Halle is great! Nice location and an inviting environment. Good selection of hair products. My daughter is a huge fan too! Her favorite part are the head massages after a wash.

Needed a bang trim in between haircuts. My hairdresser is on Vancouver Island and I live in the mainland. I was driving along Fraser Hwy in Langley and saw the salon. It has a very welcoming exterior and even better interior. It’s got a farmhouse feel and friendly staff. The owner brought me right in and trimmed my bangs and also smoothed out a bit of frizzles from the rain outside. I could tell by how she cut my bangs that she’s very experienced and knows how to cut!! Was very impressed with the service and salon! I also bought a hair repair product as I get highlights done a couple of times a year and want to keep my hair healthy looking.

I got a haircut from Courtney, and she is truly a master at her job. She was quick and wonderful with her haircutting skills. I will definitely be going back for more hair services!

This experience made me no longer trust reviews,This is a worst experience。their service is terrible ,no respect for people s time booked an appointment and when i get there i was told my name didnt exist in the system. and price is super high Simple hair dyeing needs 160 per hour and 4 hours to finished it if include hair cut and others totally cost will be 1000. .....charge this much money but she even not sure can do the colour what i ask ?

Had Balayage done here by Beya in early April and I’m super happy with it. Having some highlights in has changed everything. Definitely will be back when it’s time for a touch up :)

I had an amazing experience with Halle who looked after me for my first hair appointment 3 months post partum. She listened to my ideas and translated it into the exact colour I wanted. So happy to have nice hair again after months of just wearing it tied up. 10/10 recommend! Thank you!

Not only does she do a perfect job on my hair but her knowledge and experience blows me away. She takes the time to understand what your looking for and suggests what would be best for you. In the past I would normally salon hop for my haircuts and treatments because I never found one I truly liked enough. I went to black orchid a few months ago for my first haircut appointment with Sierra and it was really good experience! Then yesterday I got their cezanne keratin treatment done by her as well and again another great appointment. She is very nice and friendly!! And the whole office ambiance is great. I'm happy I have found a place I can stick to now.

Melissa is a very talented/creative hair stylist. I have been seeing her for 2 years now for hair styling/colouring. I get compliments of how great and healthy my hair is all the time. She has a great sense of balance and always give the right advice. She is very personable and accommodating. I admire how she cares so much about her clients and always giving her best. Extremely unprofessional. Have no respect for people’s time. Booked an appointment two weeks in advance and did assessments online. At the day of my appointment, had to time off from work and pay for babysitting and then I was told my name didn’t exist in the system! I was told I was left a voice message which I never received! I will obviously never go back.

I found Black Orchid a few months back when I was last minute searching for an opening for a shampoo & style & thankfully the lovely Sierra was available! Sierra is such a beam of light & hilarious human! With every appointment booked, we would talk more & more, I ended up doing a full service with her, cut, colour the works. Sierra was amazing at calming my anxiety (it was a big change) & reassuring me every step of the way & ended with such a beautiful outcome! I'm very thankful I found Black Orchid, the staff are so friendly & uplifting, it's overall just an amazing environment! & I'm so very thankful to have found Sierra! ♡ I would 1000% recommend checking this place out!!

I had an appointment with Erin for a haircut. The end result was great; exactly what I asked for. She also shared lots of tips on how to style my wavy hair and minimize the frizz, which I really appreciated! She used a diffuser and walked me through the different products she used. I am very pleased with the results. My hair is now super wavy, with hardly any frizz :)

I have had such a rocky hairdressing experience at previous salons and I have been there 3 times so far with my next colouring session booked!! I came in with previously dyed red hair word a dream of having a nice blonde balayage. Emma has been working super hard and I am loving how my hair looks! She’s super kind and funny and listens to my hair goals and tells me what she is going to do to help me achieve them!! I love her!

I've had my haircut here a handful of times over the last few years. It's a very cute salon, and everyone there is generally friendly and there's a good product selection. I haven't regularly seen one stylist but the few I have were pretty good. Decent place for a haircut overall.

This is the second time I came in for just a haircut and I left very dissatisfied both times as my experiences were similar. The hairdresser came across very impatient and did not offer me anything to drink as other stylists were offering their clients drinks. My hair was also left unstyled after I said I wanted it curled. It appeared the hairdressers would rather take care of clients who required more treatment, even though I am still a paying customer. The only hairstylist that has been great is Arla, however she has very limited availability. My sister has also had the exact same experiences both times she’s went as well.

Welcoming and comfortable salon. Not only do they do a great job on their social media platforms but they educate you on their products, their salon and their stylists. As someone who was afraid to add any colour to my hair, Erin made me feel at ease by listening to my concerns and suggested adding toner. Super happy with the results.
