They were ok. They started promptly and finished quickly. I got medium knotless to the lower back. They top of my head braids are not equal and slightly to one side and the all of the braids are not braiding down as far as it should. The lady with the baby did the top and another lady did the back.

My experience at this Salon was very positive. Charlotte welcomed me with a beautiful smile and equally matched personality! She was knowledgeable about styling and the price for service was reasonable. She was efficient with time as well.

I booked my appointment for 9am but no one was at the salon so they didn’t get started until 10am. I booked the owner to do my hair but she wasn’t available 🤦🏾‍♀️. The braids were horrible., by that time the owner shows up and had them to redo what they had started. Backup a little, the hair wash was terrible, my hair wasn’t properly cleansed. I booked for small knotless braids and got big parts with small braids. The young girl rushed on my hair. I was just over it. 2 weeks later my hair was coming out of the braids because of poor parting around the edges of my head. What I paid for & what I got. I’m in the pink & orange. Highly disappointed 😢

My daughter had a great experience here. People stopped and asked her , “Where’d you get your braids done?” I’ll tell you—not one person has asked me where I’ve gotten mine done—my experience was not quite as favorable. The braider was fast and friendly. The shop looked great. But my braids—looked nothing like I requested online. I asked for extra long, ombré, with triangle parts. Half-way through they realized that I’d requested triangle parts. But decided to continue braiding and informed me after the braids were completed, “Sorry, we didn’t do triangle parts.” (I know French). I also paid an extra 20 for extra long braids. Instead, I got a tad bit longer, extra sparse braids. I’ve never been able to wear them down. I just look straight up bald. One of my pet peeves is when braiders realize after getting to the front that they didn’t put enough braids in your hair and then decide to sacrifice your sides by add 9/10 braids in the front. So I had to take my edges out after just a couple weeks so that my edges didn’t break off completely. I say completely, because they did break off of course, due traction alopecia. A few strands of hair can’t stand up under the weight of a braid, the mass, density, and tension will pull it out, it’s just physics. So now with the front edges removed I’ve got about 20-25 braids on my head that I have to wear up in a bun. To thin even for a ponytail, really. I personally wouldn’t return, but if I did—I would say don’t pay for the extras. The extra 20 dollars here or there. Just get the basic braid packet because they pretty much just do what they want anyway.

I needed my crochet braids done super last minute today and Charlotte and her neice were able to get me right in! The wash and deep condition was excellent and the crochet install was done with care! 5 stars!! I also loved how Charlotte (the owner) teaches uses every opportunity to teach her neice (who was on my hair) correct technique and the perfect braiding pattern that would make my crochet lay perfectly how I wanted. Very polite neice as well who made sure I was happy with her work before I paid! Love it!

Just had my butterfly locs done here and I love it the price was great and it didn't take long for them to do it either. I recommend them because they do have other styles they do as well with reasonable prices.

After much debate, I decided I was going to finally get my hair braided. I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews for different hair salons and finally settled on Beyond Hair and Braids. Scheduling an appointment was super easy; I just had to book online what I wanted and pick a stylist and time. The day of my appointment, I was seated and they got right to work. I was in and out in no time! (Think I was there for just 2 hours or so). I'm very pleased with how my first time getting braids turned out and I will definitely return in the future!

Amazing experience! I booked for large knotless braids. The team was so quick and efficient. I was done in under 2 hours! The ladies were super sweet and made my time with them enjoyable. Very chill and relaxing environment. My braids turned out beautifully. I will definitely be booking again soon!!! 10/10

As I was preparing for my vacation and prior to booking this expensive appt, a consultation was done to ensure my hair was the appropriate length. The style didn't turn out satisfactorily so a return trip the next day to correct the style occurred. Unfortunately a few days later (while on vacation) curls were dropping out as the braids unraveled since the assistant didn't close the braids properly. Now that I'm removing the braids, I see that the assistant had cut my actual hair!

FIVE STAR!!! My first appointment was in April 2022, Charlotte and her team were exceptional! I was so impressed with my braids, the detail, the professionalism and the customer service. This was the first time I had braids in over 20 years. Needless to say, I returned this week and Charlotte did an amazing job, small box braids in record time. If you want a great experience and beautiful braids (and no damage to your hair), please please please go to Beyond Hair and Braids. I drive over 30 minutes for this type of quality work and experience!!!!! My daughter has become a customer, her drive is 5 hours, what does that tell you!

Had a great experience. I’m new to the area this is the first shop I tried to get my braids done and it did not fail!! Great customer service, great team work, gentle braiding, efficiency and great vibes! I especially loved the female “hair salon” talk!! Make your app! My only suggestion is a bit more cleanliness!

I am BEYOND satisfied with the services I recieved form Beyond Hair & Braids. Charlotte ( Owner) is very professional, quick & efficient PLUS she has a sweet personality. Today I got medium sized waist length box braids and I CANNOT stop looking at my hair! The braids are so neat and well proportioned. A MAJOR plus is that the braids are not tight, ( Thank GOD). Oh yeah how can I forget she has atleast one other stylist braiding your hair also, so you wont be sitting in the chair all day. I booked an appointment on Monday for July 2nd. I texted them to confirm my appointment and asked if I could send a photo. I never got a response, so I called and still didn't get an answer. I decided to call the following day a little bit after they opened and was sent to voicemail. I was going to leave a voicemail, but their inbox was full. So I immediately got a text saying that I could send a photo. They only answered the second part of my question. So I sent them photos of the style I wanted, and I asked again if they could confirm that the date and time I requested were still okay since it's before business hours. I still didn't receive a response, so I canceled my whole appointment. I let them know that I had canceled my appointment, but I didn't get a response. I understand that you all are busy, but you could at least answer my questions or give me a call back when you're not busy. Also, BEWARE that their $50 deposits are non-refundable and can only be used as a credit toward another style even if you cancel the appointment within 24 hours.

My braids are beautiful! I relocated to Greensboro from Massachusetts and had a difficult time finding a braid shop to do my braids exactly the way that I was used to getting it braided. I have been to this braiding salon three times in the last 5-6 months because they are just that good. I've gotten both small and medium sized knotless braids. Both versions look great and have an excellent price point. It's easy to book an appointment through their online system. The location is pretty convenient, as well. The owner, Charlotte, is professional and super fast. The rest of her team is also very accommodating, kind, and maintain a pleasant environment.
