I had a wonderful experience for bridal hair and makeup with my stylist Kelsey! She travelled to Port Townsend, WA and did makeup for me and my bridesmaids, and hair for me and my MOH. Kelsey kept the vibes positive, you could tell she was very experienced. She knew just how to work with people who aren't everyday makeup wearers. And best of all, everyone looked beautiful for the whole day and photos! I had a great experience with Blush and Braids overall, they were great communicators and worked within my budget. Thank you, Kelsey and team!

I highly recommend working with Blush and Braids!!! I used them for my wedding, and they were so talented, delightful to work with, ran ahead of schedule, and very professional. Everyone in my wedding party was so happy, and they were great at both hair and make up, which I feel like isn't a given. I'm so glad someone told me to use them. They killed it.

I HIGHLY recommend using BBBB for your beauty services. As a bride who doesn't typically wear makeup and has naturally curly/wavy hair, my priority for hair/makeup services was finding a place who would make me look and feel beautiful and confident, but still like myself. The BBBB team KNOCKED it out of the park. Amy (makeup), Milian (hair) and Brenda (hair/makeup) were so kind and professional while doing hair/makeup for myself, my mother, my two grandmothers, my mother-in-law, and my two maids-of-honor. They kept us on schedule, but were flexible when someone was running behind or needed to take a break. Their energy was fun, warm, and relaxing, which helped to really set the tone for the day. Everyone was saying how the morning of the wedding felt almost like a spa experience – it was that relaxing! We all looked beautiful, seriously. And we all felt like *ourselves*, which was a top priority for us. I remarked to my husband that I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life on my wedding day – and I don't know if I'll ever feel more gorgeous! So much of that is attributed to the hair and makeup services I received from BBBB. I felt so confident heading into our wedding day. Not once did I feel preoccupied about my appearance, because the artists crushed it. Thank you BBBB crew for making such a special, cherished day all the more magical.

Can't say enough positive things about my wedding hair by Reyna. She is AMAZING!! Truthfully I was a bit nervous because all of my friends seem to have had issues with their wedding day makeup or hair (not using Blush & Braids) but I can't emphasize enough how beautiful I felt. Only negative using Blush and Braids is, the other person they provided for makeup did not show up on time and was very misled on my parking instructions. I think the Blush and Braids team didn't do a great job communicating with the contractors they assign. In retrospect I may have opted to book with the artists directly - but if you don't know who to book, Blush and Braids is a great option.

Loved my experience with Blush and Braids! I got my bridal makeup done by Jenna and she was absolutely amazing!!! I loved my makeup so much and it LASTED so well in windy/drizzling weather. I've never felt so beautiful and my bridesmaids looked amazing. I had bridesmaids of different ethnicities and skin types but she did an amazing job for everyone. Milian did the bridesmaids hair and everyone looked so good!! Everyone's hair looked good even after taking pictures in windy/drizzling weather. Could not be happier with my choice to use Blush and Braids Beauty!

We would like to sing the praises of Yoce, the hair artist (extraordinaire!) from Blush and Braids Beauty Bar, who created the hairstyles for our daughter’s wedding. Yoce’s incredible talent is matched only by her kind spirit and patience. She created 6 different looks, all beautiful, and was so perfectly customer-service oriented that we all felt as if we were her only client. She is a magician with bangs! Everyone was thrilled with the hairstyle she created for them. Yoce was also very patient. She made sure everyone was happy with their hairstyle and never seemed put out or bothered by any requests whatsoever. Yoce is so talented, but her kind demeanor was as important to us as her talent. She was always patient, calm, accommodating, and really really nice! Thanks to her, our daughter’s wedding was even more beautiful than we imagined. We are so grateful for her time and talents.

Eva is so talented and very warm and friendly! She did my hair and makeup for a special event. I was very happy with how it turned out and it lasted the whole day! She is very knowledgeable and made helpful recommendations! She’s open to feedback and wants you to be happy with the final look. It is kind of pricy, but i do think you get what you pay for. I would recommend her!

I booked a makeup artist for my wedding in the PNW area. Kat did an amazing job. She listened to me, my bridesmaids and mom to make sure we had the looks we wanted. All of us looked beautiful. She was also fun to hang out with as we were getting ready throughout the day. Definitely recommend Blush and Braids Beauty Bar.

I could not recommend Blush and Braids more highly! They were on time, very kind to work with, and did INCREDIBLE work with my bridal services and for all my bridesmaids. My curls and extensions lasted all night throughout dancing and warm temps, and I got tons of compliments on my makeup. I highly recommend them!

I couldn't have had a better experience. My artist Macy, captured my vision for my wedding hair and makeup so well! I don't know a lot about makeup or hair, and even with lacking the exact language to describe what I wanted, Macy took my inspo photos and ran with it. Everyone was on time, friendly, and honestly, the team just felt like part of our wedding party. I also felt like they did a great job with the moms of the wedding, especially my mom, who doesn't ordinarily wear much makeup and was extremely nervous to have it done professionally for the first time. I got so many compliments all day on my hair and makeup and at the end of the night everything still looked great. Macy provided me a touch up kit that I barely needed to use (mostly just used it to refresh my glossy lip throughout the night for photos). Lastly, a few of my wedding party members have disabilities and the team was patient & helped everyone feel included while turning out some really pretty looks. Would absolutely recommend Blush and Braids to a friend :)

I won an Instagram raffle for a free makeup service. I chose to book it the day of my small wedding in Oct. I asked for a trial in which I would pay for. I also asked other questions leading up to the event including if we could move times, add hair, and add another person. I reached out 6 times before I got a response. I had to reach out to them via email since they weren’t responding on Instagram (our original communication thread). This was literally weeks of no response. I sent an email w/ multiple questions and they answered 1 of them. I messaged them to cancel everything and told them the rationale (their lack of communication)… And all they did was ‘like’ the message. My service was probably not important to them because it was comped, even though I was wanting to add on and pay for everything else. Literally feels like they wanted me to cancel. Not to mention all the stress caused me having to find new services just a few weeks before. Anyways just so incredibly unprofessional all around.

From my trial to my wedding day, Mercedes delivered exactly the look I wanted. She gave great advice on how to make my inspiration pictures a reality and I felt so fabulous on the day. Not to mention, my hair and makeup stayed all day and all night - even through hours on the dance floor! On top of that, Mercedes is a great person and was wonderful to get to know. I can't recommend BBBB and Mercedes enough!

Nothing but positive things to say about Blush and Braods Beauty Bar. They have been so professional and have prompt communication throughout my planning process. They were so accommodating when I came down ill the day of my hair trail and quickly rebooked me. Sofia was an absolute rock star. I was sooo concerned as my girls and mom have different hair textures and types and wanted everyone to feel beautiful. All of my bridal party looked stunning. Blush and Braids Beauty Bar did the hair for myself and my 7 bridesmaids for my wedding. They did an amazing job on each girl! The make up looked very natural and beautiful! Everyone's hairstyle was amazing, and both the hair and make up lasted all night long! Fitemah and Sofia were able to complete everyone's look a little bit ahead of schedule, which gave us extra time to relax on such a busy day. I felt stunning on my very favorite day! I would highly recommend that you use Blush and Braids for your events!

Blush and Braids was incredible to work with for my wedding! Hung did hair and Heather did makeup for me and my bridesmaids. Both of them are warm, friendly, professional, and TALENTED. I told Heather that I wanted to look like myself, just dialed up. I didn’t want to go too glam or look too different. She made me feel like an absolute goddess, and perfectly achieved the look I asked for. I have a very fine hair texture, but a LOT of hair, which can be tricky to work with. Hung not only got it to curl (a feat), but the curls lasted hours, and looked so natural. He also did a braid for my MOH that was stunning. I would absolutely recommend Blush and Braids as a business, and Heather and Hung specifically!

I had an excellent experience working with Blush and Braids for my wedding. My amazing makeup and hair artist, Mercedes, is not only incredibly talented, but was also so pleasant to hang and work with. We did one makeup trial together, and two hair trials. Then on the day of my wedding we did my hair and makeup, and my mom and sister’s makeup. Everyone was very happy with their look. As a cherry on top - all the communication from Blush and Braids was spot-on and proactive.

I used Blush and Braids for my wedding in Lake Forest and they did an amazing job!! The girls were all very friendly and they made the getting ready portion of our wedding day so much fun. They showed up on time, and left earlier than we thought which was perfect because everyone got their hair and makeup done in time. They helped with all of the touch up’s and even gave me a bag for the day of my wedding encase I needed extra hairspray, hair ties, or clips. I would 100% recommend them and use them if you are getting married.

I went with Blush and Braids for my May '24 Chicago wedding hair and makeup since I had a smaller bridal party (2 moms, 3 bridesmaids), I wanted to keep our getting ready time between 9am and 1pm (nobody needing to wake up at 5am), and I wanted to wear my natural waves/curls on my wedding day. They were able to accommodate all of this by sending two stylists. On wedding day, they arrived on time to the venue and were fully ready to work with us when we arrived. Mercedes worked on my hair and makeup and both of the mom’s makeup. Mercedes had an incredibly calm and kind presence and was so supportive when she noticed me getting tense in the afternoon. She absolutely nailed my updo with natural curls falling out beautifully (even though we had done a different style at the trial), and my makeup felt like an elevated version of myself. The other stylist, Dalilah, did an excellent job on my mom’s curly/wavy hair and two of the bridesmaids with straight hair. However, she was not prepared to work with my bridesmaid with coiled hair and did not appropriately listen to instructions from Mercedes or the bridesmaid about how to accomplish a basic style on her hair. This did leave my bridesmaid feeling bad about her hair texture, and Mercedes ultimately took over to help recover the situation. I did inform the owner, Katie, afterwards. She appeared to take the feedback very seriously and communicated it to the stylists as well. She also stated that all of the stylists will now “take minimum of a full day training focusing on curls in order to continue to be scheduled on bookings.” I’m hopeful that they will improve so all the stylists can work well with all textures of hair, but for now, I would recommend being sure to emphasize if you need stylists with curly expertise (not just for the bride, but for others in your party as well). I did my trial for my bridal shower, and I had comments that were perfectly addressed for my wedding day. That is all I could've hoped for from my experience! They used my inspiration photos and nailed it. My girls were also so happy with their results!

Working with Blush and Braids for my wedding day was so lovely and stress-free! I worked with Brenda for my makeup and Milian for hair and would not change a thing. They both executed my vision based on inspiration photos and our conversations perfectly. I have never felt more beautiful! Blush and Braids was also able to add on a third artist last minute for the bridal party and Lorraina was so lovely. Everyone absolutely loved their glam. I also loved how easy it was to rent extensions through them. I can not recommend Blush & Braids services enough...from scheduling to artistry...they are top tier!

I was very pleased with BBBB professionalism. Katie was prompt at responding to emails, it was so relieving to have a vendor that was always on top of it. Both my hair stylist and MUA were very nice and good at their craft (I had Giselle a Fatemah). They interacted well with my bridal party and made everyone look so beautiful! I rented extensions and used fake lashes for the first time and it was a success! Giselle was very good at setting realistic expectations, and she did a good job on taking feedback from my trial. Just to add one point of criticism because that is what makes a good review- they charged for a transportation fee, but one of my artists came from 4 mins away. Honestly though, BBBB were my most easy to work with vendors, with perfect results day-of AND more reasonable pricing when compared to others. I would definitely recommend BBBB to a friend!

My session was incredibly helpful and she went above & beyond for me! I also had a make-up session with Brenda, who taught me some new looks and how to use the products I currently have. I booked Blush and Braids Beauty Bar at the recommendation of my hai stylist to help with my wedding party hair styles. From initial communication, they were incredibly responsive which is so incredibly helpful during what can be a stressful process! Their artist Val showed up promptly at start time on the day of the wedding and kept us on track, finishing 5 hairstyles by the time we needed to be done! The girls all looked so beautiful, and everyone loved their hair. The styles truly lasted all night. I could not be more impressed with their service!!!

My whole bridal party was raving about Giselle's makeup services, and Macy's bridal hair styling. Macy was also so accommodating and stuck around so that we could do a 2nd hairstyle look for my wedding after the ceremony. Everyone was great to work with, thanks so much again.

I hired Blush & Braids for my bridal hair and make up and they were exceptional. I chose them over some other studios because they listed all of their HMU artists on their website - to me, this showed that the company was proud of their individual artists and I appreciated being able to learn about them in advance. I worked with Heather for hair and Brenda for makeup. They were both very kind, professional, and efficient. Every interaction with them, from the initial HMU trial to the wedding day, was wonderful. They took their time to listen to what I was hoping for and made specific recommendations based on my skin and hair. On the day of the wedding, they did a fantastic job on a wide variety of hair and skin textures - ranging from 20-somethings to my 80yo grandmother.

I'm glad we went with Blush and Braids Beauty Bar for our wedding day! I love how my hair and makeup looked, and my bridesmaids also enjoyed their experience. Sarah and her assistant also stayed a little bit longer for touchups and I appreciate that! The planning process was very smooth and they were very understanding when I had one person drop out of receiving services the week of. I do wish my makeup lasted a little longer into the night however. I found that my curls had gotten a little frizzy and knotty by the end of the night as well. It was rainy that day, and there's all the dancing, so I know a lot of that can't be helped! When I look back as well, I wish we only had two artists on my wedding day. Originally I had booked three, but the third had a last minute emergency and an assistant came instead. Since the assistant was only working with Sarah and not on her own, I wonder if we should've just had two artists just to save some money. I do still recommend Blush and Braids though -- they did great work!

Blush and Braids Beauty Bar did an excellent job with my bridal party’s hair and makeup. When I did not have a successful first trial, I appreciated that Katie was very helpful in finding a more experienced hair specialist and scheduling a new trial for me. In the end, the morning glam team was on-time, professional, and made everyone look beautiful. My hair makeup lasted all day in the heat and humidity, which was very impressive as my hair usually does not hold a curl. Thank you Blush and Braids!
