Decided to stop by and give this place a chance took my son, we got there and they told me the barber was out to lunch they called him to let him know I was there waiting for him.... Waited 30 minutes walked in just for him to tell me I have 3 people before your son ... Well what a waste of time very unprofessional he could of have told the person that called him....hey let him know I have 3 people waiting for me... Very unprofessional thanks for wasting my time

I found Prissy on Google! She was very kind, punctual, and the scheduling process was seamless. She's an old-school stylist who doesn't require any deposits or has a slew of rules and policies that you need to read. She did a great job on my hair.

Well at least my hair will eventually grow back. It's been a few weeks and I'm still waiting to be over this bad experience with Niki. To be a COMPENTENT stylist, it's necessary to get CONTINUING EDUCATION. Her techniques and product knowledge are very outdated. She did a butcher job on my style cut and when I came back to see if she could do better with a flat iron style, she had me looking very 1980's. This little shop of horrors needs to be closed down permanently and Niki needs to apply at the post office because her hands are not gifted in any way. I'm trying to think of a worse "stylist" than Niki 🤔. I got nothing.

All the stylist are great. They welcome you whether you’re their client or not. Their energy is wonderful and everyone is friendly. Nicky was my stylist and she gave me everything I asked for. I highly recommend this shop and I will be going back!!!

I found the best hair dresser / stylist in the world. Got my hair washed and all my locs were and felt super clean and light like weight off my shoulders. This shop gave me life and I’m not going anywhere else. Go ask for Nicky. She Bomb.

She was so nice and patient with me. Took me in at the last minute and did my hair, along with teaching me how to take care of it. My only problem is when I got home, there were pieces of the mold exposed, which was kind of embarrassing. But still highly recommend.

As soon as I walked in the door, the atmosphere and energy was EVERYTHING. Miss NANCY got me RIGHT!!! And I was a walk-in!! Never met these women before but after being NANCYD, I have DEFINITELY found a new and amazing stylist!!! She definitely earned what I paid ((I feel like I still owe her for the job she did!!!)) I already told EVERYONE I know about Black Beauty Hair SLAYlon ((salon)). LOVED MY SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE 🥰😍🔥🥳🤩

I hardly write reviews but this one has truly rubbed me up the wrong way. I’ve sent numerous texts, tried to call the salon to no avail. A week ago I was helped by a lady named Nancy who kindly agreed to do my frontal lace wig last minute. All was good - until she had finished my hair. I looked in the mirror, the wig was on my forehead not even where my hairline starts! As I was trying to see if I could fix the wig in the salon the glue itself didn’t hold and the wig came off. I told her I was unhappy with the way she did my hair and she said, “well that’s a shame for you.” As I didn’t have time to argue (because I had to drive back an hour back to work) I paid the full amount of $125 and left. I called the salon after having left and told her I was really unhappy and I’d like to come back so that she can fix it. She asked me to text her as she was busy with another client. I texted and called - since that day and still I haven’t received a response. I was more than willing to drive an hour back to the salon so that she could give it another try and fix the mess. I even offered her to at least give me half of my money back because she had put in time and kindly took me last minute - to no avail! This salon has truly left a bitter taste in my mouth especially since I’m all about supporting Black Female Businesses.

I love them they’re so nice and friendly. And love their works especially my girl Nancy she always making always me sweet 16 for my husband and he love all her works! 😍 💕 ❤️ . The boss is sooo nice she carry herself very very simple and regular she’s down to earth 🌍. It’s me y’all west African queen 👸 I love ❤️ every one of y’all you guys my great people keep it up and may the almighty GOD continue to bless y’all fingers in Jesus name amen amen 🙏🏾.
