This was my first time at the salon & saw Leiah. My only complaint is that I didn't find her sooner. She took so much time talking to me, learning about my hair, and what my goals were. I left with a complete refresh & could not be happier.

The place is beautiful, cleaned, elegant and very relaxed the service is fantastic, and the girls super professionals, Teresa was the one who made my hair and loved the result .... I will definitely come back

Got a refreshing summer cut from Desire. She did a great job working with my very thick hair. I enjoyed my first appointment so I made another appointment to get a color. I love how the color turned out. Desire is an awesome stylist!

had my hair cut and styled by the lovely Teresa. as a curly girl, i’m always apprehensive of a haircut , but today i put my fate in Teresa’s hands and this girl KNOWS her way around some curls, yall. i have worn my hair in the same boring cut my whole life and was ready for a change and Teresa nailed it. she gave a me cut that accentuates my curls , adding volume and shape. it is exactly what i wanted and i couldn’t be happier ! she also walked me through how to style and care for my curls so i can replicate at home. and hello we’re having a bangs moment ! if you’re looking for a stylist, i highly recommend. for the literal first time ever, i am so excited to go back for my next cut !

My girl Taylor really did her thing!!! This last summer I came to Taylor after my first blonding didn’t exactly go as planned I sent her inspiration pictures then booked with her on instagram. She fixed me hair and I was extremely happy! Yesterday I decided to go back to my natural color with extensions! Tonight was my first night sleeping with them and they are so comfortable I don’t even notice they are there! I’m very very happy and omg I look so good! She’s the best stylist I have ever met I would recommend anyone I know to her!

Bloom Beauty Bar is a beautiful vibrant spa with an LA feel. All the plants give it a tranquil relaxing vibe, very cool atmosphere. Teresa has been my stylist for many years, there isn’t a cut, color or style she cant master!

For the last six years Teresa has been doing my hair and I couldn’t be happier! She has done it all with me, blonde, vivid greens, blues and purples, and now back to a more natural tone. She really can do it all! The new Bloom Beauty Bar is absolutely beautiful. As soon as you walk in you instantly know you’re going to get luxurious experience. I love the addition of all the plants in the new salon As well!

Had such a wonderful experience at Bloom yesterday! Janel is amazingly talented and I’m so very happy with the results! I decided to go from my natural brown/black to a blonde balayage and it turned out exactly how I envisioned. It’s obvious that she genuinely cares about her clientele. The overall atmosphere of the salon is also incredible - all the staff was super kind and welcoming. The salon itself is so cute and clean. I would definitely recommend Bloom to anyone over any salon I’ve ever been to and will definitely be returning as a regular. Go see Janel!

Michael was fantastic! I hadn't had the best luck finding a spot I loved to get the look I wanted. Michael did that and more! He made me look fantastic and was wonderful to talk to! Bloom beauty bar is the absolute cutest salon with all the good vibes! I highly recommend it!

My husband surprised me with a salon visit to BBB for Mothers day with Leiah and it was Awesome. Her staff is very inviting, personable, and professional. Her salon is gorgeous, clean, and relaxing. Leiah is so beautiful inside and out, she is amazing at what she does and her staff reflects that of which she desires for her clientele. This is not your average salon, they really cater to a high end feel, high end quality, and are definitely is the BEST IN VA BEACH! I just had my 2nd appt. With BBB and again, same experience, quality, and recommend it to anyone wanting exceptional service!

Okay, so I’m a dad who has never stepped foot in a salon before last week. I suppose I’m unqualified to make this review, since I don’t know the salon industry at all. But I can recognize good people, good vibes, and a good workplace culture. This place has it all. I took my daughter here last week. She’s a gymnast who managed to get her hair so tangled from gymnastics meet hairstyles, hairspray, ocean water, etc that I needed professional help. It had gotten so, so knotted and tangled. I honestly have not experienced this level of kindness and affirmation and generosity at any other business in any industry. The stylists ALL pitched in to help with my daughter’s hair, which was way worse than any of us anticipated. It took hours and hours, and they took turns working on her hair in between other scheduled appointment. Each different stylist would pick up where the other left off, often working together. I feel like I had a front row seat to see their teamwork in action. Nobody ever had a mean word or subtle insult to dispense. Only kindness and a commitment to getting the job done well, while being consistently encouraging. And not in a fake way. This was sincere. Leiah has brought together an amazing group and clearly leads by example. The atmosphere in Bloom is so positive, both the physical space and especially the relationships. I hope Bloom can serve as a model that extends even beyond the beauty industry. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kindness to me and my daughter last week!

Savannah did a dry cut (simple trim) on my hair. She was kind, on time, and did a great job. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes - my ideal situation. I was thankful she understood I like to keep things low maintenance and didn’t want a blowout or style and there was no judgement at all. Glad to have found someone that does a quick and affordable trim. Most salons around here charge $60+ for a cut and I paid $45.

The aesthetic of this salon is gorgeous! And the new building is even more bright and influencer perfection! The details that went into the environment make it extra relaxing when treating yourself and your hair. Teresa is my go to stylist and she’s always fun to sit with. I always get highlights / blonde so we end up spending a lot of time hanging. It took me trying 3 different salons in the area to finally find a stylist and salon I trust :) I’m super particular about my blonde hair.. I’ve been a non-natural blonde for 12 years going and don’t like to cut corners to keep my hair healthy! Teresa was super friendly and informative on our first consultation and I’m considering extensions from her in the future.

The ambiance of this place is like no other!! Gorgeous salon, looks transplanted here from the west coast. The people who work here care not only about the way your hair looks, but they work hard to maintain the strength and integrity of your hair so it lasts. Top tier service and results from really updated and educated stylists. Couldn’t recommend it more!!!

While I'm bummed the new location is farther from me, I'd follow Madi anywhere! She's an incredible, human-centered stylist and an easy-going person. I never feel rushed during my appt, pressured to buy product, or misunderstood about my hair needs. We're always on the same page. For a guy it can be pretty intimidating going inside of a beauty salon but this staff is a part of the elite with their extraordinary customer service. No matter if it was something simple like a haircut or something as extreme as spontaneous hairstyles you won't be able to trust too many businesses like this one

I am extremely happy with my hair. I am so happy that Michael Leo helped me and made me feel so pretty and confident. I am also very thankful for the way that they treat me there surrounded by great professionals and I am glad that I found my place in VB.
