Actually so disappointed. I had a blow out and paid extra for a head massage. I don’t live here and had to come to Albuquerque for a family emergency. I literally had an hour I thought would be well served getting my hair washed blown dry since I had no tools or products with me. The head massage was a needed splurge. When I left my hair looked ok, kinda flat, but clean right? But as the day went on the back of my head became itchy and the hair next to my scalp felt greasy (I don’t have oily hair at all). The only thing I can think of is the rinse was incomplete. There was ZERO head massage unless you count when she rubbed the shampoo or conditioner in, maybe 15-30 seconds of relaxing, wish I was exaggerating. I would take another star off but I take responsibility for sort of checking out, my brain really needed that hour off. The tech was nice, the staff friendly and from what I say the salon was clean but I won’t be back.

stylist was nice but didn’t give me at all what i asked for. asked for a blowout and instead got a blowout and curls. curls were weird and she even missed a spot that i had to point out myself. for $60 id expect more but that on me for coming here last minute and not trying to find a salon

Had my hair done today with some beach waves by Zoe and I love it! They are really nice and considerate there. Offer you water and you just relax and let them make you beautiful!

I came in with extremely matted and tangled hair it was to the point where other salons were turning me around and were not able to do anything about it … then i came to know about this salon … when i tell you they fixed my extremely matted & tangled hair in no time without any judgement I was extremely surprised and genuinely happy and thankful to the team because I almost gave up hope on my hair. Their team and their boss worked together to fix my hair. I was impressed by their kindness, their amazing services , amazing teamwork and they also made sure I was okay and hydrated throughout my sessions. You will walk out of this salon looking and feeling amazing I guarantee you that!

I picked Blo for my bridal hair and make up. I decided to carry the test before since I was very nervious about it not turning how I wanted it. Let me tell you that I was surprised with the care that Sara took to do my hair and it lasted me for at least 2 days. My wedding day the hair held perfectly exactly how I wanted it. The make up was also amazing and they really worry to get feedback as they recreate the desired look. I could not be happier with the work they did. They are just Amazing!!!

Oh my goodness, this place is fantastic! It’s a fun experience; the stylists are all super sweet and knowledgeable. I felt my stylist listened to my hair concerns and did her best to meet my hair goals. I’ll definitely be returning!

Sara and Heather did a wonderful job doing the hair for my wedding. They traveled to our site the morning of, and they were incredibly kind and professional. Each bridesmaid chose a unique style (one just curled, some elaborate braids, and several up-do's). Every single style they knocked out of the park. I would highly recommend using the blo bar for any of your hair needs. During my trial, Sara did a great job at listening to what I wanted and perfectly created the up-do I wanted for my wedding day. She was amazing! I got a blow out done the day before my wedding as my hair is naturally very textured and curly. It worked perfectly and saved time the morning of the wedding. I was able to interact with Mia and Margarita to set up the contract. They were both very kind and communicative. My experience with the blo bar was amazing.

noemi did the best blowout on my hair! she’s so sweet and personable. she has a contagious laugh and made my visit so enjoyable. i definitely recommend her for any hair needs! i’ll be back again to have her braid my hair!

I wish I could give a review on a service I actually received. I’m only here due to the fact that I have tried contacting this salon for information on special occasion services/pricing since March. I talked to one girl in March and was told someone else would have to call me back to give me that information. I never received a call so I’ve tried again and again and always get their voicemail that they’re not able to make it to the phone (which I understand considering they’re busy doing hair) so they have an AI bot that will send a text so you can request an appointment or whatever it is you’re calling for. However, I cannot have my questions answered by a bot. I've heard nothing but good about this salon and was really hoping to get more information for my wedding but I guess I’ll have to look elsewhere.

If you can tolerate toxic smells. This place needs better ventilation or leave the front doors open! They spray your hair with so much toxic smelling chemical sprays! Keep that in mind as you sit amongst that and all the other people getting sprayed at the same time all in the same room!

Words cannot express how thankful I am for Julia and I am sorry I can't recall the other young lady at the front for the service the provided. These two lovely ladies took such good care of my dear 87 year old friend who has dementia. She hasn't had her hair washed in a few weeks and I was eager to find a place where she herself would allow them to touch her hair. Julia was so very kind and gentle with her and my friend was very comfortable and happy. Julie washed, conditioned, and dried her hair and my friend sat still during the entire time. This speaks to who Julia is at heart. Julia...I am back home but just wanted to take time to say, THANK YOU for loving what you do, but more importantly, being so king to those you do it for. I am forever grateful.

10/10 experience they always have me looking good, from a basic blowout with straight hair to absolutely slaying my makeup! I love it here and definitely recommend getting a blo membership! Locks me in at the same price forever, 2 blowouts a month, gives me 5$ off every blowout, and 10% off all retail sales. I couldn't live without my blowouts!!

Disappointed that after I canceled my wedding hair because I did not like how it looked after spending the whole day with my bridal hair trial. I was not able to get my $150 deposit back for my wedding appointment. I understand it’s a 30 day cancellation but the trail was scheduled within the 30 day.. that is just bad business and never had a salon charge a deposit …so if you don’t like your hair trail be prepared to pay for your $130 trail + $150 deposit for the cancel appointment you made.

I have been to this location twice & have enjoyed both experiences! The ladies are kind & do what hairstyle I want perfectly! I do have tape in extensions & they are able to give me the blow outs I need properly! Love this place & will def be back!

This is my favorite place to go to pamper myself! There is magic in the products they use. My blow outs last perfectly throughout the entire week and I don’t even need dry shampoo! I do use their dry conditioner which I LOVE! The staff at Blo is kind, talented, and so fun to hang out with for an hour while you get your hair done. Mia and Sara have both done my hair and they are fantastic! Sign up for the twice a month plan! You’ll wonder how you ever went without it before!
