I had only gone to the salon while I was in town like twice and seeing that it had nearly 5 stars- I thought that I was in good hands. This place has a lot of new hairstylists working there as it’s some sort of salon school, but I feel like it outnumbers the stylists with actual experience I was really looking forward to my first appointment, but I left extremely unhappy and totally unsatisfied. My roots were not the color that they needed to be and I don’t think my stylist (which I did like) had the skills or experience to handle what I requested. I requested to have my issue “fixed” and all the stylist did was what she thought was going to work, and it did not work at all. Like why would you have not asked the other stylists around you? or even consult with the owner on how to fix my issue?. There seemed to be a lack of teamwork and collaboration at this salon. It just seemed to be kind of disconnected. I ended up going to a different salon in town and they beautifully helped me with my problem and fixed what I needed done. I mean maybe they are good at cutting hair or doing basic things, but do not go to this salon if you have to have anything done involving hair dye. I just felt like the people in this town deserved an honest review.

I cannot recommend this salon enough! The owner (Erica) and stylist (Cindy) are all incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, especially when it comes to accommodating allergies. I have severe allergies to dyes and peroxide, and they went above and beyond to protect my scalp. Not only are they attentive to your needs, but they also create a luxurious yet welcoming environment that makes you feel completely at ease. The staff is friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely cares about their clients. You will be pampered while knowing you’re in the hands of professionals who truly listen and go the extra mile. If you’re looking for a salon that prioritizes both quality and care, this is the place to go! The front desk manager also is great at accommodating your schedule (email and/or calls are promptly answered).

Jenna was amazing! I was nervous about getting partial highlights because I didn’t want my hair to look too light. Jenna listened to what I wanted and my hair came out perfect. Highly recommend Jenna!

Unfortunately the service was very disappointing and overly priced. It seems to be a school for stylists. My haircut was barely there though I had a detailed consultation. It’s the worst cut I’ve had. The color was also underwhelming

I’ve reviewed before but I had to add my appreciation for the new location! Erica always goes above and beyond to help me feel great about my hair. That said, I would trust anyone on her team bc they all have been so helpful, thoughtful, and professional when they’ve jumped in to assist Erica with my hair in the past.

Erica is the most talented, creative artist I have ever seen! With every visit, she keeps my look fresh, vibrant and current! She refuses to rely on the “same old” techniques so many other hairstylists do. After seeing her yesterday and sleeping all night, I couldn’t stop admiring my gorgeous “pumpkin spice” in the mirror while brushing my teeth! 😂Thank you, Erica! 🥰

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had at a salon! I went in for a haircut/trim and as a 1st time client I was greeted with the warmest welcoming! My shampoo & conditioning treatment was most relaxing (mini head massage, that I wasn’t expecting) & my haircut/trim was exactly what I asked for!! No pushy advise or “know it all” attitudes !!! Finally ! I will be telling everyone about this wonderful place.

In response to the salon, if you look at your fb reviews, you'll see my full name. She knows exactly who I am & the last time I saw her is when she insulted my husband. No need to discuss anything. The damage has been done! I had been coming here for about 3 years, even felt I was friends with the owner, Erica. Until one day she was doing my hair. My husband came in to say hi and she said the quiet part out loud. Insulting my husband's looks & he had always been really nice to her, if i wasn't so caught off guard. I wld have said something at that moment. The extreme unprofessionalism is astonishing! I've told my friends & family & I'll never go there again!

As someone who has what many stylists refer to simply as "difficult hair" it can be incredibly hard to find a salon with stylists who will actually take the extra time it requires to achieve the results I'm looking for. That said, I can't even count the number of salons I've visited throughout Tucson, most of which, fell short and often left me feeling discouraged. However, after having gone to Bloom just two times, I can't say how happy I am to have found this place and my amazing stylist, Chris. From the moment I walked into the front door, I was treated as a unique individual who has differing needs and goals. The salon itself is beautiful and clean and the waiting area is comfortable, (especially when sipping one of their refreshing beverages). Once I was seated in the stylist's chair, Chris made sure to ask further questions about what I was looking for and made sure to pay attention to every last detail. Everything from the service to the amazing results was absolutely incredible and I've already received quite a few compliments on my new hairstyle. In a market that is so saturated by salons and beauty parlors yes, you can definitely find somewhere cheaper than Bloom but I have to refer to the saying "You get what you pay for" and this place delivers quality and consistency that is more than worth the money. I have for sure, found my new permanent salon.

Unbelievable. I came to Erica with over permed and color process hair. Q Tip I was-Yup. She brought me back, conditioned best color and cut I have ever had. So grateful.

I had a very positive first visit experience at Bloom. My stylist was Katy, and she did a wonderful job cutting my hair. She listened to my hair concerns and offered very good suggestions. I also liked how she explained what products she was using on my hair. She did not want me to leave until I was absolutely sure that I loved my cut...and I do! Thanks, Katy!

I paid a fair amount of money for keratin hair treatment, I did not expect to have completely strait silky hair at all , what I expected is a little improvement of the hair texture as this salon described,I did not notice any improvement at all I have followed their instructions by book , and they sold me their products which of course I used ,also I did not receive good treatment at the salon from a girl name Erika I think she is the manger, the way she talked to me and looked at me was annoying maybe because am a hijabi lady 🧕🏼 her tone was telling me “ plz leave we don’t like you here “ Nadia was nice at least respectful not like the other lady I don’t recommend this place ladies and especially if you are hijabi

Kailyn did an amazing job!!! She fixed my hair from previous damage at another salon, and it turned out even better than I expected! It is the perfect shade of blonde and is exactly what I wanted. She also gave me styling advice on how to maintain the health of my hair, as well as product recommendations. Overall, Kailyn was extremely knowledgeable as to what she was doing, and I would recommend her to anyone!

Marie Thornbrue has been my stylist and has done an amazing job with my hair cut and color. She also happens to be just about the nicest person you could get! Her recommendation for shampoo and conditioner have really made a difference for my thin hair as well. Couldn’t be more pleased!

My daughters and I scheduled 3 appointments at 12:30 for blow outs for the wedding ceremony we were attending that evening. My daughters were taken for their appointments on or close to 12:30. Although I was told my stylist would take me at 12:30 she did not; at 12:45 I was told it would be just a few minutes; at 12:55 I was told I would get $20.00 off my blow out due to the "inexcusable" wait; at 1:05 one of my daughters hair was done and she waited with me; at 1:10 I was told my stylist was ready for me. At that point it was too late for me to get my hair styled as we had to drive back and get dressed for the wedding. It was very unprofessional to promise that all 3 of us could get our hair styled at the same time, when the salon obviously could not handle 3 at that time. It was very disappointing and I had to rush back to my hotel to wash and style my hair myself. :(
