I had to get in a haircut before moving out of state and found Black Orchid. Jessie was simply wonderful - professional, insightful and so fun to talk to! Plus she has a cute little Boston Terrier ❤️ 10/10 recommend this place!

I have been going to Jessie for over 10 years now, and I absolutely love her! She is SO talented, and I always leave her salon feeling so confident and happy with my hair. I am a risk-taker with my style, and I often have a new idea to try when I see her, and she definitely encourages my creativity, but she does not hesitate to speak up if she has a suggestion/tweak to my vision. And because of this, I always LOVE my hair when I leave. Can't say enough about her - if you need that final push to book your appointment, DO IT!!!

This cool? Excellent service, fantastic people, comfortable environment. Can’t say enough good things about Jessie. Years ago I grew my hair out and hadn’t had it cut in years, I was terrified and didn’t want to cut almost canceled my appointment. I went in Jessie made me comfortable along with Pugs. She sat me down with a nice glass of wine and gave an excellent haircut. I’ve been going back ever since and that was three years ago. She always is responsive and excellently priced. She also recently just gave me my haircut for my wedding and my Fiance is so happy with it she loves it, I love it. 10/10 -Tom

Booked an appointment for my wife when we were on a trip to Denver. They fit her in on a Sat morning despite my piss poor planning....the atmosphere is very chill and calming..and the staff is so friendly. My wife loves her hair and so do I.

I visited this stylist and her partner for over 10 years. I had no complaints. I always tipped over 30%. When I had to cancel last minute due to being covid positive, I was met with no compassion or sympathy and was charged for $80. Do not recommend!!!!!

I went to Brea (Bear) to get a big hair transformation! I had tons of highlight overgrowth and wanted to go super blonde with pink ends! Brea and I met for a consultation where she was super open to my ideas as well as letting me ask for her ideas. She was upfront about costs, expectations, and time. The hair appointment was as expected and went flawlessly! She always explained what she was doing and why. The studio is clean and full of plants which I liked. I am super grateful to Brea for making my hair look so amazing with the cut and color. I will definitely be going back for all my hair needs in the future.

Super cute space with cozy vibes and amazing professionalism. All of the stylists are so friendly and welcoming! Tyler provided such a fantastic cut, style, and fun conversation. He gave me some great product, styling, and additional service recommendations, without ever trying to push anything. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a regular spot in Denver!

Today is Sunday and it was rough trying to get in somewhere to get a haircut and Jessie Laney was able to get me in and she is really really nice and I felt so welcomed here. I finally found my hairstylist and it’s been a long time!! I Love Love Love my haircut and I highly recommend her!

Tyler gave me a haircut that is so fresh and new, I love it. My boyfriend said my hot level definitely went way up. :) Tyler takes time to listen and provide feedback on your thoughts for your hair. I am really looking forward to a color after he consulted with my cut. The salon is lovely and very comfortable.

I saw Brea Renee here and had such a fabulous experience! I got a transformative haircut from her and it was better than I could have hope for. Everyone I interacted with at the studio was friendly and welcoming, and Brea thought ahead about what different ways I may wear my hair and how she needed to cut accordingly. I will absolutely be back despite the fact that I live an hour away and pass by many many salons on my way here — they’re that good!

Jessie is the best! She does amazing color and cuts. The studio is also cool, while still feeling really comfortable. It took me awhile to find my go-to salon after moving here, but I definitely have found it now!

Tyler definitely delivered. I had no idea what I wanted and he helped me choose the right color and the cut was fabulous! The ambiance was very relaxing and I loved all the different kinds of plants they have, I will be returning!

Tyler is an amazing hairstylist. Every time I have gotten my hair done by him, it exceeds my expectations. I used to have really thick, long hair, but it all fell out due to malnutrition and I didn't feel like myself anymore. Tyler fixed the color and made my hair feel healthier again and turned it into icy blonde. it improved my confidence so much, He's the best!
