Sofie is a truly amazing, she really knows the body. She knows how to cater to the individual needs of each person. From someone who just wants a relaxing massage to someone with a serious injury that needs therapeutic work. She has greatly helped me before with some serious pain issues from a broken ankle. There aren't enough words to describe the sheer amazingness of my first-ever Thai Massage experience with Sophie at Bloom Bodywork Co! She has over a decade of clinical experience, and made me feel so safe and relaxed, walking me through every step of the process. I left the appointment feeling calmly energized- deeply grounded yet lighter than air. I regained mobility from a recent injury due in large part to this incredible massage experience. I have been visiting Sophie regularly for Thai Massages - her sessions are always completely restorative and help me to reset. It can be difficult to find the right therapist for your needs but she always hits the mark ! She is attentive, asks questions to get a read on what I’m needing and provides insight at the end as to what I could do at home to maintain the benefits of bodywork. Also the ambiance in her space relaxes me even before I lay down on her mat. Highly recommend booking with her !

I went in for massage for carpal tunnel, neck and back pain. Sophie addressed these and did full body work for balance. I've had Thai massage in different countries and she is the best practitioner I've met in the US. Her movements are slow, patient, and strong. She intuitively understands how to apply the principles and techniques of Thai massage for a healing and therapeutic session. I felt great and look forward to the next one!

After moving to the area I needed to find a new massage therapist. As soon as I arrived Sophie welcomed me into the space. She made me feel comfortable and really listened when I talked about how sore and in pain I was. I walked out feeling better than I have felt in months. I am really happy to have found a massage therapist that really listened to what I was hoping to achieve from the session and for future sessions created me a plan to help me accomplish my over all goals.

Great massage. I got two hours of massage with compresses, cupping and scraping. The Thai massage technique included lots of assisted stretching and deep tissue work, it really helped loosen some tightness I’ve been unable to work out on my own. The cupping felt really good while she was doing it but it did leave marks (which I expected and are fading after a couple days) The scraping was new to me, it was really nice on my lower back where I have scar tissue and around my arms and lymph areas. The compress smelled amazing and she used the heat of it to get my muscles to relax. All together a calming and invigorating session. Thanks for working on me

I highly recommend Sophie at True Bleu. Booking an appointment was easy, the space is peaceful, and Sophie is very knowledgeable and approachable. This was my first time receiving Thai massage but I already noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms. I definitely recommend adding gua sha as well.

It was an absolute pleasure to receive Thai Massage from Sophie. She is very knowledgeable, and extremely talented. She performs traditional Thai stretching massage with perfect rhythm and pressure. I felt the tension leaving my body, and my posture realigning. Aches and pains that lasted weeks, suddenly gone. I left feeling lighter and taller. My husband also commented my skin tone had more color, undoubtedly from all the fresh oxygenated blood that Sophie’s massage distributed throughout my body. Thank you Sophie!!!!

I’ve been getting massage therapy for over 30 years, and Sophie is by far the best massage therapist I’ve ever gone to. She truly has a gift for massage. On top of that, she is a creative, intuitive, caring, and generous person, and those qualities come through in her work. In 10 years of regular massage therapy with her, I’ve never had the same massage twice. She has a huge reservoir of knowledge and skills, and she draws from it to address your exact situation on any given day. Portlanders, my advice would be to get on her schedule now because it won’t take long before it’s all filled up!

Sophia is great. She’s a really talented massage therapist who is interested in getting to know and help you. I stopped in at her place for a massage this past weekend and left feeling quite a bit lighter and more relaxed. Next time I’m interested in trying more Thai massage which she mentioned might be good for me.

I came to True Bleu in search of a therapeutic massage for neck and low back pain. Sophie did a thorough assessment and we discussed her recommendations and came up with a treatment plan that addressed all my concerns. The massage and her expertise, caring, and professionalism made me feel safe and secure. I recommend Sophie. Prior to each massage we talked about how I was feeling and each session addressed my needs at that time. My experience has been a great one. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Five stars isn’t enough. She’s a ten.

OMG!! A lifechanging massage. I have had both table and Thai massage from Sophie, and now I'll be comparing all future massages to these experiences. There is no going back, or elsewhere! Sophie has introduced me to a new kind of body therapy through going to her.
