The only place I'll go to for a massage, and I've tried a lot of places over the years. The atmosphere is great and the masseuse I work with is so calm. I've also had sugaring done, which went great (considering the whole ripping leg hair out thing). I'll only do sugaring instead of waxing from now on, and plan to schedule this at the start of every summer from now on. Highly recommend.

Blooming Moon has a calm, relaxing, and welcoming ambiance. We were greated as soon as we entered and gave forms to fill in. There's a comfy waiting area with shelves of lotions, crystals, and other wellness type items for sale. My mom and I got pedicures and the pedi space was equally comfy, pretty, and clean. They have a raised bench with lots of fluffy pillows and 2 copper tubs to soak your feet. Jill & Amanda were great. They offered us tea or wine, went over our concerns and requests and were friendly and professional. My feet feel so smooth and hydrated. We'll definitely be back!

Visited Blooming Moon for the first time and have nothing but great things to say! The staff was very friendly from the moment I checked in to when I checked out. I got a massage done by Jennie and she did an incredible job, she really took time to ask my questions about what I was wanting out of the treatment and to make sure I was comfortable! I added on the scalp massage which I highly recommend. I will definitely be back to see Jennie and try some of their other services - I love that they have a membership option as well! Thank you for creating such a cozy & inviting space. If you’re looking to get a massage book with Jennie, you will not be disappointed TRUST ME!

I've been twice now, once for a facial and once for pedicures and both were absolutely wonderful. Katie, who did my 90 min custom facial, was so lovely and the experience was so relaxing. My mom and I got pedicures recently and had a great time, delicious tea and Amanda and Sydney were so great to us. It's been a few weeks and my toes still look perfect. All staff are so friendly. I appreciate their patience with all of the questions I send via email beforehand. I can't wait until my next visit.

Just BOOK a treatment, BOOK an event, or just chill in paradise. I was celebrating an anniversary and ALL I wanted was to be ALONE. The aesthetic outside and in the private cabin is pleasing, and has a welcoming VIBE ✨ The outside space is beautiful, you would not know you are in the city. What a gem in Portland! First time visit - decided to treat myself after a surgery and scheduled a body treatment and a facial and both did not disappoint! They offer lots of product to shop for and some nice little gifts to also pick up. You are greeted warmly by reception and offered flavored water. The rooms are very relaxing and spa like. The beds have a heater so you are comfy during winter too! The steam shower was great though it was small changing space and hard to see the clock to watch your time after treatment. You only get 15 mins from start to finish so it’s really a quick process. The facial was amazing!! Had the master aesthetician and oh my does she know what she is doing. My skin feels amazing and bright and booked another one of her seasonal facials at the end. She also gives hands down best arm, hand, shoulder, and neck massages while the treatments are working on your face. Over all the place was a great little escape to go to. It is spendy but you get what you pay for- excellent and quality services. Will be recommending to friends and family.

I visited blooming spa with my partner as an anniversary gift on a visit from Vancouver,BC and got the couples facials. Unfortunately I was under the impression that the hot tub and steam rooms and felt that at the price, use of some of the facilities would have been nice, as I’ve received comparable services in Canada and they usually come with more than just the facials. Just felt like more could have been included for the cost of the services.

Such an incredible experience!! I came with a group for the soak and steam and got a custom facial which was absolutely amazing! It was all around such a relaxing experience and if I lived in Portland I would 100% sign up for a monthly facial!!

Blooming Moon is such a wonderful and relaxing place! I’ve tried the deluxe pedi and the regular and gel mani with Amanda and have had the best experience both times. Definitely recommend treating yourself here.

I got the soak and steam and noticed sand and black rocks in the jacuzzi and had them stuck all over my body . I noticed them on my body in the shower after I left the jacuzzi . The steam doesn’t give off much steam and the hose to the shower cuts off if you move it in a certain way. They give a pitcher of water with limes and lemons and a hot tea pot with tea. It was a nice experience to sit in a jacuzzi by myself.

Though a little pricey, enjoyed the private soak and steam in a jacuzzi (more relaxing than crowded knot springs). Only bummer is the steam shower doesn’t really work -it doesn’t get hot at all and very little steam is released. The facials here are relaxing but my skin unfortunately doesn’t really tolerate the products used.

Wonderful serene atmosphere and extremely friendly and helpful staff! We loved the private soak and steam (the time FLEW by, haha, we couldn't believe it, but our couples massage directly after more than an hour of decompressing/soaking/steaming, just wow. I'm not super experienced with massages, so I really appreciated all of her communication before during and after. (I have an injury that I let her know about prior to starting and she was very careful to avoid causing discomfort, while still providing an incredible massage!) Highly recommend :)

Blooming Moon Wellness Spa creates such a calming energy the moment that you walk through the doors. Such amazing and friendly service from everyone that I have interacted with. Huge shout out to Kelly Spillane who has provided me with the most amazing facials that I have ever had in my life. Kelly is so kind, caring, and creates such a calming experience anytime that I schedule a service with her. She is so knowledgable in what she does and I feel that I am learning a ton about the current state of my skin without it feeling overwhelming. I also feel that I walk away from my session with some great tools to continue skin care even after my visit. My skin has improved drastically in giving it the hydration that it needs and I feel so much more in tune with what my skin needs after learning from Kelly. If you are looking for an above and beyond treatment, Kelly is your gal!

Came here for the first time a few days ago to get a couples pedicure and a facial. The entire experience was delightful. All of the employees were so kind, and the vibes of the place are just immaculate. I will definitely be coming back!

First time visit and it was amazing! From the inviting welcome, to the service itself, and the steam shower with extra touches- essential oil options, toiletries available, bathroom, and extra towels. All the details were not unnoticed. Looking forward to going again!

I had an amazing experience at blooming moon. My neck and shoulders have had a lot of tension and it feels amazing after the couples massage I booked (Rowan was awesome!) Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was incredible!

I recently had the best facial of my life with Katie. I had a bad allergic reaction about a month before my appointment and my skin was still in rough shape. Katie really listened to my skincare concerns and asked a lot of questions before diving in to the facial, she was really knowledgeable about products and ingredients, and I felt well cared for during the entire experience. The facial was so great, when I checked out afterwards I signed up for the monthly membership so I can get one every month. Not only was the facial an incredible experience, but when I woke up the next morning, there was a significant improvement in the inflammation caused by the allergic reaction. My skin is both looking and feeling better than it has in over a month and I couldn't be happier.

This is a spa in an older Portland home that has been beautifully renovated for this purpose. It feels quaint and boutique—very Portland and not corporate. That said, they have high quality products (e.g. Zoya nail polish and Epicurean skincare) that I’ve found really effective. The pedicure station has two basins and it feels intimate, not like a factory-line. It’s a lovely place to make a double appointment with a friend. I like the Advanced Facial because they can customize what I get based on what they see I need. I always end up getting a few exfoliants (topical + microderm abrasion), a UV light treatment, and one other treatment. My esthetician, Katie, is efficient and often shares good tips on what I could do…even if it’s a recommendation they aren’t selling me on. I also appreciate how relaxing it is. There isn’t an expectation to gab. Do keep in mind you’ll need to go more than once to see results. I go monthly or every other month and absolutely love how my skin looks. They have a great deal on memberships for this and are fair about letting you “bank” unused visits when months are too busy. I try to hit the steam shower before every facial so it opens my pours more. I also use the time to deep condition my hair with product I bring from home, which soaks in beautifully in the 30-min warm, moist shower. I like the results when I go here and I like the vibe. It’s worth the drive from SW Portland to have something classy but not pretentious that can deliver the results I’m looking for.
