I booked an appt here because they advertised themselves as gender affirming haircuts. I received a text saying my appt was cancelled because the stylist doesn't do mens cuts. I booked an appt with the stylist that does "mens" cuts. I told her I didn't want any length off. I had been growing my hair out for a year. For some reason she cut over 2 inches off the top of my hair. Now I can't tie it back. It will take months to grow back.

I've been seeing Nikki at Bohemian since 2017, and she's not only an amazing stylist, but she's also become a close friend. The salon always provides a welcoming, inclusive environment. I also absolutely adore the owners. I trust Nikki with my hair completely, and she has never steered me wrong. My color is always on point as is my cut. My husband now goes to her, and yesterday, we took our daughter for the first time too. Nikki and every stylist there went out of their way to make my daughter feel comfortable. Can't recommend Bohemian (and Nikki particularly!) highly enough!

Nadja is wonderful! My thick hair needs lots of layers and texturizing to bring out the curls. She does an amazing shag cut and I’m so glad to have found her.

Bella legit is a magical stylest. When initially booking an appointment, I went in for the first time and just chose someone with the availability that worked for me. Bella far exceeded my expectations after I just verbally expressed what coloring I wanted and didn’t really have good examples of what I wanted. I could not be happier with how she balayaged my hair perfectly! Will only go back to her from now on!

I have been seeing Nikki for over 3 years and every time I am so happy with what she can do! She is the first hairstylist I have complete confidence in her and what magic she can make happen when I sit in her chair. I make the 2 hour drive from the mountains to see her for all my hair needs. She is the best!

Jules does an amazing job with my hair each time. She listens to what I am looking for and makes it happen! The low maintenance cut Jules does for me is perfect for my hair type and easy to style with my busy mornings. Will see again and would recommend! Bohemian Stylehouse is also great. Their facilities are clean and welcoming of all types!

Bohemian Stylehouse is one of the dopest salons in Charlotte hands down. They have such an amazing team of stylists and I had the pleasure of getting my haircut by one of the best cutters in the city... Jules Gainey. My consultation with Jules was more than I expected. She sat down with me, asked me questions about my hair history and goals, and jotted my answers down with a pen and pad. She took notes! Who does that? It's all about the little details that singles her out from the rest. I told her that I once had super long hair that was ruined from a terrible bleaching incident at my old salon (I am a hairstylist myself and do not work for Bohemian Stylehouse). I had to cut it all off last year because there was no saving it but I wanted to grow it out again. She understood the assignment and knocked it out of the park. I got this haircut with Jules like 6 months ago. Since then, my hair has grown out perfectly. The shape and layers she cut into my hair back then has now flourished into something thats given me the confidence I lost. I absolutely love my hair more than ever. Jules definitely goes above and beyond for her guests. She's amazing and beautiful inside and out and her talent and personality will keep you coming back to her chair. Thank you Jules and Bohemian Stylehouse... you know I'll be back.

I finally got the haircut that I’ve been trying to get for the past 4 years from Jules! She sat down and intently listened to what I wanted, and asked clarifying questions regarding the pictures I brought. She made regular check-ins throughout the session to make sure I was happy with the length and shape of my layers, and kept me informed on what step she was. She made me feel welcome, heard, and gave me the best haircut of my life. As it grows out, I’m loving it more and more, which Jules intended as she specializes in natural textures and long wear styles.

I had an outstanding experience with Jules (@stealinlooks)! She took the time to consult with me about my current hair health and what style I was trying to achieve. Super kind, passionate and knowledgeable. She did an amazing job with my transformation from long hair into a shaggy cut with bangs, taking into consideration my hair’s texture and lifestyle. Jules is exceptional at what she does! She is such a gifted hairstylist. She is kind, professional and knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen to what you want and constantly checks in to ensure you are happy with your cut. I always leave her chair feeling 10x better. Personally I love her calm and down to earth vibe. I usually hate being in salons but she has always made me feel comfortable. I can’t recommend her enough! Go see her! Bohemian Stylehouse is a beautiful and calming space. The easy check in and out was a plus. Highly recommend!

Have had my hair done by Rachel twice now and I always love it!! She does such a great job and is very friendly. Reads the room well too, like isn’t super talkative if you don’t want to be but will also chat with you if you want! Super easy to book appointments online. I will continue to go back :)

You MUST go here and see Savannah. If you want bold, beautiful hair, she’s your new stylist. Finding this salon was nothing short of a miracle, and I am so glad that I did. I felt comfortable there 100% of the time—everyone was kind and friendly. Savannah is incredibly talented, humble, and just a sweetheart. She was always so excited to talk about options and my thoughts/questions. But, she’s a magician and turned my ramblings into gorgeous, gorgeous locks. She is absolutely worth the cost. I’ve never felt so connected to a stylist than I have Savannah, and I doubt I’m her only client that feels that way.!

I had an appointment with Jules on Friday and it was my first time seeing a cutting specialist. She was so so sweet, she asked great questions and I showed her three different pictures of hair goals, something that I wanted to grow into as my hair is pretty short at the moment. I had a bad experience with a different stylist in October and had been cutting my own hair since then. There was no judgement from her at all, and in fact she was so encouraging. My curls are CURLING and I’ve already gotten a lot of compliments on my hair. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Jules. I rebooked with her and I will happily refer any and every one to her.

I had the best experience here at Bohemian Style House with Sav. She listened to everything I didn’t love about my current Color and transformed it into the most beautiful hair color. Prior to my appointment she communicated that she wasn’t sure I could be the exact blonde i wanted in one appointment which I understood. However, she got my hair exactly where I wanted. She is definitely a blonde specialist. So excited to come back!!

Sav is amazing!! It was my first time in and I got highlights and a styled cut and she absolutely delivered! She is super knowledgeable and helped me decide what I wanted to do with my hair. It’s always nerve-racking trying new salons and finding a stylist but I felt so relaxed and felt an instant click when I met Sav and stepped into the salon. I have had nothing but incredible experiences at this salon! It is so welcoming, warm and everyone is so friendly (not a stuffy salon like most). All the stylists are so talented and supportive of each other! Sav is my stylist and she nails it, every damn time!! Her color and cuts are so beautiful and I love coming in for every appointment because I know I’ll leave looking the best I ever have. On top of that, she is the biggest sweetheart and I have loved getting to know her over the years - we instantly hit it off! She makes you feel like you’ve known her forever and really takes the time to listen to her clients and achieve exactly what they are looking for.
