Just moved to Tucson this past summer and have been looking for a new place to get pedicures. I had my favorite place in Mesa and was looking for a place that would compare to the kind of service and quality I’m used to. I’ve tried several places and was not happy with the service and quality. Stopped here on a whim to check it out. So glad I did bc the quality is excellent, the service is awesome, and I was very surprised by the prices of the services. I have found my new place for pedis in Tucson finally! I definitely recommend.

Edit: next day, the cuticle around one of my big toes is inflamed. This has never happened before. Decent price for a pedicure, but prepare to be heavily pressured and possibly tricked for add-ons and upgrades and other services. Though there was almost nobody in the salon, nobody waiting, and other techs doing nothing, I still felt it was rushed. The tech even stood and hovered close at my side to pick a color fast, and the same hovering close waiting for a tip when I paid cash. After the pedicure, my heels are still very dry and cracked.

lisa is amazing!! my family loves this shop and they always do a great job. she did this awesome gothy look for me and i cannot get over how gorgeous they are!!! 10/10 would recommend

I thought long before writing this review, but was led to share my experience. I had been going to Beyond Nails & Spa for close to 2 years. I had always been pleased with the service, hence my continued return to this establishment. My routine was a pedicure and my cuticles on my nails being cleaned up. Twice in the past 6 months I ended up with infections after my pedicures. Beyond Nails & Spa was willing to give me my money back for the Urgent Care Visit, medications, and a gift card to come back the first time (6 months ago) and the money back for the Urgent Care Visit and medications this most recent time (1 month ago). Despite this happening, I attempted to return to my usual lady (Kim) and planned on explaining what I wanted to do differently to prevent it from happening again. I called to make an appointment with her, which I always do, but when I got there I was told to sit with someone else. When I asked where she was I was told I would be getting a pedicure from someone else very rudely. I thought I misunderstood what she said so I ask her to repeat herself. And she did, with a major attitude. I have been a loyal customer for a long time and have always tipped generously and to be met with this disrespect was uncalled for. I got up and went somewhere else. I wanted to write this review to prevent someone else from having to feel the same way I did when I left that day. It made me sick to my stomach. I hope the owner speaks with the workers and does things differently in the future.

I’m not from the area, I’m here for work, so I’ve been trying different salons. The first time I came in, they sat me with someone who was clearly new. She was doing a terrible job. I spoke up, they put someone new with me. The next customer walked in, she went to grab that woman they stopped her- it was a white customer. I said, nah.. it’s not what you’re thinking. Fast forward a month later… I come in today. They sit the lady in front of me and I’m thinking she looks oddly like the last lady I wasn’t pleased with but I give her a chance. She indeed is because she’s, AGAIN, rushing and doing a terrible job. I speak up and one lady jumps up and says she’s been here 5 years. No maam. So I point and tell her to look at the work. She speaks in their language and says to me, “just tell her”. Why should I have to tell her?? I’m paying you for a service and your employee should know what she’s doing. Don’t practice on your customers!!!! I won’t be back again. A coworker gave me a different salon name but this one is convenient to where I am staying. Save your time, money and peace of mind and go elsewhere. The gentleman ended up finishing the service and did a great job but I will take my money elsewhere for the remainder of my time here. It’s unfortunate that this is the experience as a new customer.

They are not very clean, I will never go back. She used the same Dremel on my nails she had just used on someone elses feet without even cleaning it. I was so grossed out. Plus when I told them how I wanted my nails, they do what they want instead and over charge the price.....BOOO. MY NAILS SUCK FROM THERE. THEY ARE LUMPY AND CHIPPING!!!

Horrible experience! I went to get a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. Henry did my nails and cut my fingers. When mentioned to him he said he didn't see it. The owner called me over to check it. She told Henry they were cut, she put alcohol and apologized. Spent $90 for cuts and horrible looking nails. Won't go back!

I have lived in Tucson for almost a decade and I have gotten my nails done at LEAST 100+ times while living here and 90% of all those times I came to THIS salon. I was a loyal customer, hence the word WAS. I called last evening to set an appointment for my daughter and I, and the manager lady who answered said to come at 6:30. So we did, on time. She rushed through the nails, and when I had stepped aside to get cash while she was doing my daughters nails, she rushed so much that she didn’t even have my daughter wash all the dust and grit off before painting. That really didn’t bother me too much, it was when she started talking to her co workers in her native language and then seeing her put a nail polish in her pocket. Well I had chose my color, and explained how it was sheer and that I wanted a couple coats. When I was looking away talking to my daughter while she started painting, I looked down as it came out of the UV light and had realized she put on an “under layer” of black nail polish because she said it was to sheer. Well it was closing time and she was already rushing and I didn’t want to argue, I truly tried to like the nails, and paid over $100 for our nails including a tip. Well today I woke up and just really didn’t like my nails because it wasn’t what I requested or wanted, so I called to be with my regular tech and she said she would fix it- which already made me feel uneasy. Well I go in with my daughter and explain to her again what I had wanted and she painted 3 nails and said “see, you can see the nail” and I said “I know, that’s why I like an extra coat” which she snapped with “well how many coats?!” I told her just one extra so 2 coats total. Well she started to paint only one of the 3 nails she painted and started saying something about making sure it looked right to me this time but the part of the sentence that made me decide I no longer will go to this nail salon is when she said “Don’t come back unless you have money” (I had cash I was going to pay her for fixing them, even though she made the mistake and displeased a customer, I was STILL willing to pay her a cash tip for FIXING HER MISTAKE) Who says something like that to a loyal customer… well I ended up deciding if she wanted to say I had no money, I didn’t give her anything considering they are supposed to fix mistakes for free anyhow. The comment got to me because how is a business manager going to tell a loyal customer “don’t come back unless you have money” when I was in the salon less than 20 hours prior getting a nail job not even worth $90 and I tipped her 15%. (Not 20% because of being rushed, and not painting my nails like I wanted) one of my nails are crooked and she didn’t even get the acrylic closer to my cuticle line. The color is the color I wanted now, but just look at the actual nail shape. I circled it, you can definitely see how crooked it is. Normally I wouldn’t even care, because I loved that salon. It was honestly just the comment trying to degrade me as if I didn’t have money to be there in the first place and that’s what lost me. I wouldn’t recommend, they aren’t very nice and they are constantly talking about you while getting your nails done like you’re stupid and don’t have a clue.

Just moved to Tucson and looking for a good nail salon. This one is not it. When you arrive there are no instructions how this salon works. My technician did not speak english so communication as to what I wanted was difficult. Other technicians tried to translate, but it was in vain. Once seated there is a menu to choose which type of pedicure I wanted. I chose and pointed to the one I wanted which was $40. The technician pointed to a different service that was more expensive. Three times I had to tell her NO and pointed to what I wanted. I didn't appreciate the up selling tactic. Her technique was a little rough, but the leg and hot stone massage was great. Once polish was applied she moved me to another location to dry. When she thought it was dry, she rubbed her finger over the toenail and smudged the polish because it wasn't dry. I said something about it and I got a blank stare, so I showed her what she did. Seems like it didn't matter to her. Another technician came over to help. She rubbed the polish off in that spot down to the nail and applied a blob of polish over it. There was another toe that the polish had a knick on and she applied a blob of polish over that. No top coat was added to seal both toes. With the toe spacers still on I walked barefoot across the room to another technician who wanted to put my flip flops on with the spacers still on. She dragged my foot to slide into the flip flops which bent my little toe under my foot as she continued to pull it into the flip flop. I said my toe was bent and the reply was "oh we can fix the polish." The hell with the polish, my toe was hurting. Nobody seemed to care. I remarked that I wasn't happy about any of this. Silence. I went back to the drying location. That was when I decided that if this salon was not professional enough to fix their errors correctly, I would find another salon to repolish my toes. I did and it was an additional $20 I hadn't planned on spending today. This was not the worst pedi I have had in 30 years, but it sure came in second. What this salon lost today was not only me as a customer, but I was on a mission to find a good salon to treat a party of 10 for a wedding in next month. The salon that did the repolish will get my business. I felt like I shouldn't have to pay for this sloppy pedi, but I did anyway. Needless to say I did not leave a tip. Go somewhere else if you want quality work.

Not worth it, my girlfriend and my friend went to get their nails done but had a horrible experience. The staff was rude and unprofessional, there was some communication gap because of the language as well. They didn't get what they wanted inspite of repeatedly requesting for it. The staff didn't listen to them and just went ahead what they think was suppose to be right but at the end it wasn't satisfactory for my two girls and at the end the job wasn't done right and both of them have several cuts due to the ruff and unsatisfying work. I hope that the management can fix this in future, as of now it's not worth it, there are much better and more professional places in Tucson. Good luck.

The main lady Lisa was very rude. I understand they don’t speak English much but they were not ready to listen what we wanted. They even did multiple cuts while doing my friend’s nails. I told them I want transparent gel but she wasn’t ready to listen. Not worth the money!!

I had gotten my nails done at another salon that salon argued about fixing my nails I left and googled nails salons this one came up so I decided to give it a shot. My experience was wonderful got me right in fixed my nails and listened to what I actually wanted Michael was the technician I had today I will be returning to this salon.

My first visit today for manicure. Did a great job cleaning up my cuticles, filing and polishing. However, over priced considering the standard manicure at every other salon I've been to for the past 20 years, has always included cuticle oil and a hand massage up to the elbow. Not here. I paid for a manicure and barely got more than a polish change. Never going back!

Salon is clean and their regulars recommended this place. I got the gal who was unable to communicate or give a decent pedicure. The manager knew it too. A day later one of my toes is sore and swollen from her poor trimming of my nails and digging in my cuticle. 😡
