If you're looking for a top-notch hair salon in Greensboro, NC, Blow is the place to go! My stylist, Holly, is absolutely amazing—she never fails to deliver the perfect color every time. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming and relaxed, and Holly makes sure you feel like a priority. She listens to exactly what you want and takes the time to perfect your look. John always does a fabulous job and has been cutting my hair for over 20 years! I drive over an hour to see him. He’s always trained on the latest techniques and has great ideas on what to do. The salon is friendly and quiet, makes for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. He also has really cute jewelry and accessories to look at. It’s hard to leave without grabbing something!

After moving from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Greensboro, NC, finding a stylist who was creative, and skilled in cuts, color, and waxing was essential. Having had the same stylist for 18 years, it was a big decision to find someone who could meet my expectations. Holly Rae checked all of my boxes! She’s not only incredibly talented, but also engaging and attentive, ensuring every visit is a fantastic experience. If you're looking for an amazing colorist and stylist, Holly Rae is definitely the one to see at Blow!

Cannot recommend this salon enough! The atmosphere is very welcoming, everyone does their best to make your time as comfortable as possible. Lauren always listens to my requests and makes them come to life better than I could’ve ever imagined. Definitely my forever salon!!

Fine trim, poor communication/accountability. A stylist I previously went to is newly at Blow. Upon the transition, I received a text stating pricing will remain and a discount would be offered upon first Blow visit. I called to schedule my trim, asked about pricing and was told $45. I received a voicemail a few days later correcting the price to $55. Day of, she washed, blow dried and trimmed my hair. At checkout I’m told it’s $95. I referenced the previous information I received and the receptionist called over the owner. He noted the receptionist should not have make a quote over the phone, the stylist should not have promised same pricing/discount and he would have charged me $120 due to the amount of hair I have. So, although I am pleased with the trim, I do not think what I received was worth $95 and was incredibly disappointed the owner wasn’t willing to come to a compromise.

I just moved to Greensboro and found Blow online. Addison was amazing! She really listened to my hair goals and executed perfectly. I was also in the market for new products and she really took the time to explain each product and their benefits. I am so glad I found Blow and Addison!

I recently visited Blow Inc Salon and had such an amazing experience that I had to share! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with smiles and a warm, welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy—stylish without feeling intimidating. Exactly what I look for in a salon. The entire team is incredibly friendly and professional, making sure I felt comfortable and taken care of throughout my visit. My stylist, John (aka proprietor) is fantastic. He really took the time to sit down and chat with me about what I was looking for, asking questions to understand my hair type and daily routine. I appreciated how he didn’t just rush into it but made sure we were on the same page. It felt like a true collaboration, which gave me so much confidence. During the appointment, John walked me through each step and explained why he was doing what he was doing, which I found really helpful. The cut was precise, and the color **WOW THE COLOR** turned out beautifully - rich and vibrant, exactly what I envisioned. I’ve had so many compliments on my hair since that day! What I really loved is how the entire salon went above and beyond with the little things. From a personalized beverage, to a deep relaxing head massage during the wash, to tips on how to keep my hair healthy and styled at home - I felt truly pampered. They even recommended some great products (without being pushy) which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a salon that not only delivers fantastic results but also makes you feel valued and cared for, I can’t recommend Blow Inc Salon enough. It’s clear that the staff genuinely love what they do, and it shows in the quality of their work. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

It has been years since I had such amazing service. I booked with Jim and will not be going anywhere else as long as I live in Greensboro. He was easy to converse with, listened to what I was looking for, and as someone(me) who is terrible with styling hair, he went through steps and tips on styling my thinner hair. I've never had someone be so educational and helpful; I am so grateful. Looking forward to coming back! Plus, I love the shop itself!

I’ve been getting tape-in extensions for 12 years, have worked with many stylists, and tried countless hair brands. After moving to NC from Los Angeles, I had the most unprofessional and inhumane experience ever at this salon, leaving me stuck with extensions I dislike and down $1,000. Lindsey, a young stylist in training, installed my extensions. She had previously done my hair under supervision with great results, so I trusted her again. I paid $906 for 24” Hot Heads in medium brown (#3), which had always matched my hair perfectly. However, when the hair arrived, it looked much darker. I asked if she was sure it was the correct color, and she insisted it was the same, just longer. After installation, the extensions were clearly much darker than my natural medium brown hair. Lindsey said the color would lighten after a wash. It didn’t. After a week, my hair still looked black, while my natural hair was brown (see photos). I called the salon, and Lindsey admitted Hot Heads had sent the wrong color. She offered two options: wait until January for the correct length and color or switch to the Babe brand in the same length and color. I confirmed over the phone that I wanted the exact same color and 24” length. Lindsey reassured me this was possible and even said she’d pay for the replacement extensions herself, as the salon owner wouldn’t help. Embarrassed by how bad my hair looked, I agreed to the Babe extensions. When the new extensions arrived, the color blended better, but the length was noticeably shorter than 24”. I asked Lindsey why, and she claimed she didn’t know, as she had ordered 24”. When she compared the Hot Heads extensions to the Babe ones, the new ones were about 3” shorter. I was livid. I paid nearly $1,000 for extensions to add length and ended up with hair barely longer than my natural hair. Lindsey said she’d try to resolve it with Hot Heads but doubted anything could be done. She then offered to resell me extensions at a salon discount. After already spending $1,000, I refused to pay more and just wanted what I had initially paid for. Lindsey told me to text her directly, not the salon, because the owner was rude and had caused her to lose clients. She claimed he was retiring soon and that she was trying to ensure I had the best service. After texting her for updates and receiving no response, I contacted Hot Heads directly. They were willing to fix the issue if the salon opened a claim. However, when Hot Heads called the salon, Lindsey was “unavailable.” Frustrated, I went to the salon in person. Lindsey was there, but before I could speak, the owner came out yelling. He claimed the salon had ordered the wrong color and length, directly contradicting what Lindsey told me. He then accused me of agreeing to shorter extensions, which was untrue—I have text messages proving Lindsey promised 24” extensions. The owner became aggressive, pushed me, threatened to call the police, and began recording me. This entire experience has been horrific. I now have extensions I dislike, which are the same length as my natural hair, and am out $1,000. Do not go to this salon. Filter their negative reviews, they are accurate, you’ll see similar horror stories. I wish I had.

Lindsey cut and styled my 16 yr old and she was thrilled with the result. Lindsey works with my thin fine hair weekly and she miraculously makes it look great. Lindsey always shows courtesy and professionalism. I would highly recommend her!

I moved to Ridgeway, VA in the summer of 2020 from Maryland. I had been using Kevin Murphy brand products for about 10 years and had looked up a salon on the area that carried that brand of product. When I went in to purchase product John introduced himself and asked if I had a stylist. I did not, so I scheduled with him. I loved John and he did my hair for about 3 years. John got harder and harder to get into unless you booked several months in advance, so I stated going to Jim Le when he joined the salon. Jim did a wonderful job on my blonde hair. I have no complaints whatsoever about the work done on my hair…. HOWEVER…. As a customer who had been coming over an hour to get my hair done for over 4 years I expected a little respect and that is not what I got at this salon. For almost 5 years I had been a regular customer, who almost always scheduled my appointments about 16 weeks in advance. I did my best to keep my appointment times, but I’m a busy mom with three kids and live an hour away. I did have to reschedule from time to time. I had an appointment booked for October 24th with Jim for 9:00 am. The salon opens at 9:00, so I called at 8:50 and spoke to Lindsay to reschedule my appointment for the day because my 7 year old son woke up sick. I kept him home from school and didn’t think it was in anyone’s best interest for me to take him to my hair appointment. Lindsay helped me reschedule for the following Tuesday with Addison (who I had seen before and loved). I hung up feeling good that I was able to reschedule before a big even I had the following weekend. About an hour later Lindsay calls me back and tells me I will need to prepay for my appointment with Addison since I missed my appointment that morning with Jim. I was upset, but willing to make the prepayment since I needed to get my hair done before the wedding. I did ask to speak with Jeff, the one who usually handles scheduling since I was upset and felt I needed to let them know why. After explaining that I was upset about the policy because my son was sick and I didn’t have a choice but to cancel unless I brought my sick child with me, Jeff let me know that not only would I have to prepay for my service with Addison for Tuesday, but I would also have to pay 100% of the cost of my appointment I cancelled for that day with Jim. I would have owed $250 for that day plus an additional $250 for Tuesday. I was furious. First of all, after 4 years, no one had ever told me about that policy. Second of all, you called me back an hour after rescheduling my appointment with no issue, knowing I was home with a sick child to tell me this. The icing on the cake…. I was a long time, regular customer who always tipped at least 20% of my bill. I never did speak to John or Jim, either one, who had both done my hair for a long time and I felt I had built a good relationship with. At the very least, I feel one of them could have been the one to call me back instead of Lindsay, who I had never really had any interaction with outside of her jumping in to help blow dry my hair from time to time. Jim had also been doing my son’s hair for the past several months and had built a relationship with my son as well. I’m extremely disappointed in the customer service at this salon and honestly shocked at how I was treated. Jeff actually hung up on me at the end of our call while I was still telling him that I had just recommended their salon to two of my friends from Ridgeway. I will never go back. As much as I loved my color, I refuse to spend my money anywhere that doesn’t respect my duty as a mom to be with my children when they are sick. Shame on you Blow Inc.

I have never had such a great experience than the one I had with Lindsey. Not only did she make me feel so beautiful but my hair has never looked or felt better!! Lindsey is THE BEST hair dresser at this salon, she is also really sweet and kind. You can tell she really cares about you and loves what she does. I had such an enjoyable service with her I could never have anyone else touch my hair ever again. You will not be disappointed, she is worth every penny and more!! Trust and believe after she does your hair there's no going back!! You'll thank me later😉😚

I have been coming to this salon for about a year and always have a phenomenal experience with the staff. Addison has been hooking me up since day one when I came in to have someone just fix a mess of hair I was left with from another salon. And I have found my home! Addison takes her time getting my hair right EVERYTIME and going the extra mile to make sure the time I spend there is worthwhile and is exactly what I want. She is very personable, down to earth and the type of stylist who is meticulous and proud of her work. I enjoy every visit I have here!

After debating for a couple of years I went in today for extensions and I am beyond pleased with the outcome! The staff are so inviting and friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Lindsey gave me so much more than I was expecting and not to mention her bubbly personality! I will definitely be back every 6 to 8 weeks!! I feel like an entirely new person!

Do yourself a favor and book your next cut with Jim Le at Blow Inc. While all of the stylists here seem fantastic, Jim is truly an artist and a standout. He takes time to listen to exactly what I want and advises me on what will work best for my hair, then explains his styling techniques step by step so that I'll know how to care for my cut at home. He always takes the time to make sure every cut and wax is perfect, and the fact that he's super-sweet is the icing on the cake. Jim is relatively new to Greensboro, but once his reputation spreads he will be in extremely high demand. Get in with him while you still can!

I got a haircut and smoothing treatment from Jim He did a great job and really pays attention and goes into detail making sure my hair comes out like the picture i showed him. I had asked him to give me the same haircut that he gave me 9months ago and he perfectly replicated it! I never had a hair stylist or barber be able to replicate one of my previous haircuts until i got my hair cut by Jim. He also gave me a lot of helpful tips on how to style my hair at home and he's also really cool to talk to

I recently had my hair color corrected and cut by Jim. I was unhappy with my blonde hair color that was done at another salon, and Jim fixed it beautifully and gave me a cute haircut. He is great at listening to what you want and delivering it! From now on, I will only go to him for my hair!

I cannot speak highly enough of the excellence at Blow! I’ve been getting my hair done professionally for 20+ years and I’ve never had it done exactly right — until I made an appointment with Jim Le and came to Blow for the first time last week. Jim is a phenomenal stylist. What’s more, though — is the fact that he is a listener, and a gentle presence who is in complete control and totally rocks a cut and color. Jim is my new stylist. I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Period. He has decades of experience and has learned from the masters here in the States and Europe. He is THE best. Oh, and the salon is gorgeous, entire staff is gracious and welcoming. 1000 stars.

I had a great experience with Blow before I even walked in the doors and then it just kept getting better. I left a message late in the evening before because I was traveling to Greensboro for a basketball tournament and decided I wanted to pamper myself with a blowout between games. The owner emailed and texted me early the next morning to find a time that would work for me. They didn’t have the most ideal time available, but offered to accommodate me anyway! Then because my daughters game ran super behind, I was late. I kept in contact regarding my tardiness and they reassured me everything would be okay! I showed up expecting the stylist to be upset with me but she welcomed me with open arms and assured me she was glad I was there. Kim, my stylist was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was easy to talk to and took the time to assess what products would be best for my hair and gave me one of the best blowouts I have ever had , and some good conversation to boot. Would definitely recommend and I will be back every time I am in town! Thanks for a great experience Kim, John, and Jeff!

Mind-“blowing” First-time Experience at Blow!! From my initial call/ conversation into the salon with Jeff, to my lengthy, careful, pampering Root-coloring session with Jim! I have been on a year 1/2 Quest searching for my hair’s perfect Stylist and I’m thrilled to say I search no longer! Currently in my transition towards Platinum Blonde, Jim will NO DOUBT certainly take me there with careful consideration, time, advice, knowledge, and tips, and his GENUINE care for me and my hair’s needs. Wonderful Professional, and made my experience so warm and laidback. For me to fall INSTANTLY IN TRUST with Jim regarding my hair is certainly a reason to pay attention to! Absolutely AMAZING stylist in all aspects. My 8 week wait for my next Bleaching session is too long for me to be patient, as I simply cannot wait to return to such an exceptional experience with Jim! Thank you for providing this for me during a time where we are having a lack of this type of service!
