Unfortunately this was a very bad experience. It was my first time coming to a Boardroom. I came because my regular stylist was booked and I needed a hair cut quick. I decided that “you get what you pay for” and chose to come here assuming I would get a good cut, boy was I wrong. This was nothing but a wood paneled Sport Clips. The “first time discount” price of $53 (plus tip) was a rip off. The stylist was not professional, fleece sweatpants doesn’t scream upscale salon. Much worse, she was sloppy. I wanted it off my ears and trimmed all around. She buzzed the hair right by my ears, left the hair just around that long, chopped up my cowlick, and gave me the most uneven sideburns I’ve ever seen. My 4 year old could have done a better job with fisher price scissors. It was a shameful waste of money and time. This will teach me to be patient and go to someone I trust.

Fantastic service! I just walked in off the street and had no idea what I wanted done with my hair. Ingrid buttoned me up fast and I’ve been getting compliments ever since! I will definitely be back soon!

Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Got my cut done with Rose and she worked straight magic on my hair. Ever since I’ve gotten compliments daily, a promotion at my job, and my credit score increased 10 points. 10/10 would recommend. Check before and after if you think it’s 🧢

Got here from Miami in a rush to get a cut. They were fully booked but Cynthia said no worries and gave me a cut in between their rush. I greatly appreciate it, they were very nice and professional. Thank you Cynthia and the boardroom, hope to see you guys again!

I had a cut with Rose and a Shave and Beard Trim with Olivia. They were both absolutely fantastic. Everything from the greet walking in to my time in the chair with both Rose and Olivia was meticulous and personal. Shame on me for not coming here sooner. This will for sure be my new go-to. Thank you Rose, Olivia and the wonderful receptionist who made me feel welcome from the get go. See you soon!

The worst premium haircut experience ever. Saving grace was a complementary beer. Barber didn't even seem to want to be there. Basic cut that I could have gone anywhere for. Didn't even shampoo or or offer what was listed on the inclusion list of an express cut. Front desk person was gone. So a barber had to stop mid cut to train my barber to work the POS. What's happening here? I could get the same cut at for less than 50% of the cost anywhere else but came here for something worthy of a $50-$80 haircut. Did not get 90% of it.

Had a 315 appointment, they rescheduled to 4. I said ok. At 320 i got charged a $25 no show fee for a 3pm appointment i never agreed to and they told me they can no longer fit me in their schedule. For as much as they charge, I expected a lot better. Do not recommend at all.

Service was kinda meh. The stylist didn’t follow pretty clear directions (accompanied by a picture) for how we wanted my son’s hair done. “The part needs to be on his right, just like in this pic” ended with the part being on his left. Fun times brushing his hair for the next 2 weeks. Also, I asked to leave a 20% tip which somehow ended up at 30%. Not big deals in the grand scheme of life but we won’t go back.

$57 for a 15 minute meh haircut? Unbelievable. Criminal. To make it worse, when she asked if I wanted a shampoo I said no, thinking it was extra. It was supposed to be included, but no one bothered to tell me that. Never going back.

Daniel’s been cuting my hair for years now. I used to get a taper fade with scissors on top. Daniel always nailed it! Then, about a year ago I grew my hair out and now I do a scissor cut all over. I love the fact that I can come in, sit down and be confident that I’m gonna get the same haircut I got last time.

I followed Daniel from the Las Colinas location. He’s been cutting my hair since I moved here. He does an amazing job with his skin fades. I find nobody else can blend out the faint line at the bottom like Daniel can! Hence I refuse to sit in anybody else’s chair.

I have changed barbershops numerous times for a bad cut. But even when the cut isn’t the best. It’s still better and more consistent than anywhere I’ve ever gone. This is my barbershop. Thank you!

I have had my hair cut by Cynthia every other week for almost three years now…except for the occasional time when I’ve been too late trying to schedule—her slots get booked up because she’s so good! On those occasions, I’ve had the pleasure of working with almost every other stylist on the Boardroom team, with excellent results every time. I’ll admit, I’m a pretty picky client: I show up with very specific ideas and sometimes complex styles, and they reliably exceed my expectations. The staff at this location maintain an excellent balance of professionalism and fun. I always feel respected and well cared for, and I always leave with a smile on my face. I especially appreciate their desire to meet me where I’m at on arrival: whether I need a quiet, chill service or a chatty catch-up, they are ready to adjust to meet that need. If you like to have your hair cut regularly, I strongly recommend a membership. If you go just twice a month, you save quite a lot relative to the full sticker price for your service.

I've been going to Boardoom Salon at The Hill for a little over a year now. My first appointment was with Zakiya and she made such a great first impression she's the reason I got a membership and keep going back. Get yourself the benchmark by Zakiya, she does an amazing job! Apart from her excellent skill, she radiates such a fun, positive energy and I always leave with an uplifted mood. When I couldn't book with Zakiya, Cynthia has also helped me out and does an amazing job as well. Definitely recommend trying them out.

I’ve been going to the hill boardroom for the last four years or so and what keeps me coming back are the quality cuts and care. But also the warm friendly atmosphere generated by everyone who works there (Nadia). I always laugh and have a good time there. Genet has been my stylist for some time and she does a wonderful job, though I do make it easy on her because I’m almost bald. In any case, seeing Genet 1x a week is a visit with a friend who happens to have great skills in cutting hair. She always makes me look my best, which can’t be easy. #grateful

Love the haircuts but the price increases are insane. How many times do you have to increase the prices to for these haircuts? It used to be $55 for a benchmark, now it’s up another $22? Edit: The stores response doesn’t even respond to the multiple increases in prices. I’ll be lowering to one star. Sucks because the stylists are great.
