I had the best facial of my life at Blue Door, courtesy of a gift certificate from my friends. Maria Martin, the owner, is a fantastic woman who has a gift for putting people at ease. I will most definitely be coming back...it was even more relaxing than a massage. Maria has a reputation as being a dog whisperer, but she is also a human whisperer and you will walk out calmer than you could have imagined.

Oh my, I didn't know just how much my first session with Maria would calm and soothe me. I felt complete and utter relaxation as well peace and a sense of being nurtured. There is a warmth and charm to her home as well her self ...I eased into the zone so easily. Thank you Maria, the whole time with you and Blue Door was perfect.

Unbelievable experience from the moment you enter this tranquil beautiful space you feel a sense of peace. It is so much more than a facial treatment. Maria is lovely kind and genuine. She has thought of everything the comfy table the music she has chosen the smells of the products and the slow calming care she applies to her treatments.I really can't say enough

Go through the blue door for a bit of heaven 💙 Maria has a wonderful spirit and gentleness that seems unreal! Her place is super cute and cozy, and my mom and I felt really welcomed like family.. lol. The service was amazing, I can't say enough about this place. A HUGE thank you to my friend Maria Martin for what she calls The tranquility facial, and I call, turn into a puddle on the table treatment. Nothing short of a miracle if someone can turn this stressed out, sun baked , gardening crone into a relaxed, moisturized human again. This is so much more than a facial. It gets you in touch with all your senses and keeps you wondering how each step she does can be even better than the last. She made me walk a straight line and touch my nose before I dared to drive. Whether you are a local or visiting from out of town, do yourself and book with her. You will not be disappointed.

As a licensed aesthetician myself I can assure you that Maria is like a blue moon, you would be blessed to find another aesthetician that provides you with the same mind blowing, meditative state experience as she does. She is a rare gem as an aesthetician and my only regret is that I live 2 hours away or I would be here weekly!! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment!!

I've been seeing Maria for nearly 2 years now, and each time I book an appointment, I am reminded just how magical she is. Having explored spas around the world, I can attest that her treatments are unlike any other - and they keep evolving, so each session is fresh and new. With each session, Maria constantly sets her own bar higher, which you wouldn't believe is possible once you've had one. You can tell she has put in the work to find the best products: they're clean, they smell amazing, and they work! I love my new H is For Love tester kit! I cannot recommend her enough - for anyone looking for a reset, or to recharge, she is truly the only person in the MWV you should be seeing!

Maria has cultivated something so very warm, welcoming, and magical with Blue Door and the absolutely incredible facials she provides. She is truly a one of a kind, amazing, and talented aesthetician (and person, all around). My skin has never looked better and anytime I go in for an appointment regardless of the mood I'm in I know I will leave feeling like a whole new me. Maria's Sensorial Facial is one of a kind, it's fabulous!. Her technique involves awakening your body and mind, that transports you to another realm. I've never had a spa treatment that relaxes so deeply - and my skin feels amazing. Five stars and then some!

This is not just a facial, it’s an EXPERIENCE! Highly recommend for relieving stress and feeling refreshed. I had my first facial at Blue Door Skin Care today and before I left, I booked another appointment! If you want to be pampered from head to toe, you are in great hands with Maria. The brushes, the serums, the warm/cold elements are all magical. She will take such good care of you!

This was my first ever facial. I was a little overwhelmed with the options on Google, so I decided to read reviews to help me find the right esthetician. I am beyond grateful that the reviews led me to Maria. From the first moment we spoke on the phone, she made me feel so comfortable (I didn't know what to expect because I had never had a facial before). I knew from just speaking over the phone that she was incredibly knowledgeable and would know exactly what my skin needed after a bad burn and peeling from vacation. Once I arrived, I went downstairs to her beautiful space. It was incredibly calming. I really liked that it wasn't in a busy salon where I'd hear a bunch of background noise. The bed was sooooo comfortable. Before the facial even began, I felt like I could just drift away. During the facial, she explained everything she was using and doing. She also took some time to really look at my skin so she could tell me the health of my skin. She used all natural products that smelt so lovely. My skin felt amazing for weeks.. I can't wait to go back so she can work her magic again.

What a wonderful experience, an oasis, and the best way to recharge. Her space is dreamy and makes it so easy to truly relax. 90 minutes with a foot soak is the way to go. My skin feels so rejuvenated after a facial with Maria. It’s truly the best and I cannot recommend Maria / Blue Door Skin Care enough!
