I can’t emphasize how cool of an experience this was! My husband seemed hesitant at first, but once we got settled in he loved it. We definitely plan on being back and bringing friends along to enjoy this relaxing space. If you’re debating trying this, please do. It’s definitely worth it!

And speaking of soaks, the soak recipes they offer are nothing short of phenomenal! Each one was a delightful sensory experience that left us feeling refreshed and invigorated. What sets this spa apart is the thoughtful provision of materials and tools that enhance your relaxation. Everything we needed was readily available, allowing us to truly unwind and enjoy every moment. Our time here was absolutely fantastic, and we're already planning our return. Blue Star PDX is a wonderful place to soak and relax! I can’t recommend it enough. The space is clean and calm. The details of the experience are beautifully curated and I love how unassuming the space is from the street. Can’t wait to go back.

Went to Blue Star with my best friend for his Birthday. The parking was a little sketchy but everything after that was nothing short of amazing. Jesse was so unbelievably kind and accommodating, what a welcoming host. The soaking area is magical! We took the last reservation of the day, there were lanterns and little lights in the trees. The water was perfect temperature and the "Blood moon pagan delight" bath sachet and Epsom salts were delicious smelling and feeling. This place is going to be a monthly destination for my friend and I for general self care. My friend got the opportunity to relax and his safety needs were all addressed. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this experience was for both of us. We can't wait till next month when we get to go back!

What a special place! I booked an appointment for a 1 hr, 2 person soak to celebrate my partner's birthday and the attention to detail shown by Blue Star's host, Jesse, is incredible. The woodwork is breath taking and the baths are spacious and accommodating. Do ask for the anti-slip matts or extra grab bars if you're a shorter person or simply desire extra stability. We went with the Etoile Bleue epsom salt mix with oatmeal and my skin felt amazing after. We added a CBD upgrade as well and left with a peacefuly dreamy feeling. Jesse has the COVID-19 precautions handled and I felt more than safe.

this place is a beauitiful hidden gem, perfect for fighting the mid-pandemic winter blues. lovely, unique setting; cleaning and safety precautions on lock; a perfect way to soak out some of the stress of this time. we scheduled our second visit as soon as we got home from the first!

Blue Star Portland offers the perfect "city getaway!" I reserved the 1 hr soak & felt at ease immediately. Speedy check-in and introduction - then the lush greenery surrounds you in your private oasis. Delightful. Highly recommend!

Blue Star Wellness is terrific. Jesse takes extra care to make sure that you feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to communicate. The space is very welcoming. His massage was great and left me thoroughly relaxed and tension free. Looking forward to booking again.

I have had long term chronic back pain for as long as I can remember. I have had massages from many people. Jesse actually got in to the knots where the pain was and really worked until the knots started to ease. If you have chronic long term pain let this man help you. You will only be satisfied. I believe the best massage you will ever experience.

Jesse was great! He took the time to show me the backyard bathing area which is beautiful and tell me about the future plans for more amazing features. His bodywork is thorough and informed. Unlike many massage therapists, Jesse adjusted his pressure throughout depending on how my body was responding..A+

The studio was warm and inviting. Jesse took the time to understand problem spots and checked in periodically to see how I was doing. Also liked that we took a couple of quick water breaks. His approach his intuitive and he had a very calming presence. I look forward to my next session and checking out the spa options.

Wow! Everything about Jesse’ approach is spot on. Sensory relaxation begins upon entering the home to a great aroma. The treatment room ambiance is candlelit with calming meditative music and kept at a consistent warm temperature. The massage bed is quite possibly the most comfortable thing I’ve ever lain on, supportive but also really soft you just sink into it. He takes the time to understand your specific issues and comfort levels and then proceeds to give an amazing intuitive massage with seriously refined technique. Super A+ professional masseuse who caters to the whole experience.

Jesse is an angel sent from above. I feel like every other massage I've received was kid stuff compared to what Jesse does. The deep tissue massage was at the perfect amount of deepness. The heated bed and blankets were awesome, I felt like I was in a cocoon of love. Amazing, simply amazing!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Best massages of my life! Ive always thought massages just werent my thing, but really, i just hadnt found the right massage therapist! Jesse takes a well rounded approach to the entire process and its clear that healing people is his passion! He really listens to what his clients want, by asking questions before starting, but also by being very perceptive of body language during the massage. Now im hooked, I hope he is my massage therapist forever!

The massage itself was beyond anything I've experienced with past massage therapists; so good, in fact, that I've already booked two more appointments and am looking forward to them. Jesse is the best. He really takes the time to understand what is bothering you to ensure that he addresses any pain. Also, he takes the time with you after the session to provide post treatment advice to help alleviate any pain. Jesse will be my only LMT while I am in Portland!
