Google Review: I really wanted to like this salon, but my experience has been nothing but frustrating. When I first scheduled an appointment, I was told I didn’t need to pay a deposit. Then, when I added a service, they suddenly insisted I had to pay one. Every time I booked, they kept bringing it up—even after I was reassured multiple times that it wasn’t necessary. The front desk staff seems completely clueless, giving different answers every time I called. To make matters worse, I asked for a specific color and ended up with highlights I didn’t want. I had to come back to get it fixed, which was another ordeal because rescheduling with them is nearly impossible. They act like you’re inconveniencing them just for needing an adjustment, and the attitude makes you feel like you’re committing a crime. Overall, they don’t seem to care about keeping clients, and the disorganization is exhausting. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I travel for work and went to Blo this weekend for a quick last minute blowout for a gala I attended. Not only did Blo accommodate my appointment last minute but the staff went above and beyond for me. They were so kind during the booking process and the entire appointment. I was even greeted with a “nosh platter” (antipasto) upon arrival. You could tell everyone there loves what they do! Raina was the absolutely perfect stylist that did my hair and I couldn’t be happier! When I said I have flat, straight / fine hair no one that night would have believed me. The curls held volume all night!!! I even got to enjoy them brushed out the next day. The products she used were perfection and she was so nice!! I am so happy and can’t wait to go back to Blo to see Raina on my next trip to Raleigh! Highly recommend!!! 😊

I had an amazing experience with Kacey! She was super sweet and I really love the customer service here! One thing I will say is I wish they would’ve told me how you must tip cash or if you tip with card you want to let them know asap. Not everyone likes paying for atm fees. Other than that I would definitely recommend this place! My hair looks amazing and really excited to continue coming here for future appointments with kacey!

I asked for waves and came out looking like a poodle. The person who did my hair was very nice so it might have been a miscommunication on my part but it was very disappointing

I've been going to Blo for over a decade, and always recommend the salon to friends looking for a great place with talented hair designers. If you're looking for an excellent colorist, book Jen - she's a genius at color (and cuts) and always has me walking out of my appointment feeling like a movie star! Blo's online scheduling and text reminders are super helpful, and customer service is obviously a priority. Seriously, this is hands down the best hair salon in the Triangle!

I've tried 3 different stylists at this location for a short pixiecut. the first two were lower tier stylists, one made me look like a boy and the second one was afraid to shape and left it boxy. The 3rd appointment, I requested a top tier trainer. She took so much off that 3 weeks later, I still look bald and thinned it so much that when I shower or if the wind blows, I can see bald spots! Buyer beware!

Pricing is insane!! I was trying to schedule to have my pixie/bob cleaned up and the quote was $173 or $105 for the lowest level stylist. I have seen some amazingly talented stylist in my life and never been charged almost $200 just for a cut, especially a pixie/bob (I hardly have any hair). I feel like the stylist are a bit out of touch!

I can't say enough good things about booking my first appointment with Blo! In the past I have had appointments at other salons where I was matched with a stylist who didn't want to do my type of hair cut and or color. Salon Blo uses SnapSnip which ensures you are not only booked for the correct services but that you are also matched with a stylist who is best for your current hair and hair goals. I spoke with a receptionist named Kelsey and I can't speak highly enough of her! I cannot stress enough how nice she was to me and how interested she was in understanding exactly what I wanted. She took the time to listen to me and then made sure she suggested a stylist who she thought would be the best fit based off my SnapSnip. She genuinely seemed to care and I can’t tell you how much that meant to me.

I haven’t gotten my hair done in a couple years. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences in the past so I was extremely nervous. I’m so glad that I went to Blo! I LOVE my hair! It’s so healthy now and I love the brown! Jasmine did an amazing job 🩷
