I bought a brush that I was VERY excited to use, I was thinking on buying for my girls and my clients, After taxes & shipping it cost me $43, all to receive a very scuffed up Brushed, it looks used, but what is upsetting is the fact that I’ve reached out and I have yet to hear anything back.

Update: After the owner responded to this review, I reached out via Instagram to give them a chance to maybe make this right. Never heard a word back. It has been months. I have waited for quite a while to make this review but I still feel so strongly about this that it was time. In 2020/21, I went to Bleach Reno 2-3 times. The first couple times were good, really no complaints. The final time, however, in 2021, I left with half the hair I went in with. I LOVED my long natural blonde hair and just had them touching it up. Would always say no haircut just a trim. They must have left the bleach in too long or something because they decided this time to give me an extreme haircut that I would have never asked or approved. They never said one word to me during the process about issues and it seems like they just cut it to cover up what had happened. 3 years later and it’s still struggling to grow back and has never been the same. When I cancelled my next appt after this fiasco, this salon tried to sell me $2k worth of hair extensions to bridge me through until it could grow back. I am completely devastated every time I look at my hair and I’ve tried so many things to help it grow back. Pictures show before vs after. Marissa was my stylist for all appts.

I've been transitioning to natural gray for the past few years. I was at the point that I needed some color correction at the ends of my hair. After extensive searching, I found a few recommendations for Bleach Salon in Reno. I requested a consultation and received a response immediately. I met with Carly and she gave great feedback / suggestions. I was so lucky she had a cancellation and was able to book an appointment just a few days after the consultation. Carly truly listened to my concerns and desires for transitioning to natural gray, and the results were absolutely stunning. I really felt like she listened to what I hoped to achieve and then infused her extensive experience in delivering exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend Carly and Bleach Salon.

Sydney puts a lot of care and thought into her work and it really shows. I trust her to make the best decisions for the health of my hair while still achieving my goals aesthetically. Additionally she’s very nice and easy to talk to. As for the salon, it’s a very luxe experience. They truly thought of everything, from the complimentary snacks to the sinks they wash your hair in (to die for.) Update: After seeing Sydney for about a year I moved to Portland, OR for a job opportunity. I tried a stylist in my new city and was soooo disappointed with my experience. I went back to see Sydney about a month and a half later and she was so understanding and got my hair back to how I wanted it. The client experience here is something I’ve yet to see at any other salon. So much thought goes into every minute of your appointment. I’ll literally be catching flights from here on out to be able to go to Sydney—she’s that good! Don’t spend your money anywhere else!

This salon canceled on me one week before my graduation. Whoever I was texting with was beyond rude. Like BEYOND. There is not a single salon in Reno that can get you in with a weeks notice for a hair health type of treatment, extensions, and then photoshoot hair styling. What was supposed to be an exciting and fun milestone day for me, turned in to a disastrous nightmare. I cried at my sink all morning just trying to do something with my hair. My face looked puffy from all the crying. The pictures that I will have forever to remember this moment are horrible because I could not do my hair and I was obviously crying all morning. I’m still blown away by how rude they were over ruining my day. Thanks. It was definitely a memorable graduation.

Bleach is by far the best experience along with the amazing color every stylist provides. Each stylist is very friendly and make you feel like your absolute best. They don’t just provide a hair color service, but instead give you a whole experience. They offer drinks and snacks to really allow yourself to relax and let them work their magic. I cannot recommend this place enough. Every single stylist takes their time to understand what you are looking for, teaches you how they plan to achieve that, and are also realistic about what they can and can’t do which is hard to find. You will not find another salon better than this in Reno. I have been going to Krista for several years and my hair has never been healthier or looked this good with any other stylist. She takes care of my blonde hair without damaging it like other stylists have in the past. Before I found Krista, my hair was always breaking from the bleach and color. Since I started seeing Krista, my hair has grown from shoulder length to my lower back while still staying bright blonde. She is truly the best in Reno.

I recently moved to Reno, NV in January 2022 and found Krista via Instagram, little did I know I was about to receive the best hair experience of my life. In the past I’ve had trouble finding a hairstylist who meets my needs, seeing as how I every other hairstylist I’ve gone to has turned my hair orange with brassy undertones. The moment Krista turned me into a blonde was the moment I realized I truly had never experienced what it’s like to have good hair. She makes you feel like Kim Kardashian while her and her assistant Maria both blow dry your hair at the same time and let me tell you, that is the definition of self-care right there. Krista is professional, organized and was literally put on this earth to give women the hair of their dreams. I will be a loyal client to this women till the day I die. I went to Bleach for the first time last weekend. I actually went in to see a new girl there who was technically still training, so I was trying to keep my expectations in check just in case. I’ve been coming to Krista for 7 years now and I will NEVER go anywhere else! This girl brought my fried, short, red tinted hair to long healthy & balayage! I moved out of state and will still forever travel to Krista, she makes it easy to go months between appointments (9 months later and my hair still looks bomb). Krista Storm is my hair fairy godmother and a master at her craft! My hair was THE DARKEST natural hair and she made my blonde dreams come true while keeping me realistic and my hair healthy. She’s fantastic! Along with her assistant, Maria! When I couldn’t make my schedule work, Sydney also did a partial for me and KILLED IT! As well as all the ladies at Bleach! Krista, the salon owner is amazing! I love getting blonde in my hair, but want it to look natural and Krista nails it every time! Krista brings in other educators for continuing education in her salon which feels good! And when I'm in her chair getting my hair done, I see the hair being done in the other chairs and it's awesome too! I love how the salon feels, its designed in a fun way and everyone is always friendly! I'm happy with my hair every single time. And the way Krista does my hair, it is so good and I can go longer between appointments and my hair looks good for months! This place and the hair you can get here is so worth it!

Wow!! I absolutely LOVE this place!! I’ve gotten my hair done by Marissa and she was absolutely amazing! Her knowledge on hair color and ability to achieve my hair goals was so great!
