I've gone to jackie only twice, and I will be going back to her from now on! She gave me my favorite haircut in a while, and gave me a gloss and style. She is very attentive and fun to talk to as well.

Kaydee is an amazing stylist. She is professional, kind, and very attentive. I had been looking for a new stylist for years and I finally found a person who gets me. She was great at listening to what I was hoping to accomplish and she executed flawlessly. While I did get my hair cut, I was mostly going to her to help color and style my beard. I immediately felt understood by her and the results are exactly what I wanted. I'll keep coming back to Blades in the future.

I am a University of Arizona freshman. I was looking for a clean cut that was affordable. I had a great experience. Super close to campus and wonderful service and conversation. 10/10 would recommend.

Love the way KayDee listens to my wishes and struggles with my straight, fine hair. Her haircuts and color treatments are a collaboration between the artist/expert and me. Each appointment she educates me on something, be it hair growth patterns or product use.

I went here in 2023 to get a hair cut and color. I was satisfied with the hair outcome, but not with the attitude of the stylist. She repeatedly called my hair "thin" and "gnarly." She claimed that blow drying heats the hair to 400 degrees (which does not seem to be true for hair dryers, maybe if you were talking about a flat iron) and that my hair was damaged from blow drying it. She also mentioned an expensive/lengthy service another stylist at the salon provides where they trim each hair individually. It almost seemed like she was trying to make me insecure enough about my hair that I'd schedule that service. I have been to many different hair salons and never had a stylist be rude about my hair before.

BEST SALON EVER!! They took me in for an emergency bad hair day I had and saved my hair. And as a girl with long curly hair I am so thankful they could save my hair instead of having to chop it off short! If I could I would give them 10 stars!! 10/10 I highly recommend this place! The service was wonderful and she was very sweet and understanding. She did a wonderful beautiful job of saving my hair! Thank you to the women that helped me and thank you Blades Hair Design <3

Hooti is an absolute ARTIST. I am 70 and have had too many hair stylists to count. Hooti is the FIRST to know how to work with all my cowlicks. I don’t have to do a thing with my hair and it looks fantastic just getting out of bed. Love you Hooti.

I have been a barber kind of guy for my entire life. My visit today made me more confident in my look and furthered my knowledge about my own hair. I highly recommend blades hair design. Today was my second time going there and both times Ive gotten an excellent haircut. I've had both Kaydee and Kayla and both of them did a fantastic job. From my experience what differentiates Blades from other places is that the hairstylists really seem to care about your haircut, they will work with you to get the look you want and personalize it to your hair and your face. Its obvious they have a tremendous amount of pride in there work and take great care and responsibility for what they do. Plus they guarantee their haircuts by saying that if you notice any issues in the following week you can give them a call and the will touch up any areas free of charge. The atmosphere in blades is also super fun and you must give them a try if you live in or are visiting Tucson!

Kaydee is incredible! The first time I went to Blades, my hair was in the middle of being grown out and I had no idea what to do with it. I was also super nervous, it was my first time going to a place like this, and I didn’t know what to expect as a transfem person. Kaydee was super understanding and respectful, even taking time with me to look at different hair styles she thought may interest me. I ended up getting a cut I really really like, and honestly have never been more comfortable with my hair. She also gave me lots of advice on hair care and offered free clean ups! I also had my eyebrows done recently and I'm really happy with her work!

Kaydee just gave me one of the prettiest shades of blonde, I have ever had. The salon is eclectic, and relaxing to be in. The staff is very kind and sweet. Highly recommend!

Kayla was so awesome, heard exactly what I wanted and executed my vision perfectly. She spent so long making everything perfect. Even though Kaydee did not cut my hair she still sat and joined in on our conversations when there wasn’t anyone else in the store. They were both super friendly, and I’m so happy:)

This was my first time at Blades and I loved it!! I will definitely be going back. Kayla cut and styled my hair and she did an amazing job. The salon is quirky and the atmosphere is great. I wish I had the guts to do something a bit funky with my hair as they’re up for it & I know they’d do a fabulous job.

I got a horrible haircut and went to Blades to get it fixed. My hair was cut unevenly, had an undercut and my bangs were blocks. I expressed that I didn't want to cut my hair shorter and Kayla, without cutting much made my hair look amazing. Kayla is so sweet and good at listening to what you want. She's the best hairdresser I've been to. I've gotten so many complements on my hair.

I have been a client of kaydee for about a year now and had recently took my wife there to get a haircut. My wife was extremely nervous given that she hadnt cut her hair in almost five years. however kaydee was very welcoming, listened to all of my wifes concerns & reassured and consolidated her every step of the way. we were very happy with the results and lucky to be able to find such an outstanding hairdresser.

I was really nervous going from the copper colour I’ve had all my life to a dark chocolate brown but Kaydee was amazing! She helped me pick out the right colour after carefully listening to what I wanted, she also cut and styled it beautifully! Exactly what I wanted! Super friendly and attentive to all my needs. I would 100% recommend, I definitely won’t be going anywhere else from now on!

Kaydee was professional and courteous. She understood what I asked for and what I desired my hair to look like and took baby steps to achieve it without taking too much off. My three kids wanted haircuts and/or color treatments. The lovely people of Blades gave us very thorough consultations and were able to fulfill the kids’ wishes perfectly. When my daughter’s red hair color didn’t quite turn out as expected at first because her hair didn’t hold onto it, the stylist took the time to reapply and adjust the color so she got the result she wanted. I’ve made an appointment for myself now with Kaydee. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, it was so nice to meet you lovely ladies!

Nadine is a genius with color! I left Blades today & haven't stopped smiling. I absolutely love the color, it's gorgeous. She's been my hairdresser for more than 20 years and I have never been disappointed. Make an appointment with her, you won't regret it.

Shout out to Kayla for giving me the best hair; full head of beautiful blonde highlights! My hair is definitely not the easiest but she stayed positive the entire time and after almost 6 hours; I left extremely satisfied. I trusted her coloring advice and I cannot be any more satisfied.

Came by Blades today to see some art by Kandle, a local artist. Very abstract, unique, and definitely something you don't see. Beautiful Christmas gifts or just something to hang in your home. Prices were fair for what was put into it. Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. Definetly will come back to buy some art and get my hair done.
