I went there for a massage a few days ago (I'm not a regular recipient of those) and was kinda disappointed with the amount of pressure I got during my experience. My fault for not speaking up as I have an issue with that lol. I called and they were SUPER nice and understanding and credited me back the money I paid for the massage and told me that their customers are their top priority and that they insist I come back. They didn't have to do that, considering it's up to me to speak up on how I like things and that's a growth opportunity for me. They have my business for life. Fleming is also the best with waxes, and she's such a beautiful soul. Thanks Body Works, I will continue to tell everyone how awesome my experience was ❤️

I had a lovely massage today under the magic hands of Rae. However, the facility was so cold that it was difficult to relax. The lotion felt like it was our of the fridge. When we tried using a space heater, the noise made me feel like I was in the boiler room of the building! Really, can't Body Works start saving some energy and eliminate the artic conditions if their spa????? This extreme cold is the antithesis of the relaxing experience it is meant to be.

I was in a lot of pain from inflammation in my back. I was able to get same day appointment with Rae. She listened to my concern and was able to feel the tightness and worked it out in my muscles. I felt so much better and Rae was a pro! Definitely returning! She was very nice as well as Fleming…both very knowledgeable.

I can’t say anything about the actual spa/salon location, but wanted to mention that Emily Harris from BodyWorks Day Spa is incredibly talented and efficient as a wedding stylist. She came to the hotel where my wedding party was getting ready, and was able to do hair and makeup for me, four bridesmaids, plus the mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and grandmother of the bride. I’d highly recommend Emily’s services, but make sure to book your wedding and your hair trial early, because she fills up her calendar quickly!

My friend gave my mom a gift card that she could use it to get a massage. Even though the Swiss massage didn't feel like a real massage, the masseuse was a nice lady. The big, heavy weight receptionist, however, was horrible. She doesn't know how to speak to customers and does not listen. She sounds really immature and is rude. I gave her the gift card and my friends name and she acted like I was speaking some other language, other than English. Gosh, she couldn't even pull up the name "Hana" in her computer and acted up on me. I refuse to go back to this place and won't be recommending this business to any of my family or friends. Update: Went to get massage at a different location and the lady who gives massages used to work in this location previously and complained about the same receptionist. 😂

This place was a hidden gem! My wife and I were in Lynchburg for a wedding and decided to schedule a couples massage. The massage therapists Ari and Rae were fantastic! They are both truly experts at their craft, and my wife and I both commented that that was the best massage we ever had. The whole shopping center is unassuming, but it's filled with neat little shops and restaurants. Call ahead because they stay busy, but this is worth putting on your calendar.

I would like to tell you that Rae is the absolute best. I have had many massages in my life and this woman is the best I have ever had. I recommend getting the hot stone massage but make sure to ask for Rae!

So, this was my first time ever getting a wax for downstairs. I’ve decided to go with the French Bikini wax to see how I’ll handle it. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be! And the sweet soul who did my wax was so inspirational and kind! Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name. 😭 She made me feel so comfortable and our conversation was pleasant and eye opening!
