I found Leah online after looking for someone who creates haircuts for the person rather than just the same Instagram post over and over again. I am growing out a less than amazing bob haircut and Leah really worked with, talked through what she was doing to get me to a spot where it will be nice as it grows back out. I told her I’m ok to lose the growth if it means it will look more intentional and grow out better. This was an overall great experience and can’t wait to go back.

Leah is so talented! She did a wonderful job restoring my daughter’s box dyed hair back to normal! She took her time with both of us and we were incredibly pleased with our results! The best part though is she is incredibly kind!

Super experience getting a cut & color today with Leah. The cut is great & color is fabulous- also she’s created a very relaxed environment with good conversation! I love that it’s a private booth, too, in case you’re feeling in a not too many people kinda way. 5 stars!

Had a great experience getting a last minute haircut with Leah. She was able to get me in only a couple of hours in advance. I have fine wavy hair so it can be a challenge to get something from online inspiration, but I got it and it looks really pretty 😊

I have been going to Blue Honey to have Leah cut my hair for the last several years! My hair is very fine with a mix of curls and waves, and she does an amazing job of catering to my hair's texture. Her skill is worth every penny; my hair not only looks great after the cut, but grows out well too. She's catered to my changing style through the years--bobs, pixie cuts, undercuts, easy wash-and-go looks, and more styled cuts. I can't recommend her enough.

Leah is super talented and a kind person! I really like the haircuts she has given me. She also did balayage with gray blending, which I am happy with as well. In addition, she gives great advice for my wavy hair- product and technique recommendations that have proven super helpful. The only downside is that the hourly pay system makes it difficult to gauge how much a service will end up costing. Her skills certainly warrant the cost. I recommend her. Thank you Leah!!

Leah is the best! She's taken my hair from 'old frayed straw-broom' to 'curly garden in spring'. She does wonders with my curly hair, with cuts, gloss and balayage. She's really kind and a holds a lovely conversation. Her space is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Today was my first time at Blue Honey and I went for a long layered haircut. I have thick Asian hair. Leah went above and beyond my expectations and I plan to go back to maintain the cut (or try a new style). She's knowledgable, kind and personable. I'd recommend going to her for a nice, calm atmosphere while you get your new do!

I love every visit to Leah. Before I found Leah, I thought my 2A/B hair could either be straightened, or I could work hard to scrunch & dry the curls, but it never looked good just natural. With Leah’s ability to dry cut to the actual shape of my waves, for the first time in my life, I can enjoy wearing my natural soft waves with just a little product. I always feel confident that she’ll know what to do with my hair each time I want to try different styles or length, esp because she has great personal style herself. Also have loved the highlighting she’s done for me to add texture and lightness. She’s super knowledgeable, and as someone who likes to play with & maintain my hair at home, I love that she’s happy to teach and coach me on what I need & how to do it. She’s awesome & I’m so grateful I found her!

Talented. Charming. Professional. Creative. These are a few characteristics I'd use to describe Leah at Blue Honey. I started visiting Leah's salon just a few years ago and now that I know the joy that's a haircut from her, I truly can't imagine going somewhere else. Leah has an uncanny ability to quickly scan a photo of a random shag cut I'm pining over and create a lovely version specific to me. It is so important for my haircut to be low maintenance with little required styling and Leah gets it! The struggle is real with some locations that are not equipped to deal with wavy/curly textured hair, resulting in a subpar cut that needs to be cleaned up again in just a couple of weeks. In this regard, Leah is a game-changer. I refuse to stop raving about her work. Beyond the phenomenal quality of her haircuts, she's a delightful person to sit and chat with for a bit, too! If you: have wavy or curly hair; want a haircut from someone who can create something for your unique hair and style; are ok with strangers regularly approaching you to inquire about your glorious haircut, then book an appointment with Leah!

Amazing color work! She not only took me in at the last minute, charged a fair price for a foil all over bleaching that looks natural, and also took the extra time and stayed late to retone my brassiness down to an ash tone! I've been going to Leah for 21 years - since she was at Stephen Szabo in the South Hills Village Mall. She is incredible with balayage and razor/shag cuts, which have been my most recent obsession. See pictures below for all of the cuts and colors I've gone to her for over the years. I've had blondest blond pixie, red, shag, baby bangs, various shags, etc. She is never afraid to try new things and change it up if that's what you want! She invests in furthering her technique and she's also known for curly cuts. Leah knows how to shape the face in the most flattering way. She is also one of the kindest, most joyful, and independent women I've ever met. Going to her makes my day bright! She loves her job and it shows. The products she uses are also incredible. New Wash is detergent free and it has changed my life. Goodbye shampoo. I had stick straight hair my entire life until she introduced me to New Wash. Now I have air dry beautiful waves. Literally could not recommend her more!!
