I’m scared of hair cuts/trims. It is very rare I allow anyone to touch my hair due to many past experiences with people doing what they want instead of what I ask for. My boyfriend goes to Garrett for haircuts and recommended him for my hair cut. I was skeptical considering I’ve never let a male cut my hair. Plus it had been about 4 years since my last hair cut, which I cried over for a few months because the person took off way too much hair and it was not blended very well. I took a chance by going to Garrett. I highly recommend him! He listens to you and does not just go in and do the opposite of what you ask. I’ve had two hair trims this year, which is saying a lot because I do not normally even get my hair trimmed at all for years at a time. Sometimes you may have hair that needs to be cut, but you’re just not ready to have that much cut off. I appreciate how he educates you about your hair, but also respects your hair boundaries. The first time I got a little less trimmed. By my second time going I was a little more confident in having more length cut. As a person with curly/wavy hair, we know that sometimes our hair is just lacking moisture and isn’t always completely dead. So I am very thankful he doesn’t take it upon himself to “trim” off what feels dry. I have not been disappointed at all going to this salon and letting Garrett wash, cut & style my hair. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service is exceptional. Upside down pic is when I decided to get layers and let go of some length. Second picture was the first trim which left my length and I had no layers. (The side pieces of from my cutting my own hair) Last pic with Christmas tree is my hair (heatless curled) but mostly natural before the first cut.

Great Salon! Very skilled stylists. I’ve been getting my hair done by Beverley since I moved to Baton Rouge 10 years ago. She’s wonderful! Call ahead for appointments because she stays booked!
