I would give this salon zero stars if I could, had the most traumatic hair experience here with an old European man who barely speaks English, the owner I’m assuming. Went in on a whim , I had just arrived at the airport and had a little time in between meetings. It was the only salon with availability in short notice, the first red flag in hindsight. Walked in and as soon as I sat in the chair I could tell the language barrier was going to be an issue, I was uneasy, within 3 minutes of watching him cut my hair I was almost in tears. I was visibly distraught by the time I asked him to stop cutting my hair, he responded by losing his temper on me and literally kicked me out of the salon, with wet hair and the most botched hair cut I’ve ever had. I had to find another salon immediately after to fix my hair, that was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at the salon. Don’t go here, save yourself the headache.

Really slow and didn’t do a good job with the cut or blow dry. Would not recommend. Hair was sticking up at the top. Also the products used left an oily looking sheen. Will need to redo my hair during my trip. Very expensive for the poor quality.

Bibbo gave me the best haircut I have ever had. EVER. I have baby fine hair which is so difficult to turn into a flattering style...but in 15 minutes Bibbo DID IT. Cannot recommend enough.

Had concierge book me a mani/pedi and a blowout last minute this morning and Bibbo had graciously accepted my appointment request. I arrived and was greeted by Mr. Bibbos that ushered straight away to my nail tech that did a fabulous job and had a wonderful spirit. I had a blowout by the talented Mr. Bibbos and walked back to the hotel with pins in my hair to change and reveal the most gorgeous hair. I’ll be back!

I went to this hair salon for the first time while visiting SF for work . Just amazing ! I travel a lot for work around the world and tried hair salons in so many places , but I have to say , I think this is the best I’ve been so far , the owner Bibbo is just fantastic , as well as being warm , friendly and funny and making you feel valued , he has so much experience and skills. I had an hair cut and 2 colors highlights, I was impressed with the way he did it , and it was perfect . One of the best highlights I had . He did exactly what I asked for . I live in France , but I will come all the way to SF to do my hair now . Thanks Bibbo and katia , I love my highlights.

Amazing Salon! Bibbo and Katia are the best stylists and colorists in the world! Bibbo is so creative and skilled in that he must have been born with scissors in his hand! A truly enjoyable experience with wonderfully talented professionals!

Bibbo was a nice enough person. We were out of town and need a last minute color correction ($220 USD). He said that there was a 50/50 chance that with my daughter's black hair it might come out more Orange and Red. Don't get your hopes up, he said. Ok, sure. The bleaching took her hair back to a very close Brown that was her original hair. The entire time, he would not give me an estimate on the final price. Kept saying, my daughter would love the final result. The hair was more blonde than black (the box color she added didn't take, thankfully). So Bibbo asked my daughter what color she wanted her hair to be, she picked a medium brown. Bibbo said that was "too light, she weeks look better with a darker Brown color. He picks the color and him and his assistant perform the color treatment. It came out purple, a dark purple that dyed her scalp purple, her forehead purple and final color color a dark purple. With school starting in a week my daughter was devistated. Bibbo offered to do some highlights the next day at 8:30am. My daughter rushes over to the salon at 8:30am sharp. He wasn't there, none of his staff had any idea he was going too fix her hair. The end of it is that the highlights didn't happen, she left SFO with purple hair. She was told it would get lighter... It did, more purple. the last picture 3 days later. The chemicals burned her skin by the ear. :(

Trust me, once you experience Bibbo''s Salon, that's where you will want to go each time. I have never received so many compliments about my hair style and color as I have since going to Bibbo's. I've been going to Bibbo's salon for 25+ years. The is the third incarnation of his shop. He has made each an amazing success and clients have followed him faithfully. You cannot find a more skilled technician of his occupation. But beyond that, he is genuinely the most gracious, buoyant, person I know. When I enter his business I feel special and welcome. And when I leave, I feel transformed and more positive about my appearance and that experience. My daughter has been going to Bibbos with me since she was 2 months old . She is now 20, in school in Boston, and doesn't let anyone touch her hair except him.

Love love love this place!!! Was struggling to find a good hair salon in SF for my hair coloring and I'm so glad I found this amazing place. This place felt so warm and welcoming. Bibbo and his female associate worked out a tremendous deal for me and gave me an amazing transformation. In love with my new hair color. Definitely took some years off my face!! Highly recommend it!!

Love this place. Every time Bibbo does my hair people will stop me and ask me who’s my hairstylist. Very professional, lovely. Everyone is so amazing, I fell like a princess every time. I really recommend this place.

My favorite and only Hair Salon I'd go to is Bibbo's. I’ve been seeing Bibbo for my color and cut for the last 22 years. No matter where I've moved, I still travel to see him. He is A+++ when it comes to cutting and coloring hair. It’s always a pleasure getting my hair styled with Bibbo!!! He's amazing!!!

They are amazing! Bibbo is the master colorist and hair cutter and Katia is the master applicator and stylist. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. They have great attention to my needs and the details of my hair. Also, always listen to me and give me what I want. Thanks guys!

What a wonderful warm welcome I received when I arrived at the Salon. Bibbo and Katia were very wam and inviting. I asked them to help me make a change to my boring look. All I Can Say is i went in an Ugly Duck but came out a beautiful Swan. I am so happy I took the step for a change. The highlights, colorong and cut were llfe changong for me. I love my new lookk!!!! When I got my hair done by the owner of this Salon (Bibbo) I was going through a lot in my personal life I went in because I desperately needed my hair done and not knowing the actual salon owner (Bibbo) was going to do my hair [Literally all the way up until the end I didn't know it was Bibbo's Salon I just saw Salon and walked in ] This man was loud obnoxious and kept throwing back handed compliments criticizing me and how in a nutshell thought how low class I was comparing me with a penguin in the end If I can give him lower stars for how disappointed and rude this man was I would .

Worst Haircut of my life by Bibbo. He is fun but ruined my hair with the hot razor, he has no idea what he is doing with it. It literally took 2 yrs to get past this awful haircut. My hair shaft was so compromised the heat of an iron fried my hair to the scalp and even after i went short to minimize my trauma because of all the chunks cut out it was a slow process that put me in a wig for a four months. I felt horrible about my hair. I was visiting from Florida and had to return to the salon before going home to try to get something done with it. He was offended and tried to say i did not know how to style my hair( I was a salon owner at the time and 30plus year stylist) then had a co worker try to help. She did what she could. I asked her to blink if she thought my hair was f-ed up and she blinked 10 times. Do not let Bibbo use his razor better yet, find a new stylist.

A wonderful experience! Went for a challenging color correction on my teenage daughter's hair. It turned out much better than expected and was actually fun! They were professional, but also very warm and friendly. I will be returning for my own hair care as soon as possible!

I love this place. The people are amazing, and you just feel at home when you walk in the door. I’ve gone to Antonio for a couple years now and he is next level! My hair was awful when I first came to him and he literally transformed it! I recommend 10/10🔥

Went back as soon as they open after the Shelter in Place mandate. So happy to see them again, My hair is looking better than ever!! Thank you Bibbo!!!! I'll see you again in a couple of weeks.
