin. I felt heard regarding my concerns and what I’d like to prioritize about my skin and Jackie set me up with my first tixel appointment! I’ve been going there for 4 months, routinely, and it is what I look forward to each month! The customer service is 10/10. The front desk is so kind, I’ve seen all different estheticians, Jessica, Priscilla and Erica! They all just made me feel so pampered and so comfortable. I’m always getting compliments on my skin by my colleagues so I can’t recommend this highly enough!! Also if you’re thinking about becoming a member, do it! It is very much worth it!

I got a personalized facial here today with Priscilla and had such a wonderful experience. I have acne-prone skin with a lot of hyperpigmentation and texture, and made the mistake of using tea-tree pads 2 days ago. My skin was extremely dry and flaky; I was shedding like a snake and Priscilla took the time to use microdermabrasion to suck up all the dead skin that was peeling off. I was definitely super sensitive so she paid attention to how my skin felt and used extremely hydrating and nourishing products! I also got the LED therapy which is typically done by letting LED lamp do its thing under specific lights for a set amount of time. Normally this is quite boring, but Priscilla used a device that felt like a comb and gently ran it through my hair throughout the time I was under the LED lamp and I swear I almost fell asleep! She has magical hands, and she took the time to explain all of the steps (which I really appreciate) and even gave me samples to use at the end! This place is definitely worth your coin!

I love their service, hospitality, and staff. They make you feel so welcome as soon as you arrive, with an offering of complimentary beverages. I’ve done different facials: Korean glass skin, HIFU, etc. and they are all amazing, leaving my skin glowing and healthy for days afterwards! The best treat for myself! I loved everything about my facial, it's a clean space, love my results, I would love to visit again. The only thing I would add is that the receptionist was late and staff and I were waiting out in the cold when the receptionist told me to arrive to my appointment 15 minutes beforehand.

It was amazing from start to finish! I was first greeted by their lovely receptionist Priscilla. after she checked me in, she made sure I was comfortable and offered me snacks/drinks. It was a short wait also they were very efficient. The procedure I had done was Tixel pigmentation & melasma. From start to finish they made sure everything was comfortable for me. Explained every step of the procedure, answered all my questions. It truly was a great experience! Highly recommend!!!!
