I am a “Westsider” but when I found Big Apple Spa and Nails I stopped looking for a good place on the west side of Wichita. I will happily drive the extra miles for this clean and happy salon. Best in Wichita!

I tried to show them the reference pictures off their own website and they proceeded to not give me what i asked for, also the lady who did my toes rushed me out of the chair causing me to mess them up in the process

I was excited to find out my husband planned a nail day for me and our daughters. I feel that there are some things that could have been done better. First when I come in and I tell you what I want, please know I have already reviewed the website and Budget out my expenses. I didn't like how I was told what was better than what I wanted. The prices were different than what was online and what she rung up at the end. Also not once was I offered water or wine, but I see it was offered to others who had came in to receive services, if that's a service you offer, please advise your staff to offer to EVERYONE!!! Then I had my daughter's get regular polish (remember budget) on their toes, which end up messed up from them walking to the table to get their nails done, and the nail tech turns to me and says next time get shellac because it dries faster, and walks off! Rude, as if I inconvenienced her. I am well aware it dries faster but to be paying for 3 pedicures and 3 full sets and then you want me to pay an additional 15 per person for some polish that dries faster so you rush us to get to the next person is crazy and rightfully rude. I paid over 330 dollars for service I'm not happy with. I wanted a design but after going from asking to acrylic nails which is 40.00 to a design jumping to 75.00 was just ridiculous. Especially since none of us actually got acrylic, bc whatever which reason. Shame on me bc I should have just said no and left. It was not enjoyable moment for me and I honestly should have left after we got our toes done b/c things went left from there. My youngest actually left with 2 toes messed up and my oldest daughter was all the way unhappy but I was so fed up I just told myself never again.!! Tip: if I ask for acrylic please just give me what I ask for, and when I show you the picture in the beginning of what nails I want, at that moment before you start ANYTHING please let the customer know that the price will be different so that the customer is aware in the beginning. The nail tech act as if they didn't know the prices. It will help so much ahead of time and save each party so much time. So much for a relaxing time. I wish the experience would have been better especially for the cost. I felt really rushed. Please take this feedback and really make changes on how business is conducted. I live really close, but after today, I will make a drive further to go elsewhere for a better experience. Thank you.

Attention to detail. Friendly. Did an awesome job and did it all in a short amount of time. Hana is very talented! I am especially picky and I had very detailed list of how I like my nails. She was able to remember every thing I explained and was also very gentle. I will definitely be back to see her!

Great service as always. They were packed full of people but I was seated for my pedicure within 10 minutes. And my manicurist worked with a picture I showed her and she put her own spin on it. I think her name is Kay. Heads up, if going on a weekend, I recommend making an appointment.

I brought my daughter to Big Apple Spa & Nails to get her nails done for the first time before her birthday. Tracy asked what we wanted and I showed her a picture of an idea and she did an AMAZING job. The first picture is the idea the 2nd is how they turned out. They also let her pick a gift for her birthday, my daughter picked lotion and loves it We will definitely be back

I tried dipped nails today. They came out beautiful!! I don’t have nice natural nails so these are a great improvement. The lady was fabulous working on my hands & nails. She painted a snowflake on a nail to keep in the festive mood. People are always friendly, courteous, neat & usually don’t have to wait. Great place! I will continue to use their facility.

I’d been getting acrylics here for about 3 months. I noticed some nails started lifting so I told my techs at two different appointments (I had a different one each time) and they just cut my natural nail down a little without sealing it. I had a nail crack and asked if it needed taken off, they said no and just filled it. It ended up breaking a few days later. Went to a new nail tech and she took all my acrylics off and noticed an infected nail from water/bacteria getting under my lifted nail that they did not seal properly. Now I have to wait for it to heal before I’m able to put anything on my nails. If I didn’t get them taken off, it would’ve been much worse and on more nails than just the one. Don’t recommend!

These girls know there stuff, you can definitely get what you want even a massage, eyebrows, lahes, everything there very good go check them out.

Went here for the first time and Hana did my nails and did an amazing job! The employees were all friendly and accommodating and my nails came out beautiful! They even gave me a free lotion as a holiday gift to their clients:) awesome place and would recommend

Ripped my acrylics off my fingers. Made me bleed and ripped my natural nails down to my nail bed. Gave me a service I didn’t ask for (the more expensive one). Nails turned out ugly. Charged to shape my nails.

I called and made appointment got scheduled for 1230pm to see the nail tech Hannah later that day I received a tex msg that my nail tech was going to be off and can her sister Bao do my nail. . I said ....Yes that's fine ..I really appreciated how they communicated and Bao did a very good job!!!

Bao did a wonderful job with my gel pedicure. She took great care to make sure my feet and toes looked nice and healthy. The massage was the cherry on top. I cannot wait to come back again!

Love this place. I’ve been all around Wichita getting my nails done, but once I found Big Apple it’s my go to for nails, pedis, lashes, & waxing.

Never going back. My nail job was rushed and when I asked the nail tech to fix a nail she had a rebuttal, yet fixed what I asked for. I didn't feel welcomed or relaxed.

Walk in appointment fit us in but with a bit of a wait, so worth it. We had massage chairs while we waited and they did a full service and felt like more for a great price. Beautiful French Gel Pedicure, I will be coming back to Big Apple.

You have to come here. Staff is friendly. Pedicure and full set with designs, waxing, and Head Spa were very affordable. This place made me feel like I was paying 10x what they charged me. I felt like royalty. And I'll be back next Friday for the lash services. Thanks to everyone for making my day off an experience I will remember. 😊❤️✌🏼🌺
