Unfortunately, I tried to call to make an appointment after reading many nice reviews. I was unable to reach anyone and just planned to call later. I received a text from an unrecognized number, that simply said "can I call you later", I replied, "who is this?" and woke up the following day to this message "Why are you calling my # and asking who WE ARE?" "A hair salon" To be clear, I never called the number these messages came from, and I'm not from here so I absolutely had no idea who was messaging me. This is the only establishment where I called and didn't actually speak to someone and then had these very rude messages the following day. I'm very disappointed as I was genuinely hoping to find a nice salon to have my hair done regularly close to home.

Just went about a month ago. I was hesitant to make a review. I have a few things I didn’t like. First off, Gina pulls hair a lot, she’s not very tactful. I’m not saying she is not talented, she definitely is but she’s very rough.....I was not happy about that...my hair looked beautiful at the end but, after a couple of showers in warm water, not hot, warm my hair dye kept falling out. Whatever product she uses is super cheap and I paid $500 with tip!!! I don’t think I will be coming back here.

She took 20 inches off and gave me the most FABULOUS Bob! I love it! I won't be going anywhere else. This is probably the 1st time I ever walked out of a salon LOVING the cut and style.

Gina Martinez is an AMAZING artist,stylist and business owner!! I have been a client of hers for many years. Every time I have an appointment with her, I receive a warm welcome,excellent service and ALWAYS a creative and modern hair style. I love her confidence and honesty!!

I have never in my life experienced such a talented professional as Gina. I honestly believe she is the best hairstylist in Denver and maybe even the whole country. She did things to my hair that I never knew was possible and I was so surprised by how healthy it was after all the treatments she did. This woman is beyond anything else that is out there and I absolutely insist people give her a try! You will not be disappointed!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MY HAIR! Gina is amazing! I walked in with a fried, bleached, brassy, mismatched mess and walked out with beautiful icey blonde hair that looks and feels SOOOO healthy! I cannot recommend booking an appointment with Gina enough- she has tons of experience and is seriously a miracle worker!! Love my new icy blonde look! ❤

My first time with Gina was absolutely amazing! She was honest and very upfront with each step of the way and reality of the outcome. She took the time to listen & research what we wanted & needed during our appointment. Her assistant, Angel, was such a huge help and contributed to our satisfaction as well! Gina's work is absolutely AMAZING and has gained a continued customer! Give her a try - You will NOT regret it!! I feel like a million bucks!! Thank you, Gina!!

This place use to be great, but not anymore.. called to see a master stylist and they got me in, supposedly, due to a cancellation. I got an appointment with the owner, and thought ‘great!’.. but nope. Firstly I just wanted a cut and all over color, and though I have spent $400 on a hair appointment was not looking to spend over $200 today- when I was going over the options with the owner and ideas got expensive I mentioned I wasn’t planning on dropping that kind of money today- and from that point was treated like a low life. Was given an assistant to apply color who didn’t even know what one of the products she was using was?! If you make an appointment with a senior stylist there is a reason.. I wanted a long exaggerated A-Line and walked out with a choppy bob. So mad. And the owner cut my hair? I’ve been growing my hair for a year and told her I wanted the front as long as possible and the back shorter=exaggerates A-Line.. now I dropped $260 and HATE my hair.. No wonder that place was empty. It use to be so busy all the time, but quality and service has just went down hill... Bad. Don’t recommend and will never go there again.

This salon is run by a rude catty woman who only wants to associate with other rude blonde catty women, there’s a reason it’s called blondies. They don’t want you there unless you’re a basic superficial human being. There are plenty of accepting places that don’t judge their clients to go to.

I cannot speak for the other stylist's talent but for the one i saw I say DO NOT GO HERE! The "top stylist" Gwen, massively overcharges, doesn't know how to style hair or listen to what you want. I was charged twice what was quoted (she pushes treatments on you so much and is so busy with other clients that i felt i couldn't ask questions to clarify what was being done!) and then shoved out the door with no advice on the extra products i bought. The only good thing about Blondies was the stylist's assistant (Sierra) who was fun, kind and actually listened to how i wanted my hair to be (unfortunately she was scuppered by the stylist and i left looking like a frizzy poodle). There was palpable tension between the stylists and the assistants throughout the whole salon. I was sorely disappointed with the entire experience. Never going back.

I do love all the stylists at Blondies, however, I did get tired of waiting for stylists when they are almost always running behind. I got in the habit of calling ahead to see if they were on time before I left work, and they would always say they were on time, but waiting 20 minutes was not unusual, and one time I waited 45 minutes after I had confirmed she was on time, that was one of the last times I have ever been there, my time is valuable and it wasn't worth the hassle, and just about that time the parking situation had become even more difficult. My stylist is now gone so I won't be back, but it's really too bad because I really loved the styling there!

I recently went back to Blondies and had pleasure and necessity to see Kaytie Ricard and assistant Ashley. The need was due to a very unfortunate mistake of going to a different salon, and Kaytie had to perform a miracle. My blonde locks had been moved to the 90’s with orange tones and harsh stripes… there was a nightmare walking into her chair. Kaytie and Ashley were fantastic! Kaytie asked many questions to make sure I was comfortable with the tone of blonde I wanted, but was even honest about saying that she wouldn’t cut my hair until it grew out a bit from other persons job. I was in tears talking to them both, and thinking my hair would take a year to fix. But a few hours later…it was a transformation. Happiness was back!! Blonde creaminess, bits of lowlight, and the touches of highlight framing face had returned. I have since been back 8 weeks later for another “touch up” and it looks even better. Both are friendly and talented, best of all I feel beautiful walking out of salon. Thank you to both, and I will see you in 8 weeks.

Moved to Colorado and nervously started the search for a new hairdresser after 2 appointments that left my hair looking even worse than I walked in I found blondies salon and Cassidy and wow they made me look and feel like a million dollars! Very professional reaonably pricked and fast Cassidy gave me an amazing cut and color job was spot on!! Great salon. Excellent experience. I will Be back thank you Cassidy!

My girlfriend has come here a few times and she isn't one to do reviews online, but I feel like something should be said as to how well they do here. She usually gets a hair cut at the same time as getting her hair colored. Usually red or purple, and they do a great job. They are very personable and friendly. Whenever I come in they are very welcoming and friendly to me, and I appreciate how well they treat my girlfriend as well as how good of a job they do here!!!

Shea gave me and my sister and niece blowouts for our girls day out and she was fantastic!!! We all have different hair types and she made us all look great! She is talented beyond belief and she also went with our excited mood and made the experience so much fun!!! I love blondies!!!!and we love Shea!
