I am obsessed with my color!! I needed in last minute before going out of town and Elizabeth did such an amazing job. I couldn’t be more happy with my blonde. Blue Door is super cute & has a cozy feel. Couldn’t recommend this salon & Elizabeth enough.

I can’t stop looking at my hair! Elizabeth did such a great job on my blonde highlights. I wanted a very blended color and she exceeded my expectations. I felt very comfortable and welcome during my entire experience. My hair is so pretty and healthy now & I trusted how thorough she was. The salon is gorgeous and Elizabeth is the best!

My stylist was Elizabeth Powers, and not only was she the sweetest person, she is amazing at what she does! I had a hard time finding a salon that I could trust but I found Blue Door on google and decided to take a leap of faith and book an appointment. I wanted a natural looking blonde that could grow out for a while and not need constant maintenance. She did an amazing job delivering what I wanted and I have been getting non stop compliments.

Maddie at Blue Door did an amazing balayage color on me! I am so impressed with her attention to detail and truly giving me the exactly color I wanted!!!

Mic (@micki_bluedoor_nails on Instagram) was SO deliberate, particular, and skilled when she did my nails!! I have never had a nail technician check so regularly for evenness, shape, etc. I am truly so impressed with how perfect they are.

I had such an amazing customized facial by Nicole. She is so knowledgeable and professional! I felt very comfortable and relaxed the entire treatment. I will definitely be doing the same treatments again, my skin is glowing!!!

I have been going to Blue Door and seeing Brogan for haircuts and full-head highlights on my mid-back length hair for a year and a half now. I chose her after admiring the hair of a few friends, who are also clients. Prior to seeing Brogan, I had only ever had my hair cut and highlighted by my mom, (who used to be a hairdresser), and was accustomed to being a control freak and feeling zero awkwardness being vocal with my preferences and concerns. When I decided to switch to a salon, I was really anxious that it would be uncomfortable and possibly disastrous to trust someone else with my hair, but my experiences with Brogan have been literally perfect! She takes the time to listen to your vision for your hair and then confidently whips out an amazing result. She’s so knowledgeable and professional- you can feel as she’s working she REALLY knows what she’s doing. As an added bonus, she has a fabulous personality and is so fun to talk to. The salon is usually quite booked up, but it’s worth waiting for. ✨💖

I’ve been going here for years and NEVER leave disappointed. ❤️ They offer a wide variety of services and products. It truly is a one stop shop for all things that make us feel good and ready to take on the world. Like I mentioned, everyone here is so talented at what they do, I feel like I’m in the hands of a team of experts. The place itself is so ADORABLE and stylish. Blue Door Salon & Spa staff are awesome! They are a full service salon & spa. Each & everyone of them are friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I have been going to Brogan for 5 years. I’m in my seventies so have had lots of experiences with stylists. But my 5 & 7 year old granddaughters love going to Brogan too, she makes them feel so special. Brogan’s professional talents are amazing & she has some of the best products. My hair has never felt so healthy yet Brogan never “pushes” her products. Brogan is so genuine…..a beautiful & kind soul, inside & out and she makes you feel beautiful too. 🤗

Brogan is a miracle worker!!! I got extensions for the first time and the before and afters speak for themselves! I couldn’t be happier the blonde is exactly the shade I wanted and it blends with my hair seamlessly.I highly highly recommend Brogan and everyone at Blue Door is amazing!

I had a massage with Samantha at Blue Door and she was FANTASTIC! One of the best massages I’ve had. The space was beautiful and I felt so comfortable with her. Could not recommend enough!

I scheduled as a walk-in by a stylist who said they don’t have a receptionist. She said to confirm. I confirmed online. That was ignored. Apparently, I was sent a confirmation request via text message that came in on an 800 number. So, it was missed. They didn’t inform this to look for a text from an 800 number. Would have been helpful since like many people, I ignore 800 number calls and texts. Since I confirmed online, I thought I was all set. NOT QUITE! They don’t check online confirmations, so I got a text message telling me to reschedule. Wow! Here’s the kicker! That text message came using a proper area code like most small businesses not an 800 area code, so I answered it. What a difference an area code makes. Problem was, it was the owner’s personal phone. Again, how was I supposed to know that because she didn’t tell me until way later after a lot happened. After I received the text asking me to reschedule, I called the number the text came on many times with no answer. Remember, at this point, I thought it was the business phone because the owner didn’t say one way or the other on that the reschedule text. I sent several messages in addition to texts. I tried to leave a VM, but the box was full. (I started wondering if it was a cell phone then, but thought it was a business cell phone.) Being ignored for some time, I got frustrated, as a BRAND NEW CLIENT WHO WAS GETTING TERRIBLE TREATMENT, and I wrote my original one-star review. Later, I get another text apologizing, which was good and honoring the apppt which was good. After that, I get another text message cancelling the spot AGAIN. This time instead of blaming me for not confirming, a stylist had found my one-star review. The owner said she had to, ready, set boundaries. What! Talk about setting boundaries, I confirmed in advance. That they didn’t check their google to website confirmation button was not my fault. That they didn’t tell me nobody would be available to answer calls or that by responding to the text message I wasn’t calling the business phone WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS AS TO OR WARNING THAT I WAS CALLING AND TEXTING THE OWNER’S PERSONAL phone, is inexcusable. That I received multiple text messages later, instead of the owner evaluating the situation to see what went wrong with comms, and blaming the client—me—who made EVERY EFFORT to communicate, not knowing which number called what phone, I am not surprised that mine is not the only poor score for their business mishaps. The owner acts like I didn’t give her enough time to respond. Here’s a tip: tell the person you are texting, on the first text that you’re using your personal phone so they don’t expect an immediate response back. Set clear expectations so customers know to ignore the online confirmation method and to expect a text from an 800 number for a local business. NEVER put the responsibility on the client to know what you haven't told them. Have a receptionist whose job it is to PROMPTLY answer the business phone not a stylist who may or may not her to busy to get the phone. This is the gateway to your business. Don’t block it by not being prepared. Don’t spend more time defending your business than you do hearing customer feedback. If you get a bad review, don’t cancel the appointment, bend over backwards to show you take your clients seriously as well as professionalism and a well run operation. I had planned to delete my e first review the one I wrote while waiting at least an hour before someone finally responded to my messages about wanting to keep my appt and that I had confirmed not knowing the online confirmation button doesn’t really mean you’ve confirmed. Learn to own mistakes to make your business better and better. Never can enough be said about thinking through the way the customer is experiencing things or seeing through your customers’ eyes. I am not the first to write about this problem with this salon. Continue reading this review on my next post. This post is number one of two.

I've had many massages with Sam Stinson and each time has been incredible. Her technique is on point and the pressure is always just right. The atmosphere is always so pleasant, with the option to choose essential oil scents, a table warmer, and hot towel service. She's also just a lovely, kind human being. 10/10 recommendation. Do yourself a favor and book your appointment now.

Kinda sad how it turned out; I did have to spend more money and finish it on my own. It was embarrassing walking out the house until I redid it. I definitely don’t recommend this place if you want fun colored hair. I love my stylist but don’t think I’ll be back … ———— The owner contacted me about what was going on; she was very nice and understanding. She offered some solutions and we worked things out. Thank you!

Samantha at blue door is AMAZING!! She is so knowledgeable and talked me through everything she was doing and the benefits of doing it! I got stretching and cupping done and my body feels amazing! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Samantha is an extremely talented massage therapist. She's helped me so much with stress and pain. I also go to Blue Door for facials, eyebrows, and nails. Love this place and their inclusive, kind and family-owned vibe!

Very happy with my hand-tied extensions from Brogan. I previously had fused extensions and they were harder to maintain, but I’m relieved at how beautiful and natural these are. I’ve been going to Brogan at Blue Door for 6 years and am so grateful for her talent, expertise, and friendship. She seamlessly takes my ideas and brings them to life so I can have my dream hair! My only wish is that I knew her when I had my wedding, so I could have her do my hair at that time - these bridal hair styles she does are seriously stunning!

Best pedicure experience I’ve ever had! The salon is so cute and relaxing inside. The lady who did my pedi was so gentle and made sure to check in with me and my friend to make sure we were happy with everything. Will definitely return!

Google doesn’t have massage listed on their services but they have a massage therapist here, Samantha! What a great experience. She’s very attentive and her room is cozy and comforting. I felt so relaxed from their beautiful waiting area and then into an absolute bliss estate after my massage by Samantha. Highly recommend her! Can’t wait to come back :)

Hands down best salon in Omaha. Been going to brogan for atleast 8 years. I have the absolute thickest hair and it’s very hard to find someone who can really manage and style and not fry my hair off. I’m also very dark haired and she has always made me look like the natural blonde I wanted. 10/10 I was lucky I found her through an old friend!!

I called over a week ago to make an appt to get my hair done for an upcoming out of town wedding. The lady that answered said she needed to get back to me because she needed to check with some of the stylist. I gave her my name and phone number and have never heard back. So much for trying to give my business to a local salon in my neighborhood.
